I have many Christmas books including the entire series called The Spirit of Christmas by Leisure Arts.
This series ran from 1987 to 2003 with a new book published every year.
I bought mine on Ebay.
I did share these books on this blog back in 2012 but I have decided to share them again because I LOVE them and I think that even though they are older, you can find inspiration in them!!
I do apologize for the photos because they are from 2012 and were taken with a different camera than I have now but I did not feel like taking the photos over again!!
Each book is divided into 3 sections:
The Sights of Christmas- Decorations
The Sharing of Christmas- Gifts
The Tastes of Christmas- Recipes
These books feature everything you can make by yourself from Decorations to Gifts to Recipes for Cookies, Brunches, Parties and Dinners!!
I am going to be sharing the decorating ideas from these books and in this post, you will be amazed at all the Christmas Eye Candy!!!!

Debbie, thanks for sharing these books! I am putting Book 5 on my wish list. I see that Amazon has many copies on sale for 1¢ each ... plus shipping of course ... from independent sellers.
ReplyDeleteI own a few of the Spirit of Christmas books that I've found at thrift shops, etc. I was happy to see all the photos you shared because it helped me know what each book was like as far as the projects, etc. and make an informed choice. Thank you!!

ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday. This post is being featured on my Pink Saturday post this week as "the one with the most clicks".♥
So many lovely images, Debbie. I love the Christmas Carousel the best, I think. Those soft pinks just make me swoon! I do love the little table top trees as well. Thanks for sharing all this inspiration. I wish I had thought of it sooner, I would have put a little table top tree up and celebrated Christmas in July when my family gets here. They would have loved it! Pity, it's too late now as they will be here very shortly. Thanks for sharing Debbie, and I'll visit again when I get back from my break. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sandi
