I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Christmas at Nelson Crest, 2016

Welcome to Christmas at Nelson Crest!!

First, I want to Thank T'onna, over at Sew Crafty Crochet, for featuring my post,
Been Updating Some of my Outside Decorations, as part of her features from the Wrapping Up the Holidays Party!!!
Thanks so much, T'onna!!

Please check out the many great Christmas ideas that were linked up to this party!!

In my this post, I will be sharing how I decorated my Victorian Doll House, Nelson Crest, for Christmas!!
For those of you who are not familiar with the story of this Doll House, Click HERE to read the story about the wonderful 88 year old man who brought about my childhood dream of owning a Victorian Doll House.....
Nelson Crest is named after this wonderful man, Roy Nelson.....
You can see that the outside is decorated in grand fashion for Christmas!
Nelson Crest is a true "Painted Lady" Victorian home......
Wreaths hang on the windows.....
Topiaries and toy soldiers sit in the balcony railing.....
The Nelson's always have a White Christmas......
A Santa head also hangs from the railing of the balcony.....
A huge Toy Soldier graces the front porch.....
Milk and eggs were just delivered......
Looks like Victoria, the Nelson's daughter, built a snow man or 2!!
Let's take a look  inside.....
There are a total of 3 decorated Trees in Nelson Crest, bringing my total of decorated Trees in our house up to 21!!!
The Dining Room.....
A Tree in the Dining Room....
Tree # 19
A Nativity Set on top of the hutch......
The Parlor.....
Mr. Nelson has just sat down to read the newspaper....
A Tree in the Parlor.....
Tree # 20.....
This Tree lights up and I will be showing you that in my next post, An Evening Christmas Tour......

Let's go up to the 2nd floor......

Victoria's Room.....
My bedroom was purple when I was a child.....
The Master Bedroom......
Mrs. Nelson has just finished wrapping packages......
And she is about to have some afternoon Tea....
And Tree # 21 is in the bedroom......
Let's go up to the 3rd floor......

The Music Room.....
And the Bathroom....
And that completes my Tour of Nelson Crest!!
In future posts, I will be sharing our Home lit up in the Evening!!
And Part 2 of our trip to Country Folk, featuring the Display House!!!!!
Christmas is far from over here at A Debbie-Dabble Christmas.....

I will be doing a post sharing ALL of my 21 decorated Trees, What I bought before and after Christmas on Sale and what crafts I made and how I embellished existing decorations!!
And over on my regular blog, Debbie-Dabble Blog, I will be looking back on my One Little Word for 2016 and revealing my One Little Word for 2017!!

So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie

  13. Oh Debbie. I'm just now catching up on holiday posts....Nelson's Crest is FABULOUS. Just fabulous. How I loved looking at all your hundreds of details like the little manger scene on top of a piece of furniture and little photos, etc. And the tiny rose-bud covered tree! Oh! That was a heart stopped. Great job. I think I'd like to have a rose-covered one in my dollhouse. You are so inspirational. Thanks for all the great photos, too. Susan
