First , I want to Thank Christine, over at Must Love Home, for featuring my post, A Magnificent Wreath, from last week's Friday Favorites Party!!
Thank so much , Christine!!
I am thrilled to say that this year, I was able to decorate the entire house like I wanted to from top to bottom!!
How many Trees total for this year???????
Well, I am actually still decorating so the final count is not in yet but there are 7 decorated Trees upstairs!!
This year, I am doing things differently than I have in the past. I usually start Our Tour with the Outside of our townhouse but since I am beginning the Tour early this year, I am starting with the upstairs first and will end with the Outside of our house.
I finished decorating the upstairs before Halloween!!
I am kicking off our Annual Christmas Home Tour in the Master Bedroom, which I have not decorated for Christmas since 2012!
This is how it looked then when I used this 4 1/2 foot Tree over in the corner of the Bedroom......
I had called this the Tree of my Childhood because of the vintage Shiny Brite ornaments, silver tinsel and the village underneath the Tree created with some of my parent's Plasticville pieces and Putz houses.
This year, I got rid of the large table, which was a white resin patio table covered with a tablecloth.
I wanted to create a little reading area for myself in this corner since I am now Part Time and hope to be able to spend some time Reading.
This is how this corner of our Bedroom looks now......
Here is my Reading Corner.....
If you missed my post on how I transformed this table that was on the side of one of the dumpsters in our townhouse development, please click HERE
You can see that I no longer had any room for that larger Tree.
It found a home with my son Jim and his girlfriend, Danielle!!
I had moved this table, which was once on the side of my bed ,over here next to the TV entertainment center.
I decided to use one of a set of 2 Trees that I bought at Big Lot's 2 years ago on Thanksgiving Day that only cost $19.99 !!!
This is one of 2 Trees in our Bedroom..........
I have my Tree and Joe has his Tree........
I decided that I would decorate my Tree with Victorian style ornaments........
I used a bow made from pink and gold shimmery ribbon as a topper, along with peacock feathers.......
I also added streamers of the same ribbon......
The ornaments on this Tree are Purses.......
Things a Victorian Lady would have in her bedroom like a Vanity, a pretty Chair and Dress Forms!!
Also Gloves......
And Hats....
Shoes and Umbrellas........
And some mini ornaments.....
Victorian Ladies......
Who like pretty Dresses!!
And around the Tree on the table........
A Pretty Doll Head.....
Gloves and Pearls......
After Christmas, I think I will spray paint the urn white......
A Hat Box........
A Tea Cup and A Tea Bag..........
So this is Tree # 1 ..........
And of course, lit up at night!!
Joe is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.........
We also are Season Ticket Holders for the AHL Wilkes Barre-Scranton Penguins who play at the Arena which is 5 minutes from our home!!
This is the one place in the house that is Joe's!!
I painted shelves bought at yard sales and flea markets to display Hockey Pucks and Bobble Heads......
I painted frames black and framed Sports Memorabilia.......
I even made him his own Team Chair a few years ago!!
Penguins on the back.......
Steelers on the front!!
It's only fitting that he too would have his own Tree!!
This is Joe's Tree and it is Tree #2!!!
I have this small Tree on top of the roll top desk, decorated with Pittsburgh Penguin and Steeler ornaments.....
I made a bow out of red burlap ribbon for the top.......
Hung a thin red beaded garland that I cut into strands on the Tree......
There are 2 strands of battery operated mini Led Warm White lights on the Tree.......
Penguin Stockings........
And a Penguin Santa.......
More ornaments......
Even a Hockey playing Snowman.........
And that is how our bedroom looks , decorated for Christmas!!
With my Tree.........
And Joe's Tree......
Trees # 1 and 2!!
Now what did I do with all those vintage Shiny Brite ornaments???????
I used them in other rooms like in the Guest Room..........
And the putz houses too!
Next up on our Christmas Home Tour is the Upstairs Bathroom.........
Please Click HERE to see the Upstairs Bathroom decorated for Christmas!
On Debbie-Dabble, I posted a Mini Christmas Home Tour of the Downstairs and Upstairs.
Please Click HERE and HERE if you missed those posts!!
Also, all parts of my Christmas Home Tour 2015 , are posted on my Side Bar. Just click on the pic for each Part to see!!
I hope you will come by and visit again!!
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Debbie, All your things are so beautiful. Decorations in every room . I like that you made a sports corner for your husband. Painting the shelves and frame black helps. I have to say that the tree from your childhood was the one that touched my soul. I love it. Blessings to you and your husband for a wonderful Thanksgiving day, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty and Victorian! Have a blessed Thanksgiving. Lynn
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet for remembering Joe! I am a sorts fan and hockey is my favorite sport to see live. When I was in Michigan I went to Wings games regularly.
ReplyDeleteLove your trees. You are really getting me primed for decorating. If I decorated as extensively as you guys, I'd start in July! I don't know how you get it all done.
WOW Debbie, I can't believe all the beautiful ornaments you have and so coordinated. I thought that I was doing good with 4 trees and I am exhausted. I am working on my Christmas Village and hopefully will get it finished tomorrow and then I can get all the tubs in the garage and clean the house. I need to do some Thanksgiving baking so want the deck clear for that.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
Hugs,
Mary
I love your decorations especially all the beautiful Victorian things. I'm not decorating here because I won't be home for Christmas, but I will share some of my Christmas collections, santas, nutcrackers, snowmen before I leave. Thanks for visiting my blog. I enjoy seeing all your beautiful things. xo
ReplyDeleteHello Debbie, I am glad to see a Pittsburgh tree for your hubby Joe.
ReplyDeleteThe guys like having their favorite things displayed too. I did a New England Patriots tree for my darling Kevin a couple of years ago and he loves it! I am looking to add some new decorations to it this year.
Happy Monday
Karen
All so pretty and so nice Joe has a tree too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
Blessings,
Cindy
Victorian Dream....that's what you should name your tree! It's just gorgeous! I loved all the close ups of the different ornaments you have on it. It's so sweet of you to make a side for Joe's Christmas decor. H has one of the guest bedrooms filled with the things he loves to collect. I haven't done a post on his room in a long time...maybe I should! Have a blessed Thanksgiving...hugs...
ReplyDeleteGreat tour. I love your bedroom. I don't know if I commented but ya'll did a great job on the table. What a handy man he was! He deserved a side of the room all decorated! Your sweeter than me! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your tree. All the Victorian ornies sure are beautiful!
I'm still decided if I'm doing a Christmas tour. I should since I've done it a couple of years but to tell you the truth I'm not 'feeling the Love'. The Fall tour was so hard to get noticed. I'm not real into it right now. I'll probably change my mind. I'll for sure do a couple of features and share your beautiful home for sure.
Thanks for asking and for coming over!
Have a great week.
Don't eat too much turkey!
Everything looks so beautiful! My of my, where do you get the energy??
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Debbie, I love your Victorian tree and Joe's tree is pretty cute too. I have that same pink and gold ribbon which I used on my tree a couple of years ago. I have since changed my colour theme. Still love the pink though. Thanks for sharing at No Place Like Home and Happy Thanksgiving, my friend!
ReplyDeleteAutumn blessings,
Sandi
Beautiful Victorian Tree, you found some great ornaments for it. I do love the tall skinny trees they have now for those tight spaces, when we had to purchase another tree we went with a slimmer tree too. That is Great Joe has his own area, I think that is very important when the house is very girly :) His whole area is so cool and so neat that you put work into it, bet that makes it extra special for him
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful Victorian tree and I smiled when I saw Joe's sports-themed tree! I salute you for your fortitude in Christmas decorating! This year was the first time that I put up 2 trees (with my mom's assistance) and I was tired afterwards. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThe pink tree is so romantic and victorian...gorgeous! The gloves, the purses, the little bags are such beautiful. Very nice the tree of your childhood. How sweet of you to make a side for Joe!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Alessandra
You always go all out for the holidays, I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello Debbie,
ReplyDeleteWow! You never cease to amaze me! Your Christmas spirit overflows! Each tree is wonderful. Your Victorian tree is stunning! All those amazing ornaments and all your lovely touches! I am totally feeling the spirit now : )
Oh wow, Debbie! How beautifully decorated! The ornaments on your first tree are just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty in the soft glow of the lights too!
Have a wonderful time!
I love your Victorian theme tree, Debbie - it looks beautiful, and I'm impressed that you have more than one tree - it's all I can do to decorate one tree!
ReplyDeleteLove that pink, "girlie" tree! Thanks so much for sharing at Something yo Talk About!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays, Debbie!
Merry Christmas Season Debbie! What a pleasure it has been to read your post and see the incredible tree Victorian tree that you put together. I'm in awe! And then to see Joe's corner, I love that you decorated a tree for him as well. I love the little table makeover that you shared. You and Joe make quite a team. Wishing you and your lovely family a wonderful Thanksgiving and a joyful Holiday Season! Thank you for sharing at Brag About It!

Dearest Debbie, do you ever just sit and enjoy your beautiful home? You amaze me with ALL that you do and you put me to shame {{smiles}} You must have energy like a 5-year-old.

Thank you for sharing all your cute trees at Christmas Inspirations Linky Party!!! You certainly don't lack creativity and each tree is a little masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, well, it's a good thing you're part-time, so you can have that much more time to dabble up your abode! Your MBR decor is absolutely a his and hers emporium! I love your slim, little Victorian tree - perfect next to your chair, and it makes the spot that much cozier. Happy December!

Debbie,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for always sharing your beautiful home and wonderful ideas every week at Simple & Sweet Fridays. I'll be featuring you this week. I had a little problem with the computer this morning, it's all fixed now.
Thanks again,
Hugs,
Jody
I love your Victorian tree, Debbie. All of the ornaments and decor are gorgeous. Surrounding it with other Victorian style items gives the space a perfect look. Joe's corner is fun, too! We have a sports room in our upstairs den and we do a 4 ft tree with our favorite teams, too. It's always a fun one to put up. Thanks for sharing your creativity at Snickerdoodle Sunday.
