I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Christmas Front Yard & Evening Pictures, Christmas Home Tour, 2025

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

  A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS

I enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared how I decorated my Front Porch this year, adding a few new things to create more of a Santa theme...

And also changing a few things from previous years....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

I want to Thank Angie, over at God's Growing Garden, for choosing my blog post,  Angels and "New" Tree in the Upstairs Hall for Christmas, as one of her features from last week's Tuesdays with a Twist Link Party!!

 Thanks so much, Angie!!

Please stop by and link up to this wonderful party!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

Here are some pictures from the Hockey game that my son Joey and I went to last Friday....

I was standing up applauding a tribute to a Veteran.....

Another picture of me on the end of the row, Joey, his friend and former co worker Erin, her friend George, her Mom and Dad....

The office of Parish Life for the Diocese of Scranton is already planning another night of Hockey in March and Joey and I will be going to that game....

I have finished the Dining Room and am now decorating the Living Room and hope to finish it this weekend...

I currently have 13 Trees decorated in the house with possibly 5 more to go, which will be less than other years....

I will start the Kitchen on Monday but there is a chance I will not get it finished by Thanksgiving as I will be hosting my family for Thanksgiving Dinner....

But I am okay with that...

Because of this, I apologize for not getting to respond to comments but I will soon!!!

Today, I am continuing to share how I decorated the front of my house for Christmas and will be sharing the Front Yard.....

As you saw in my last post on the Front Porch, we already had our first dusting of snow!!

I could not resist taking pictures with the snow because snow does make Christmas decorations look a bit more magical!!

So I will be sharing pictures with and without snow in this post....

We will pick up where I left off in my last post....

Next to the Front Porch is a small flower bed under the Living Room window....

Don't you agree how much better snow makes everything look????

I really loved how it looked with the snow....

Okay, so now let's take a closer look without the snow.....

In my last post, I shared that I cut some greenery off the trees on the side of my road to use in my pots in the front of the house....

I cut branches off 3 different types of evergreen trees....

I left out the hooks that solar lanterns hung from and hung a red lantern on the left side.....

And a red jingle bell on the right side......

You may remember that when I fell a few weeks ago, my pant leg got caught in this fence and I hit my eye brow on the spikes of that fence....

When I removed it, I realized that I could have knocked my eye out!!

I should have removed that fence a long time ago.....

I kept out the 2 pots that I planted hostas in, cutting them back....

I filled them with real and faux greenery, holly berry bushes that I bought recently at Ollies and cut apart, 3 birch branches and Dollar Tree candy canes to match the lighted ones on the Front Porch.......

The one to the left of my chippy shabby chic Angel....

2 Dollar Tree Santa Solar lights and a Christmas yard stake in front of the Angel....

The other pot on the right side of the Angel.....

To the right of the flower bed on the retaining wall between my house and my neighbor's.....

In a previous post, I shared that I took apart my old 7 foot Tree that I used in the Dining Room....

This was the bottom part of the Tree....

I placed it in the square pot.....

I think it looks like a shrub, don't you????

I decided not to put greenery in the round pot and just placed this frog on top of it.....

On the day it snowed, this is what the flower bed at the top of my slope looked like.....

After that, I did make a few changes.....

A snowman Dollar Tree solar light.....

I always use greenery around the deer's necks and add a red velvet bow to make them look festive....

I used all real greenery in this pot with a new solar light from Dollar General that was only $1, cheaper than the new Dollar Tree prices.....

A Santa mini flag as I sort of went with a Santa theme for the Front Porch.....

Again, I used both real and faux greenery with holly berry branches in the red watering can....

The park bench.....

In the snow.......

I added another bow on this side of the lamp post.....

I moved this solar light from the porch over to this pot also filled with a combination of greenery ....

I topped the lantern with a plaid bow and surrounded it with greenery.....

I just remembered that I need to put a battery operated candle with a timer in there...

I added a Dollar General solar light to this pot......

To the right of the park bench, I left out my red cardinal wind chimes......

I placed the top of my old Den Tree in this pot, adding a solar light to it.......

In the snow.....

Without the snow.....

I placed my "Angels Gather Here" stepping stone on top of my rusty Angel bird bath....

Another Santa mini flag.....

More faux and real greenery in this pot in the red truck....

And another snow man solar light at this end of the flower bed.....

At Dusk.......

I had to buy a new set of net lights for the shrubs as the ones I had died....

I ordered them from Walmart online....

Did you know that if you place an order for over $35, you get free shipping and do not have to buy a membership????

All my lights are LED warm white and are set on the timer from Dusk til Dawn.....

They also provide a good deterrent to crime as one of the best security measures is outdoor lighting at night....

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I tried to change up the decorations for Christmas on the Front Porch and in the front yard this year....

I am very happy with how it all came out this year!!

I hope you will stop by to visit again on SATURDAY for my next post as I continue my Christmas Home Tour....
