I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

A Pink Victorian Christmas in the Dining Room, 2020

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

I want to mention that since Blogger changed to a new format for posting, if you can click on each picture if you care to enlarge it......

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

Today, I will be sharing my Pink Victorian Christmas decorations in the Dining Room......

I was going to do it in 2 posts but decided not to so grab a seat, maybe a cup of Tea or hot chocolate because this post is going to be a bit long.....

First, I want to Thank, Angie, over at God's Growing Garden, for choosing my Vintage Christmas Faux Fire Place, as one of her features from last week's Tuesday's with a Twist Linky Party!!

Thanks so much, Angie!!!

Please stop by and link up to this wonderful party!!

Since this post will be long, the only thing else I want to share is that I continued a tradition that I grew up with.....

Making Turkey soup the day after Thanksgiving like my Dad always did on Black Friday....

I gave the boys theirs as they do enjoy the soup I make......

And NO!

I did not go out shopping on Black Friday......

I stopped doing that I long time ago when it was no longer enjoyable to do so as it became very cut throat and even dangerous at times the way people behaved.....

And especially, during this Pandemic, I would never put myself and my family in danger by going out shopping on Black Friday like so many people did regardless of what the CDC precautions are.....

Shame on them!!!

Okay, let me get down off my soap box......

My Dining Room, as I have said many times before, is my most Victorian looking room......

I keep the color theme of pink and add white and gold to it for Christmas in the Dining Room......

Last year, I decided to move the led lighted branch Tree into the Dining Room from the Living Room for Christmas......

I do decorate it with just some white snow flakes.....

In the corner by the buffet........

I hung a swag that I made many years ago over the Home Interiors Fan picture.......

On a small gold shelf.......

Is a Lenox Santa that was a gift......

In the corner on the floor...

On a pedestal is a home made Santa that I bought at a Craft Fair......

I LOVE the embossed roses in his pink velvet robe.......

Initially, I could not find the flowers that I had used previous years in my funeral basket that I decorate for each Holiday so I did another arrangement for it....

When I did come across it, I decided to adjust it a bit to fit in this jar candle holder......

Gold embroidered stockings, which were also gifts, hang on the handles of the doors of the buffet......

In keeping with the white, gold and pink theme, I decorated the buffet using 2 sets bought many years ago at Sam's Club.........

You can see that I also changed out a picture for a pink Santa Claus one behind the Tree.......

I used a gold cake stand to elevate the Tree from the Snow Man set........

Father Snow Man with one of the children......

Also a pink mercury glass tree bought at Michael's.......

In the center.....

On another shelf, is one of 2 white and gold Santa's bought at Burlington one Christmas on Clearance......

And a pink mercury glass votive.....

In the center of the buffet, is the Santa set.....

I also took the gold LED branch Trees that I usually used in the Living Room and placed one here on the buffet.......

You will see the other one a bit later in this post......

You can see that I scattered pink ornaments through out the display......

And green bottle brush trees and buffalo snow and a few snow balls.....

I also have a battery operated light set woven through the display......

The gold trees with the stars on top were also bought at Burlington one year after Christmas......

Last year, I decided that instead of packing up my hurricane lamp like I used to when I did my Halloween decorating, that I would leave it out......

A lot less work that way too!!

Mother Snow Man or Woman, I should say, with one of the children mailing a letter to Santa!!!

A pink cone tree that I bought at Big Lot's is behind her......

I love these white and gold sets......

And I am pleased to say that when it is time to pass them on, my Great niece Cortney will gladly take them.....

Between the buffet and the hutch, is a small curio......

A shelf hangs above it on the wall......

One of a set of 3 mica Angels......

On top of the curio......

A pink mercury glass votive......

A white and gold putz house bought at Big Lot's a long time ago.....

The vintage styled children are from a set of 12 ornaments that I bought on EBay in the Summer many years ago for a mere $9.99!

That year, closer to Christmas, the same set sold for over $50!!

I added a few pink ornaments to the inside of the curio......

On the floor in front of the curio is a paper mache Santa bought at Salvation Army for $5!!!

Did I mention that I actually sprinted cross the store when I saw him from a distance!!!

And I recently did the arrangement in the gold sled......

The hutch.....

Last year, I moved my original Home Interiors Nativity set that I bought the very first Christmas that we were married, 42 years ago, back over here to the top of the hutch  where I displayed it for many years......

An angel ornament hangs in the corner above it.......

I added 2 Home Interiors angels to it.....

The pink church was bought in Target one year for $5 at 75% off after Christmas......

On the side of the hutch......

Hanging on the window divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room......

A wreath that I made......

New this  year is the addition of this gold tinsel Tree.....

At Halloween, I decided to move the large Victorian doll that is here normally and use the hat boxes that she stood on as a "table"

I decided to do the same thing for Christmas and move this Tree in here from the Living Room......

I topped it with a pink bow and a pink star and tucked a few white sparkly baby's breath picks into the Tree......

I clipped a few pink bird ornament to it....

There is a Department 56 Snow Baby ornaments hanging on the Tree....

I covered the hat boxes with a white table topper and then placed a pink lace one over it......

On a mirror, is Department 56 Snow Babies......

On the soffit between the Dining Room and the Living Room....

I replaced a picture with this Christmas sign.....

In this corner is my 7 foot pencil Tree......

On the floor......

The Santa was bought at Big Lot's and the manger was bought at J.C. Penney's.....

The Tree is also decorated in pink, white and gold......

A pink very Victorian looking stocking hangs on the window divider.....

Since this Tree just fits in the corner here under the soffit, I made a floppy bow to top it with......

This Tree is decorated in Victorian style ornaments that I have collected over 20+ years.....

I tucked picks of sparkly white baby breath into the Tree.....

Next to the Tree hanging on the wall is a clock that Joe gifted to me, bought at J.C. Penney's.....

I hung a few angel wing ornaments on it.....

Next to the Tree on a marble topped plant stand is another pink Santa....

This one I bought for $5 at a church Flea Market.....

I hung the same pink angel wing ornaments from the sconces......

The other 2 mica angels

In the corner by the Kitchen is a larger curio.....

On a shelf on the side of the curio is the other white and gold Santa.....

The top of the curio.....

A pink angel placed in a vintage white milk glass compote for elevation and the other gold led lighted branch tree........

The pink "Sitting" Santa was gifted to me.....

Angel wings and a bow added to the top of the curio....

Pink ornaments placed inside the curio to add a bit of Christmas.....

My funeral basket that I decorate for each Season.....

A new arrangement that I did this year using white branches that i bought at Micheal's at 90% off......

Those green berries are actually not lime green like they look in the photos.....

The basket sits on a vintage marble topped table.....

More of those Victorian styles ornaments.....

There is a lighted LED branch inside the basket also....

The pass through between the Kitchen and Dining Room that I made into a window......

I hung a piece of stained glass to block view of the Kitchen.....

And hung curtains to make it look like a window.....

I made the wreath......

On the small cabinet that my Dad made to look like Joe's Grandmother's Dining Room furniture..........

Hurricane lamps were bought in Salvation army.....

The crystal vintage compote was bought at a church flea market.....

This sweet family of figurines were gifted to me last year by my friend, Anne Marie.....

The putz houses are ornaments.....

I decorated the chandy with white chandy and pink ball ornaments.....

Since we eat dinner on our Dining Room table daily......

I just have a simple green tablecloth ( which I still need to iron) , pink poinsettia place mats and the new candle arrangement that I made this year as the center piece.....
