Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!
Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!
I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!
The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....
I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

In my last post, I shared Our Thanksgiving Day celebration and the Beverage Area of the Kitchen....
Click HERE if you missed that post!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
I finally finished the Kitchen and actually debated if I was going to decorate the Den as I do not like to be tied up decorating this late, into December....
But I decided I will.....
So this is the Break Down of how long it took me to decorate my townhouse both inside and out.....
2024
Front Porch and Yard - 3 days
Dining Room - 4 days
Powder Room - 2 days
Kitchen - 4 days
The Kitchen was longer because I only decorated for half a day a few days but I added them together and came up with 4 full days of 8 hours of cleaning and decorating per day....
The Den usually takes me 4 days to do....
Today, I will be sharing the Kitchen Hutch and the Tree decorated for Christmas....
I have changed up quite a bit of things in the Kitchen this year, going full out with Gingerbread decorations....
These are some of the new things that I bought this year and used in the hutch and on the Tree.....
Look for them as we move along.....
This Village from Hobby Lobby was gifted to me by my sister, Barb....
Along with a Gingerbread tree which I will point out later in this post.....
I always say this is the focal wall in my Kitchen because it serves absolutely no purpose but to decorate it!!!
To the left.....
I made this valance out of a piece of vintage fabric bought at a church flea market.....
I am a "sentimental' decorator and use a lot of things that were handed down or gifted to me by family and friends....
The vintage phone was my neighbor Elly's....
A vintage sifter and an apron I bought and embellished last year...
On one of the shelves that my Dad made for me out of scrap lumber.....
A vintage glass canister filled with vintage cookie cutters, a Gingerbread Girl bought at Walmart last year, a vintage martini shaker and a vintage meat grinder like the kind my parents had and used to make kielbasi and nut roll.....
A chalkboard a co- worker gave me.....
I embellished the lid of a Victoria's Chocolates box because, as I grew up with Gertrude Hawk chocolates, Joe grew up with Victoria's in Hazleton....
Hanging above the Tree.....
A Gingerbread sign I embellished.....
I love it!!!
I also bought this child's apron this year and added the Gingerbread figure to it's pocket.....
My Kitchen Candy and Gingerbread Tree....
The set of peppermint candy lights I had for year's bit the dust this year ....
The bow topper is made from a candy cane ribbon and there are streamers of both that ribbon and a Gingerbread Man ribbon.....
The Tree from the side....
From the front.....
On the floor around the Tree is what I guess you can call a homage to milk!!
Milk bottles from a local diary and a Milk for Santa Container in a vintage milk bottle carrier and a Milk for Santa bottle candle.....
A Ho Ho Ho cookie jar, that was gifted to me by friends, and a wood mason jar sign.....
I made a lot of changes to the Hutch this year....
The top half......
Kitchen Santa's bought at Penney's....
Last year, I added Mrs. Santa to my Kitchen Santa Collection....
I did the shelves completely different this year, focusing on Gingerbread and candy and baking.....
The top shelf....
The peppermint dishes were bought 2 years on Clearance....
A Gingerbread canister and figurines, both bought at The Christmas Tree Shop
Another Kitchen Santa and a cookie jar bought at Target years ago....
Pfaltzgraff Winterberry Salt and Pepper shakers and ginger container....
The bottom shelf.....
Vintage Santa salt and pepper shakers.....
My new Gingerbread cookie jar....
The desk area and underneath it......
I did the desk area of the Hutch totally different this year.....
In previous years, it looked like this.....
I wanted to do something different because of the cute mini Gingerbread Village that my sister gifted me so I created a Gingerbread Village......
The tree to the right of it was gifted to me by my sister.....
The small Gingerbread houses are ornaments.....
The cupcakes were bought in The Christmas Tree Shop....
A vintage milk glass lamp in the corner of the desk....
I hung these amazing creations that were gifted to me, by my FB friend Angela last year on each side of the desk area....
You can find her FB page HERE...
More Gingerbread and the lighted copper Tree from Dollar Tree on top of an antique tin bread box.....
I placed the Gingerbread house sign that I bought in Dollar General last year over here by the Hutch this year....
To the right of the Hutch.....
I packed away my antique green yellow ware bowl filled with wooden apples that normally graces this shelf....
I moved my vintage bowls over onto the shelf this year from the Hutch where I had them for many year.....
The johnny Walker match box was my neighbor Elly's....
Another vintage jar canister filled with cookie cutters, a vintage tin canister set and a Gingerbread Man from Walmart....
My Mother's antique sifter and another apron that I embellished.....
Above the door to the Den....
Cooking Santa salt and pepper shakers, a pie plates and peppermint candy dishes........
And this is where I will leave off for today....
In my next post on THURSDAY, I will be finishing up my Tor of my Kitchen decorated in a Gingerbread and Candy theme.....
