If you have visited my regular Blog, Debbie-Dabble Blog, you may remember my Gnome and Fairy Gardens that I shared in the Summer......
In preparing and cleaning up the yard for the Winter, I took apart these gardens, cleaned up all the pieces, which was easy because I had sprayed them with a Sealant in the Spring before putting them outside and got ready to pack them away....
And then Joe called me and told me that they had Christmas Fairies and Elves at Big Lot's!!!!
Now they are offering 2 Christmas Fairy Sets....
They are $20 a set and I am sure they will be on sale soon but I did not want to buy a whole set when I already had several houses.
I did use a Rewards coupon and bought several Christmas Fairies and Elves.....
HERE is a link to their Christmas Fairy Items.......
I gathered together all of my Fairy Houses......
And decided to add a little "Snow" to them........
And taped them using surgical tape......
I then applied some silver and white glitter to the pieces of "Snow".....
Then I checked my craft stash and I found some small bottle brush wreaths and trees......
I then used a sticky product that I have and use for my Doll House items, to apply them to the houses....
I can then take the wreaths off at the end of the season and simply wipe the sticky stuff off.....
I did see that Michaels now carries this product and sells it where their display of the Lemax Christmas Village is in their stores.....
I think I did a decent job of making my Fairy Houses look a bit Christmasy!!
I decided to create my Christmas Fairy Village under the Tree in the my upstairs Sitting Room.....
Yes, my entire upstairs is completely decorated for Christmas already.....
I didn't get really fancy and simply laid out the village on top of the tree skirt.....
I added some Christmas bottle brush trees......
I added greenery and a wreath to the arch......
The bottle brush tree with the ornaments was bought at Michaels.....
Don't you just love those Christmas Fairies and Elves.....
This bottle brush tree belonged to one of my neighbor's....
And that is my Christmas Fairy Village!!!
I added a strand of battery operated LED lights to light it up a bit.......
I am glad I will be able to enjoy my Village during the Christmas season.......
In my next post, I will be sharing the little changes that I made to our outside decorations in the front of the house.......
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
Hugs,
Debbie

Oh Debbie, I just love your Christmas fairies! I have to take H to therapy in the morning and I may just run over to Big Lots and see if ours have any! hugs....
ReplyDeleteWhoa. I came to get inspired and it didn't disappoint! I've got work to do to catch up Debbie!
ReplyDeleteOh Debbie, your fairy gardens are wonderful. So festive! Big Lots, eh? Hmmmm. Maybe I'll take a drive there soon. You really do up everything in a big way. You you retain your child's heart and that is too awesome for words. Susan
ReplyDeleteDebbie my dear hubby is going to ban me from reading your wonderful blog. I just HAVE to go to Big Lots now to search out the holiday fairies. You are too clever to add snow to the rooftops. I LOVE it! :)
ReplyDeleteYour holiday fairy village is so sweet! It's always fun when you can find a way to use favorite items re-purposed for the holidays. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your decor!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Love your fairy village! I just went to Arkansas this weekend and we went to the Garvin Woodlands Gardens. One of their displays was Fairy Land. I would love to send you the pictures! Let me know how to get them to you. Love your Christmas Blog and your lovely home! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteI fell on love with your fairy village, it's such gorgeous. Your decors are always so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHugs Alessandra
Aww, this Christmas fairy village is adorable Debbie :) Love everything. Thanks for sharing at Creative Mondays
ReplyDeleteDebbie, you are starting out in high gear. But, just think how much time you will have to enjoy it all since you have got all the hard work done. It looks so pretty and festive..I bet those fairies are glad they have you for their mama!!..Happy Monday..Judy
ReplyDeleteThe little elves and fairy's are too cute and a great idea to use the houses you already had and just winter them up a bit, like the sparkle :) works great under your tree
ReplyDeleteBoy oh boy, Debbie! I could use some of your energy!! Very festive and fun! Thank you for sharing this project at Dishing It & Digging It! :) We enjoy having you each week!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love your fairy land, Debbie. I have a bird bath that I turned into a fairy garden a while ago. Last year, just after Christmas, I found a set of Christmas figures for it at 75% off at Michaels. I can't wait to set it up for Christmas this year. Thanks for sharing at Wrapping Up the Holidays Party!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun! I LOVE that vintag bottle brush tree with "ornaments" on it. Cool!
ReplyDeleteI need to remember to leave comments on your blog using my LTV blog now. I'll get the hang of this someday.
ReplyDeleteAww...everything is so pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!
I enjoyed looking at your little fairy village. Fairies intrigue me.
ReplyDeleteAfter the presents are gone, underneath the tree looks so bare and lonely. Certainly not festive. Adding a little decor set like this would be a great way to spruce it up.
Debbie, I think you did a great job of 'winterizing' your houses. Love the addition of the wreaths. What a fun fairy village! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
How clever that you added "snow" to your fairy gardens! I have some miniature Christmas projects in the works myself ;) Thank you for sharing @Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeletelove it your fairy land is so super cute and I guess if there was a fairy land yours would be among the tops and every fairy would love to visit or be part of it
ReplyDeletecome see us at http://shopannies.blogspot.com
Debbie, this is a brilliant idea! I'll have to do it with our little fairy garden. Thanks for sharing at Merry Monday!
ReplyDeleteYour fairy garden is too perfect! Such a cheery place for sure :) Thanks for sharing at Funtastic Friday Debbie!
