I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Purple Christmas Bathroom & a HUGE Christmas Haul, October Rudolph Day, 2026

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared my Powder Room decorated for Halloween in pink and black.....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

I want to Thank Andrea, over at the Cottage Market, for choosing my blog post, Halloween Front Porch and Yard, as one of her features from last week's A Morning Cup of Joe Link Party!!

 Thanks so much, Andrea!!

Please stop by and link up to this lovely party!!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

For the New Year, I am trying something different with my 3 times weekly posts....

On THURSDAYS, I will feature what I cooked and ate during the week, showcasing local cuisine and a few recipes for things that I actually made...

I decided that on SATURDAYS, I will showcase What I Have Been Up To in the past week, sharing events and places I went to, if any....

On MONDAYS, I will be featuring What I Have Bought or Been Gifted Recently, if anything...

Since it is SATIURDAY, I wanted to share the Ministry Fair at my church, Saint Maria Goretti, this past weekend......

Tables were set up for the different Ministry Groups with representatives of each .....

Young at Heart Senior Social Group....

Community Group....

I represented the Community Group

Prayer Group, Rosary Group, Bible Study and Faith Formation...

Service Group...

My friends and fellow members of the Community Group served Sunday morning breakfast after the 2 Masses on Sunday.....

Joanne and Suzie.....

We now partner with a parishioner who owns The Front Porch Bake Shop and generously gives us a 50% off discount.....

Susan made a cookie tray, oatmeal mini cream pies,.....

Brownies.....

Apple pie and biscoff cupcakes.....

A Breakfast Danish Tray that I ordered from Sam's Club....

Bagels from a local Bakery, Bakery Delite......

More bagels with cream cheese and butter......

And grapes I also ordered from Sam's Club.....

The fair was pretty well attended and we signed up several people for most of the groups....

This was a busy week for me as I had both a Dr.'s and hair cut appointment and also attended a beautiful Taize Service at my church and helped serve refreshments afterward, which was what was left over from the Ministry Fair that we froze right afterward....

My yearly Dr.'s appointment went well with my Blood work being the best it has been in years and I lost 10 pounds since last year's visit....

I always said work was killing me.....

HAPPY RUDOLPH DAY!!!!!

Rudolph Day is celebrated the 25th of each month......

Most will share something to do with Christmas on Rudolph Day....

For October's Rudolph Day, I want to share a Dollar General Christmas Haul.....

All of these ornaments were only a DOLLAR!!

Yes, cheaper than Dollar Tree....

 Cute Gingerbread people....

 Sweet donuts.....

Owls.....

2 gold pine cones for a buck.....

2 snowmen and a cute Mrs. Claus....

Metal red cardinals.....

A Gingerbread spoon rest for $2.99....

These LED lights were only $5 each....

I love these pink LED lights because they actually look pink and not purple when lit up....

I stripped down my Victorian Lady Tree in my Bedroom which now is up year round and added these lights to it....

I will be sharing this Tree and more Christmas decorations in my Bedroom in November when I start my annual Christmas Home Tour for 2026....

I had a $5 off $25 coupon that I used for all of this!!

On another trip to Dollar General, I found these.....

 These were all $1.....

I bought only these so I would get a $5 off $25 coupon as there were more things that I saw that I wanted....

I went back today and bought this.....

All of these things were only $1each.....

Gingerbread house oven mit and pot holder.....

Gingerbread ramekins....

These trees have a suede like finish to them....

 A red cardinal mug.....

I bought 2 more of these metal red cardinal ornaments as I am going to decorate the tree in the corner of my front porch with them....

 These items were $3 each.....

I bought the Post Office because my late husband was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service....

These trees are actually an iridescent pink....

And these 2 sets of lights I will be using on the garland around my front door as the old ones are only half working right now........

I got my hair cut at J.C. Penney's this past week and found this beauty after seeing it on a Shop with Me "You Tube" Video....

A pink mercury glass tree from the Martha Stewart collection......

And it lights up!!!

50% off took it down to $24.99 and I had a 10% off coupon which brought it down to $22.49....

I also happened to see this......

A London Fog velvet like throw which is a perfect color for my bedroom.....

For only $8!!!

It is so soft!!!

I received a coupon in an email for 15% off at Ollies.......

And after watching this "Shop with Me" You Tube Video by one of my favorite You Tube personalities, The Queen.....

I thought I would go and check things out......

I loved these vintage style bottle brush trees for only $3.99!!

These sets of 2 towels in each set were only $2.99

I loved these for $2.49...

These I will put away for Winter decor after Christmas.....

And since I have a thing with red cardinals, I could not resist this.....

A gorgeous throw for $9.99.....

Again, everything was an additional 15 % off with my coupon.....

I ordered a few things from Walmart......

A new flocked wreath for the Sitting Room which I will be decorating....

It was $13.99 which was the cheapest I could find for a 24 inch flocked wreath....

These are Mr. Christmas lighted ceramic tree ornaments for $5.97 each....

And 3 packages of 9 ft. basic evergreen garland....

$3.98 each.....

Since I am keeping the evergreen garland out year round around my front door to use as a base for other seasonal garlands, the weather elements are starting to take a toll on it so I am going to add these pieces to it to refresh it a bit....

Sam's Club is now linking the Sam's Club Plus membership with the Walmart+ membership....

If you already paid for the Walmart + one and have a Sam's Club Plus one, you will be reimbursed.....

I know this is more than I have bought in a long time but I am a sucker for Christmas items and I pretty much bought everything I saw that I liked on the "Shop with Me" You Tube videos so I do not think tat I will be buying much more.....

I have now finished decorating the upstairs for Christmas..

I am right on schedule so that I have the entire house, both inside and out, decorated either before or shortly after Thanksgiving so I can sit back and enjoy the Christmas Season....

It took me 9 days this year to get the upstairs done, which is less than usual, because I just changed around the decorations in the Craft Room, which were already up..

So since I already shared how I redecorated my Craft Room for Christmas, I thought that I would share my upstairs Bathroom decorated in purple and green for Christmas.....

I have decorated the Bathroom in this color scheme for many years.....

I refreshed this wreath that I made a long time ago.....

I was gifted this pretty peacock ornament by my nieces.....

And this ornament was gifted to me by a friend that passed away a while ago....

This is a very small bathroom and I often call it "the smallest bathroom known to man".....

It is hard to take pictures in here so I apologize.....

This ornament, hanging on the towel bar, was also gifted to me by a friend.....

On top of the cabinet above the toilet.....

I have decorated this flea market Tree with purple and green ornaments and gold poinsettias....

There are 2 sets of battery operated lights on it.....

A few purple ornaments.....

I covered this shelf unit with paintable wallpaper, anaglypta, that I stained.....

I also added a rope like wood molding, that I stained , to it....

I hung 2 ornaments from the door knobs on the doors....

I added a few ornaments to the shelves....

The sink area.....

Two ornaments also hanging from the brass sconce.....

I do not use the tooth brush and soap dish on the tile wall so I placed a small purple vase , that I filled with some florals and a gold cone tree from Dollar Tree on them.....

I placed purple bottle brush trees in purple and green cameo votive cups, also bought at Dollar Tree......

I also hung a purple snowflake ornament from the night light.....

Nothing much different than in previous years.....

But I did want to show you that you can put a Tree in and decorate even the smallest bathroom for Christmas.....

And I hope you will stop by to visit again on  MONDAY for my next post over on my regular Blog, Debbie-Dabble Blog.....
