I LOVE ornaments !!
That is why I have so many Trees!!!!
7 done upstairs and 5 done downstairs and counting!!
I went to Michaels the other day and almost all of their Christmas merchandise was 40% off and I had coupon for an additional 25% off including what was on sale!
I look for ornaments that reflect the Spirit of a Nostalgic Christmas......
Here is what I bought at Michaels.......
These are shatterproof ornaments........
I thought they would look good with the other candle ornaments that I already use to decorate the Living Room Tree to create a Victorian look.....
These red and white candle ornaments were bought at Penney's several years go.....
Here are the red ones on the Living Room Tree....
You can see how they look on the Tree with the other ones....
You can see I also have gold ones.......
And this year, I even used a ribbon with candles on it for the Bow Topper on the Tree and in other areas of the Living Room.....
This pretty cardinal ornament is also displayed on the Living Room Tree.....
And I did not even use this one as an ornament......
See it??
Look at these beauties!!!
I loved them.......
2 of them are displayed on the Dining Room Tree.......
The blue one will be used in the Powder Room.....
Isn't this one sweet????
Love her cute face.......
And these........
These will be used upstairs on the Guest Room and the Craft Room Trees.....
These will be used on the Kitchen Tree.....
I also bought some ornaments in Big Lots.....
They have rose ornaments!!!!
These gold ones found a home on the Dining Room Tree......
And I also bought red rose ornaments.......
They are on the Living Room Tree and will also be used for Valentine's Day.....
I also bought more of these pink glitter floral sprays to add to the ones that I bought last year.....
And twig sprays that I used as part of a Topper on the Dining Room Tree.....
At Sam's Club, was a set of 5 gold beaded Flameless Candles that can be used with a timer.
I used them in the Living Room as part of my Fall decorations and this is where I decided to use them to decorate for Christmas.......
I put the larger one in the apothecary jar, rather then filling it with ornaments like other years.....
And here on the shelves on each side of the hutch.....
I have now finished decorating the Living Room and the Dining Room and will be starting the Kitchen next.....
Here are a few more Snippets of the Living Room.........
Yes, there are 2 Trees in the Living Room .........
I am pretty sure I will have the whole house decorated by Thanksgiving which is my target date and then I can sit back and enjoy the Season and maybe do a bit more Christmas crafting!!

Everything looks terrific, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteEvery thing is looking beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I love your carolers. Found some in moms things and already set out. More muted shades than yours but hold a lot of memories for me.
I have just managed a few things. We are going to hit the outside today. High 50's and no rain. Sun is shining and is beautiful outside.Told George we better get it done now while our weather holds. Rain moving in a cooler weather again starting Tuesday. Had snow flurries on Friday.
Looking forward to see all your decorations.
Also thank you the thoughts you shared on my blogs. It means a lot.
Hugs.
I had to giggle when I saw your little fairy angel girl...I bought her a couple of weeks ago at Michaels for my sunroom Christmas fairy garden. I bought the little girl figure in your next photo last year, she was in a vignette on top of the tv armoire! Great minds think alike huh! hugs...
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I love all those wonderful ornaments...but the Santa living room set up...is adorable beyond words. I love it. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI especially love the cardinal ornament, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
Blessings,
Cindy
Oh, Debbie, everything looks so pretty! Love your new finds! You always decorate so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
This is amazing -- and you hope to have all your Christmas decorations up by Thanksgiving. You're a better woman than I. But I really like the cardinal and Putz houses in those small cloches. So sweet. I saw your link at Cindy's Amaze Me Monday party. Ann Marie @ Iris Abbey www.irisabbey.com
ReplyDeleteI just adore those mini houses in the glass type domes. Always enjoy the inspiration and sharing of your many trees. Keep on decorating!
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing! I'm not even thinking about Christmas until after I host Thanksgiving for 21 or so. Love the vintage tree and the new pieces you have chosen! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYou always spend so much detail on the little things! So fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!
lovely bits of Christmas, all are so lovely xo
ReplyDeleteAll the Christmas ornaments are so pretty!!! I love especially the sweet little pink girls...so cute!
ReplyDeleteHugs

Love the carollers, Debbie. I have a little fairy with that same sweet face as yours with the pink wings. You have so many cute pieces and no one decorates like you, my friend. You know, for years my friends used to tease me about having the tree up so early and the music playing but you have me beat. Christmas really is cause to celebrate! Thanks for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteAutumn blessings,
Sandi
Great job, Debbie! I'm impressed that you're able to put up a dozen (!) Christmas trees while working full-time! Of course, my favourite ornaments were tea-themed: the cute yellow teacup and teapot photo frame.
ReplyDeleteYou inspire. I need to stop into Micheals more often. I pass it every day. At Pier One and World Market. I bet I could find some treasures.
ReplyDeleteWe went thrifting Sat. I think we have most of what we need for the patio now. I'm going to try and start on lights this week.
Thanks for sharing your Beautiful Christmas!
It is a Christmas wonderland, Debbie! So many beautiful ornaments! So enchanting :) I love the little houses in the domes. Everything is lovely. xo Karen
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love all your different uses of the ornaments not just for your trees. That little scene where Santa is reading to the kids is just the cutest ever!
ReplyDeleteYou always find the best things Debbie! I am glad you are working less and able to enjoy your decorating!
ReplyDeleteYou found so many beautiful things, Debbie! And I also enjoyed seeing your glittery houses on the crafting post. One of these days I am going to make some putz houses. I have been saving cardboard for years! I always think I'll get to it after Christmas, but I never do. Your painted dollar store houses (for 50¢!) are also lovely. You did a great job on them. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAmazing!Love all your ornaments and decor. Yes! Get everything done and ENJOY!
ReplyDeleteEverything is beautiful Deb! I especially enjoyed seeing the tiny houses...they remind me of ones my parents use to create a village scene under their tree. However I think the carolers are one of my favorites. Looking forward to the rest of your Christmas tour and crafts.

Dorene @ Seasonal Chapters
Your trees and home are full of sparkle and Christmas spirit. I see you like birds and angels on your trees too.
ReplyDeleteHere I was sitting with my nose an inch from the monitor screen enjoying the detail on your living room tree. The H walks in and looks and me and says, "Are you in a trance?"
ReplyDeleteHaha. A happy Christmas trance!
Happy Pink Saturday! I couldn't resist taking another peek at the way you use the gold snow flakes, and the candy cane candles. Love them.
I love all your decorations and it makes me want to get busy with mine! Lovely! Thanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty
ReplyDeleteDebbie,
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your decorating talent! So many wonderful finds! Your pictures are gorgeous and as usual, I enjoyed every minute of my visit! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving! And thank you for sharing with us at Snickerdoodle Sunday!
~Laurie
No wonder you start so early---12 trees and counting??? crazy in a good way, Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous collections! Sandi
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I love Christmas as well, it's by far my favourite time of year and so magical! Your house sure is full of detail and thoughtful decorations for this special time! Wow! I wish I had the room to put up so many Christmas trees! Maybe I will put one in my girls bedroom though, they would love that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Share it Link Party this week!
Deb, your Christmas decor is so festive! I think the Victorian Santa tree is my favorite--stunning! Thanks for sharing @Vintage Charm! Blessings, Cecilia
ReplyDeleteDeb, you have so many gorgeous ornaments and your new purchases are wonderful as well. I met my sis and friend today and I saw that ornament with the bird. Loved it, but resisted. I don't know how you do so many large trees. They are a lot of work. I only do two large ones and then have a few smaller ones. I've started playing with all the candy décor in my basement and am having so much fun! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Debbie,
ReplyDeletehow can you already be so 'ready for Christmas' I am still eating the turkey leftovers here with Thanksgiving still lingering and it will be for another week...
