I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

NEW CHRISTMAS TREASURES!!

For those of you who have not visited before, Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!
Many of you may have visited Debbie-Dabble before.

Here is where I concentrate on All Things Christmas, which is my most favorite time of the year.

I am currently in the midst of getting ready for our Church's Biannual Flea Market which Joe and I are in charge of. I go through everything that comes in, sort it by deciding to keep it to sell, donate items that are good but we usually can not sell or throw away broken items or just plain garbage.

I also do all of the advertising for this event and pay for ads placed into the local newspapers. Plus I keep a running tab of things that I am buying and usually end up paying the church a hefty amount!! LOL!!

These are some of the wonderful Christmas items that I decided needed to come home with me!!

Here are some ornaments.......

The Santa on the right has a string on the bottom that when you pull it, his arms and legs move! Too Cute!!

Love this nostalgic looking slate plaque!

Sorry this is a bit blurry but look at the sweet face on this little angel!!

This one is a beauty! A Hallmark Snow Globe that was Brand New! I love that Santa is dressed in a green suit! I think this will be finding a home in my Craft Room during the Holidays!

And look at this great Treasure!!

A Mr. Christmas Melodium that plays 15 Christmas Songs and 15 All Time Classics!

Victorian Dancers!

The rolls used for each song!

Just gorgeous!

This piece I will be keeping out year round as soon as I find a place for it!!

Snow Buddies that I actually do not have!

And some Snow Buddy look a likes!

A neat tree!

For those of you that have visited here during the Holidays, you may remember that I have a lot of Christmas Sets that were sold at Sam's Club back in the early 2000's! They no longer sell these wonderful sets so finding one that I do not have was a special treat!!

This one was sold back in 2001

I love the pastel colors of this set and I think it will be perfect in my Guest Room on my fake fireplace mantle or on the round table!

Well, those are my Christmas Treasures!! I will continue to post All Things Christmas here during the year so I do hope to see you soon!!

The Christmas Spider and Tea Cup Tree!

Welcome to my Christmas Blog to those of you who have not visited here before!

I know it has been some time since I posted on this Blog. Since the end of the last holiday season, I went back to posting on my regular blog, Debbie-Dabble.

I promised to return here , to a Debbie-Dabble Christmas , to show you all things Christmas.

For those that know me, I had 14 Christmas trees in my home last Holiday Season.

I had 5 Valentine's Day's trees and I currently have 2 Easter trees !!

I wanted to keep a tree up year round in my Craft/Sewing Room because I so love the look of the room with a glow of a lit tree!

Last week, I showed you my Summer Tea Cup and Rose Tree on Debbie-Dabble.

But since it is a Christmas tree but decorated for Summer, I thought I would share it with you here.

First I want to tell you the Story of the Christmas Spider.

I received this as a gift from my dear friend, Anne Marie.

Please click to enlarge to read it better.

It is a German and Ukraine custom to have a spider on your Christmas tree.

Here is my lovely spider on my Craft Room Tea Cup and Rose tree.....

It clips on......

Isn't she pretty??

For those of you that read my post about this tree on Debbie- Dabble, I have added some things....

I bought these butterflies and birdie at Micheal's for 60 % off.....

Here is my Tea Cup and Rose Summer Tree.....

At the top, I used white feathers, a sprig of Summer flowers, a bow made from ribbon bought on Clearance last season at Micheal's and a Victorian Doll Head.

There are white lights and silk rose lights on the tree....

I stuck some pink and white silk roses into the tree......

Here is the Birdie and some of the butterflies....

I also used tea cups without saucers as ornaments along with some regular tea pot and tea cup ornaments...

A mouse in a Tea Cup...

A Seed packet ornament.....

A Butterfly clip on ornament bought at Target for 75% off last years for $1.25!

A Tea Cup....

The church trimmed in pink reminds me of a Summer Wedding.....

I had also showed everyone this sweet little girl's dress I bought at Salvation Army for $3.00. I thought it would make a perfect tree skirt......

I did not want to cut and ruin the dress so I turned the bodice inward and wrapped it around the tree stand.....

When I strip this tree and redecorate it for Christmas, I will lift the tree out of the stand on put the dress over the tree stand rather than wrapped around it but since I already had the tree decorated, I couldn't do this now.

I think it made a good tree skirt!!

So that is my updated Summer Craft Room Tea Cup and Rose tree!!

Only goes to show you that you can have a Christmas tree for all seasons and holidays!!

Updated Winter Decorations!

Finally, some snow here in Northeast Pa.!

We had a very light and fluffy snowfall this morning of about 2-3 inches.

When I got home from work this morning I took these pictures of the front of our home.....

To read about my conversion of my Christmas decorations to Winter decorations in the front of our home, please click HERE

They look so much better with a bit of snowy white.....

I think the penguins like the snow....

It is only about 24 degrees here so the snow is not melting any time soon......

I think this Flower Bed looks so much better with a bit of white fluffy snow.....

Love the way the snow looks on the garland with the white lights....

I guess this Penguin finally got what he wanted....

Some scenes from our back yard this morning....

The back yard at night.....

I am one of those rare souls who actually loves winter and snow. I don't ski but I did love to sleigh ride as a kid.
But I am tired of having to drive to work no matter what the roads are like when it snows as hospitals do not give snow days...

I long for the days when I can stay at home and enjoy a fresh fallen snowfall and don't have to drive anywhere in it.....
