Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!
Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!
I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!
The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........
The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........
I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....
I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, WEDNESDAY and FRIDAYS!!!!
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Today, I will be sharing how I decorated my downstairs Powder Room for Christmas and the hallway from the Living Room to the Kitchen......
In my last post, I shared the table vignettes and "mantel" in the Living Room decorated for Christmas in a traditional style.....
Click HERE if you missed that post!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
Just wanted to share my 3rd every day Christmas Tablescape in the Dining Room.......
We eat in our Dining Room every day so it has to be very simple.....
A green Christmas tablecloth with vinyl gold poinsettia place mats that I bought a very long time ago in Bed, Bath and Beyond!!
I replaced the candelabra that I had in the center of the wreath centerpiece with a simple candle holder as I like burning a pine scented candle for most of the day into the evening.....
The next change will be for Christmas Eve Holy Supper which will just be 3 of us as I will be delivering Debbie Door Dash to my son Jim and DIL Danielle as she is resting as much as she can , when not working, so that the twins will be born close to the Target dates and she will get the full 3 months of FMLA off afterward......
I am addicted to enjoying watching Christmas Home Tour on You Tube.....
These are not Cookie Cutter homes where each one looks the same like you see on some of the professional Blogs anymore...
I want to showcase some You Tubers who have really knocked it out of the park this Christmas...
If you love thrifted items and vintage, you will adore Michelle from Youniquely Vintage You Christmas Home Tour!!
Click HERE to see all her vintage Christmas treasures!!
She also shared her sister Cheryl's Home Tour recently.....
They both have been very ill with Covid for several weeks and still managed to decorate their homes....
Another vintage home tour was shared by Angie over at The Bumblebee Farm
Click HERE to see her charming home and adorable Kitchen!!
Another You Tuber that I recently just came across is Kim over at My Fathered Nest!
Kim owns a 100 year old Farmhouse and has a great quirky sense of design and loves Thrifting!!
Click HERE to view her Channel!
I found a lot of my inspiration this year on You Tube watching Decorate with Me videos and Shop with Me videos...
Please give them a "like" and consider subscribing to their Channels like I did!!
I will share more of my favorites in upcoming posts.....
And now, let's take a look at the final room on my Room by Room Christmas Home Tour.....
I hang a wreath on every inside door to match the decorations in each room and this is a wreath I made many years ago for the Powder Room door.... The Christmas color theme of the Powder Room is silver, blue and white....
A stocking that I embellished hangs from the wreath....
Above the door is a flocked swag on which I hung my 2 Trans Siberian Orchestra Anniversary ornaments on....
The blue and black colors of both ornaments go well in this room....
We will be attending the afternoon Concert at the Arena 5 minutes away from our house tomorrow, Thursday, seeing TSO for more than 20 times now....
It is our Christmas Tradition.....
To the left of the door when you walk in.....
On the wall by the sink....
One of a set of 4 silver mercury glass trees....
The main thing I decorate this room with is Snow Buddies by Enesco which are no longer made....
Hanging below the shelf is a snowman pictures that came from Home and Garden Party....
And a plate bought for 99 cents at Salvation Army.....
When we remodeled the Powder Room over 10 years ago, I wanted a medicine cabinet that I could put decorations on top of....
Between the medicine cabinet and a shelf unit on the wall, I hung 2 silver frames that I always have in this room....
I changed out the pictures for 2 Christmas cards....
Remember the penguins that I bought in Big Lot's in October?????
There they are on the top of the shelf........
With more Snow Buddies....
This is Joe's Penguin's Hockey display....
Yes, this figurine is actually titled "Penguin Hockey"!!
I bought the 3 penguin figurines at a Christmas shop in Nazareth, Pa. many years ago when visiting friends who lives there....
Several skates ornaments hang from the shelf.....
Above the commode....
Another mercury glass tree and silver pine cones bought at Dollar Tree....
The estagere in the corner......
I have used this Tree in the Powder Room for well over 10 years now.....
I have to wire it to the estagere and the tole tray that hangs behind it so it does not fall over once decorated because the Snow Buddy Ornaments are heavy even though they are small.....
I added a bow to the top of a candle chandy hanging in the corner......
I topped the Tree with silver branches and a bow.....
There is blue and silver beaded garland on this Tree....
Snow Buddy ornaments....
Silver ball and bird ornaments.....
I tucked Buffalo Snow into the Tree......
And blue and silver berry picks.....
Plus blue icicles....
There are 2 sets of lights on the Tree.....
How it looks with just a set of battery operated Snow Flake lights.....
And with those lights and the blue icicle lights on.....
On the shelf underneath the Tree, I set up a Village scene.....
The 2 white trees with silver ornaments were bought on Clearance last year in Ocean State Job Lot.....
The blue church came from Target many years ago....
A few Santa Snow Buddy figures...
I added a set of cool white lights that always look blue to me to this display.....
I bought this Snow Buddy figurine at a church flea market in the Summer....
The deer came from Target a long time ago....
To the right of the estagere......
Home Interior sconces and shelves are on each side of a wall uni....
A blue bottle brush tree and a silver mercury glass owl......
Ornaments hang from the shelf and on the sconce......
The other 2 silver mercury glass trees on the top shelf of the wall unit.......
They are battery operated to light and have a remote....
This Snow Buddy is titled " Hill Thrill" and reminds me of my sleigh riding days as a child.....
The Snow Buddies on the shelves here all have special meaning to me.....
Top shelf.....
The woman carrying buckets of water to the left reminds me of my Mother insisting upon having a wringer washer and emptying the water from it in buckets by hoisting them up and through a cellar window above the washer.........
The man on the right with the belt of tools is for my Dad....
The 2 in the center are titled "Tea Party" and "Shop til You Drop" commemorating all the Tea's I hosted and attended and my love for shopping......
Bottom shelf......
On this shelf , the one of the left is titled "Remodeling" which I did a lot of in this house.....
The one in the center is titled "Charge" for what Joe loves to do when he goes shopping...... ..
And the one on the right "Oops" because I always say I have fallen in some of the best places....
When I look at this wall unit, I smile because it invokes many special memories....
Under the shelf unit.....
The silver creamer holds Q Tips and the sugar bowl holds cotton balls....
I painted a Dollar Tree frame white and displayed a pretty Christmas card inside of it.....
On the right side of the wall unit....
I hung ornaments on top of the small pictures.....
Hanging above the closet which houses the washer and dryer.....
And that ends the tour of the Powder Room so let's step out in the hallway....
Yep....it is a dark narrow hall way from the Living Room to the Kitchen......
Which makes it very hard to take any decent pictures of.....
A swag hangs above the coat closet......
The space between the closet doors and the Powder Room door....
I replaced the picture that normally hangs above the mirror with this lighted Winter House picture....
I made this simple wreath using a vintage plastic poinsettia......
This year I added a few gold picks to it after removing them from a wreath that I took apart.....
I hung this hand made Santa head, that was gifted to me several years ago by a reader of my Blogs, to the right lower area of the wreath.....
Because I thought it resembled the Santa featured on this ceiling tile tin that I ordered from Ebay about 10+ years ago.....
Over across the hall on the Gallery wall......
Another swag that I made....
Again, I apologize for the lighting.....
And I thought I would share this photo frame on my Gallery wall.....
You can see that clearly, my sons did not like Santa when they were very young....
After 2 years of what I call my Screaming Meamie pictures, I gave up!!
They definitely liked the Easter Bunny better....
And that concludes my Room by Room Tour of our townhouse decorated for Christmas!!
In my next post on FRIDAY, I will be sharing my other house all decked out for Christmas!!
Nelson Crest, my Victorian Doll House!!
