I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Angels & a "New" Tree in the Upstairs Hall, Christmas Home Tour, 2025

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I started my annual room by room Christmas Home Tour here on my Christmas blog by sharing how I decorated my bedroom for Christmas this year along with a few changes that I made to make the room mine after my husband's passing....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

Truth be told, I have the entire upstairs now decorated for Christmas along with the Den, the downstairs Powder Room and I have finished the front porch and outside of the house...

Yesterday, I took a much needed break as I seem to have been moving at the speed of light since Halloween as I like to have all my Christmas decorating done by Thanksgiving Day...

I am grateful that it is a bit later this year, on the 27th, so I can accomplish that...

Yesterday, I helped out with the monthly Sunday breakfast at my church, spending that time with a few good friends.....

Sue, Joanne and on the right is Michelle, one of the church's secretaries and Director of Religious Education at the church....

We purchase all the goodies from a local bakery....

And we have found that grapes are a big hit with both the adults and children!!!

In the afternoon, I hosted my Niece Renae and Great Nieces Caitlin and Carly for some pizza and home made zucchini bread which they enjoy...

My son Joey and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon spent with family!

It was so good to get together and catch up as they are all so busy with school and working....

We are looking forward to a Christmas visit next....

Today, continuing my Christmas Home Tour,  I will be sharing the upstairs hall.....

This is what you see when you are walking up the stairs......

As you look to the right.....

I used to hang garland on the stair railing but as a safety measure, especially before I had my knee replacement surgery, I decided to hang a wreath that I made at the top of the stairs on the railing.....

For the most part, the color theme of the upstairs hall is white and gold with some blue thrown in for good measure.....

I also have an Angel and music theme going on in one area....

A Santa head, which I see I need to adjust , is in the center of the wreath.....

You can also see the "new" Tree that I decided to use here this year....

Looking at it when walking up the stairs....

And looking back at the right side when you get to the top.....

I will come back to this area in a minute.....

This area at the top is decorated in an Angel theme and mainly in gold and white....

When it is not decorated for Christmas, I display my Collection of vintage Lustreware dishes that were made in Japan.....

And what it looks like now.....

 Hanging on a brass sconce....

One of a set of 3 Angels that my late husband Joe bought at a church Flea Market....

An almost aqua like greenery and a bow made from musical note ribbon hangs above the Home Interiors mirror.....

I bought this horn on Clearance last year before Big Lot's closed....

Inside a Home Interiors planter.....

In the corner  on vintage shelves

I did keep out some of the Lustreware pieces....

One of a set of several paper mache Angels that I bought at an estate sale.....

A white lantern with a musical note ribbon bow on top of it....

More Angels.....

I bought this Nativity in Target many years ago....

 Bearington Bears.....

Both gifted to me by my late friend Anne Marie.....

On my 5-7 year post retirement To Do List is stripping that wall paper border off.....

An antique mantel mirror bought at an estate sale with Angels hanging on it....

I made the 2 angels on the sides...

A Home and Garden Party Angel picture....

"Silent Night"

This shelf hung in my late neighbor Elly's downstairs bathroom.....

I decoupaged music sheet paper to the back of a violin bottle....

Vintage looking Angels and Dollar Tree houses that I painted white....

I printed these music sheets, framed them with Christmas card paper frames and adhered them to a picture frame that I backed with black velvet fabric....

On the right side, a tussie mussie that I made....

 Over by my bedroom......

 Hanging above the Tree.....

A piece I crafted hanging on a brass sconce....

New this year, I decided to use a gold tinsel Tree here in the hall.....

Replacing the white branches that I had here for many years and decorated like a Tree......

I decided to use these branches outside on the porch.....

I will be sharing the front porch in a future post....

I decorated this Tree with the Angel ornaments that I made.....

And hung white beaded garland cut in small pieces to look like icicles....

I also used some gold ball ornaments on the Tree....

An Angel I made using a cone covered in music sheet paper to match the ornaments.....

I am very happy that I decided to use this Tree here this year...

On the wall across for the railing.....

Greenery and a bow above another Home Interiors picture....

The wall across from the craft room and sitting room.....

I left out most of the blue Lustreware in this area....

On top of the wall shelf...

Another white lantern and vintage looking Angle figures....

An Angel and gold trees bought on clearance a few years ago in Target....

I bought this vintage shelf in Salvation Army many years ago....

In this area, I used gold sleds, reindeer and churches to "Christmas" it up....

And that is how the upstairs Hall looks for Christmas this year....

All the battery operated candles come on by timer and serve as night lights....

I hope you enjoyed seeing a few changes to this area this year....

And I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY for my next post on my Christmas Home Tour....
