I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Winter Forest Buffet & a Vintage Santa, Chrismas Home Tour, 2025

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared the rest of the Den decorated for Christmas including the China Cupboard....

And the 3rd Tree in the room....

Click HERE if you missed it....

And now for a few Personal Notes...

It is now officially the Christmas Season!!

I took advantage of a nice sunny day on Saturday with temps. in the low 40's.....

I packed up the remainder of the garden and patio things out in the back of the house, moved the furniture and pots against the back of the house and tarped everything.....

I moved my bucket of Ice Melt that I bought on Clearance at the end of last Season , a new Ice Melt shaker bottle, a shovel, a broom and an ice chipper right by the back door to be prepared for the Winter.....

I wasn't going to cover these resin chairs but I had an extra tarp so I thought why not....

With the addition of another storage chest that I bought in the beginning of the Summer, I was able to store most of the Patio and garden things in these 2 chests instead of tubs that I would have to take down my storage shed....

I also moved a shovel, an extra car broom so I can clean my car off before having to open the doors, an ice chipper  and my broom....

And a full shaker bottle of Ice Melt right by the front door...

We are supposed to get anywhere from 2 to 8 inches of snow tomorrow on Tuesday....

As you can see, your guess, and mine, is as good as the forecasters....

I will let you know how much we actually do get....

Today, I am going back into the Dining Room.....

In a previous post, I shared how I decorated the Hutch and the area around it....

Today, I will be sharing how I decorated the buffet a bit differently and a new addition on top of the small curio.....

As I have mentioned many times, my Dining Room is my most Victorian looking room......

For Christmas, I decorate it in a pink, white and gold color theme....

In the corner by the Kitchen.....

A floral swag I made a long time ago......

Sorry the crystalized sage green apples are reflecting....

2 Lenox ornaments and a Lenox Santa.....

An Old World Santa that I bought at a craft fair from a vendor who was retiring....

She only charged me $50.....

I love him....

I have displayed 2 Sam's Club white and gold sets on the buffet for many years....

You can see that they are 25 years old now....

I moved the lighted white branch Tree from the Living Room over into the Dining Room on the buffet....

This year, I was looking to create a Winter snow covered forest look by using several trees all in white....

I decorated the Branch Tree with white snowflakes....

I decided to use the white ceramic tree that I bought last year also on the buffet....

I placed it on a cake stand.....

This year, I did not use any buffalo snow here and just went with white lace scarves and doilies instead to mimic snow....

On the shelf.....

I bought this piece in Big Lot's a few years ago....

I love the flying reindeer.....

A pink mercury glass tree from Micheal's on the shelf and a pink glittered cone tree is below it....

On another pedestal, I displayed this tree and reindeer piece that I also bought in Big Lot's....

The Santa , sleigh and reindeer set in is the center of the buffet.....

I added a few pink ornaments to it...

I also placed the Tree, from the snowmen set, up on another pedestal......

I think I did okay in creating a Winter forest look for this year....

Between the buffet and the hutch is a small curio....

On the Home Interiors shelf above the small curio.....

Is a white mica Angel.....

New this year, I decided to display this beautiful vintage Santa that I recently won as part of a raffle basket from my church in the Summer.....

On top of this small curio......

On each side of the Santa, are 2 figurines that my late friend Anne Marie gifted me.....

Along with 2 brass candlesticks with pink votive cups.....

On the floor in front of the curio......

I bought this paper mache Santa at Salvation Army for $5!!

A floral arrangement around a large pink mercury glass ornament inside of this gold sled.....

The Dining Room is a favorite of mine to decorate for Christmas.......

I hope you enjoyed this post......

And let's all......
