I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Christmas in the Upstairs Bathroom, Christmas Home Tour, 2022

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

I am now posting 3 times a week !!!

I will be posting on TUESDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Today, I am continuing my Christmas Home Tour and will be sharing the upstairs Bathroom decorated in purple.....

In my last post, I shared Christmas in the Master Bedroom where I decorated 2 Trees .....

Each reflecting both mine and Joe's interests and passions....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

Thanks Dee, over at Grammy's Grid, for choosing my post, Fall/Halloween Home Tour, as one of her feature's from Last week's Unlimited Link Party!!

 Thanks so much, Dee!!

Please stop by and link up to this party and also to the other ones that Dee hosts!!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

We have been having unseasonably warm weather with high temps. in the 70's!!

So I took advantage of it and packed away all my Fall/Halloween decorations in the front of the house and decorated it for Christmas....

I have decorated the outside in temps. in the 30's too many times in the past....

Here is a sneak peak as I made new wreaths for the windows and front door and changed all the bows to plaid.....

Truth be told, I am also almost done decorating the Powder Room too.....

I am on a mission to be done before Thanksgiving which is early this year, on November 24th....

On November 4th, which would have been Joe's Mother's 89th Birthday, Joe won $1000 on a Lottery Ticket.....

After I posted about it on Face Book, Joe's cousin mentioned that it was also her MIL's birthday, which was Joe's mother's twin sister.....

And since Aunt Theresa was his Godmother, Joe ran out and bought an additional $20 worth of lottery
tickets and GUESS WHAT????

He won another $200!!!

Valley Mart, where he buys his Lottery Tickets will only be open for another 2 weeks and then will shut down so a brand new Sheetz can be built in it's place so I guess these were Joe's last Wins there.....

At least he is getting his money back!!!

It will be the end of an Era as when it was owned by the previous owner, both my sons started working there at the age of 15, as soon as they could get their working papers.....

I think Joe will be going into withdrawal....

Today, I am sharing how I decorated the upstairs Bathroom for Christmas....

I hang a wreath on every inside door which reflects the color theme of that room.....

Purple and gold is the color theme of the Christmas decorations in the Bathroom....

Now our upstairs bathroom is very small....

Our downstairs Powder Room is actually bigger....

I call it the smallest bathroom known to man.....

Directly to the right when you walk in is a small vanity......

Next to it is the toilet and the tub/shower runs along the back wall....

So how would I possibly decorate this tiny room for Christmas let alone fit a Christmas Tree in it....

On the shelf unit above the toilet.....

 Yep!

For several years now, I have decorated a 2 foot Tree and placed it high on the shelf unit above the toilet......

I topped it off with a bow made from gold and purple ribbon....

I decorated it with green, purple and gold ornaments....

I also have 2 Bird ornaments on the Tree....

On the left, is a purple glass vase filled with gold poinsettias....

I bought the purple putz house in JoAnn's a few years back....

A few purple ornaments...

And I simply added gold berries to the purple votive on a brass candle holder....

There are 2 sets of battery operated lights on the Tree....

I use a lot of ornaments with purple in them as they are small instead of bigger decorations.....

The only other place that I could possibly decorate is the small area around the sink.....

 More ornaments.....

I used the built in soap dish and toothbrush/cop holder as shelves....

Changed the florals out in this small purple vase....

A Dollar Tree gold tree with a purple velvet ribbon bow I added to it....

The hydrangea sign and purple ribbon is displayed here year round....

I was lucky enough to pick up these 2 purple bottle brush trees in Dollar Tree recently......

I placed them inside of votives bought a long time ago in Dollar Tree....

One green......

And one purple......

By just adding a few simple festive touches, you too can create Christmas in a tiny room......

 Even a Bathroom......

The Upstairs Bathroom took 1 Day to decorate....

On TUESDAY, I will be continuing my Christmas Home Tour and sharing the upstairs hall way where I added a few new things.....

  1. Girl you are on a roll! Love that purple and gold. I am just putting out some Thanksgiving pilgrims etc. Will be setting up my tree soon so it can fluff out or down, depending on how I threw it in the box. Will decorate later but when I feel good I have to get some stuff done. Happy Saturday, Betsy

  7. I love the combination of the purple and the gold! It reminds me so much of the tree (and decorations!) that my husbands aunt always used each Christmas.
