I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

~ Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

Christmas is my favorite Holiday and my favorite time of year!

I go all out decorating our small townhouse for all Holidays but especially Christmas!

Every room in our home has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20 in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same spot every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but it is like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas.......

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas traditions and I will not change them until I can no longer decorate like I do......

This blog is dedicated to All Things Christmas!!

A Christmas Magazine Review:Country Sampler's Christmas

I am addicted to magazines so every time I go to Wegman's, I have to stop and look if there is a new one out that catches my attention.

And I found this great Christmas magazine, " Country Sampler's Christmas"
But first if you missed my last post where I shared the a cappella group Pentatonix's rendition of  "Mary, Did You Know?", please click HERE to see and hear this amazing video!

Back to the magazine, it is packed with all sorts for Christmas Inspiration for pretty much every decorating style.

I thought I would share some photos from the magazine with you.......

I will let the pictures do the talking.....
Well, there you have it!!!

How's that for some Christmas Inspiration!!!!!

This weekend is the Craft Fair that I run for our church.

I have dropped out being a Vendor myself because I simply can not be a vendor, be responsible for all that is involved with the Fair and work full time so I am taking a break from being a Craft Vendor for at least 2 years. Joe will then be retired and I will be part time and things should be easier for both of us.

I will be doing a post on the Craft Fair over on my regular blog, Debbie -Dabble, so I hope you will visit over there .

I also hope you will come back and visit here on my Christmas Blog next week when I start my Christmas Tour of our Home.

The First post will feature the Outside of Our Home all decked out for Christmas.....

  1. I'd love to have one of each of the samples in my home..
    Love the rustic/primitive the most.
thanks Debbie for showing us all this beauty.

  2. Tons of inspiration in those photos Debbie, thanks for sharing! My favorite was the porch you showed last....all those lit trees...gorgeous! I'm looking forward to seeing you porch next week....hugs...

  3. Debbie, I could spend so much time on both of your blogs! I love the rooms from the magazine and the pictures of Christmas past. Then, I saw an older post about your family wedding pictures and finally had to drag myself away! Thanks so much for sharing. :)

  4. Gosh what a beautiful magazine. I had never seen it before. Thank you for sharing it. I enjoy reading both your blogs.

  5. That magazine has lots of nice touches. I like the ice skates hanging up, the white Christmas stockings and the natural touches with pine and berries and burlap.

  6. Hello Debbie!

I am the editor of Country Sampler's Christmas and I'm thrilled that you loved the issue so much! It was a joy to put together, and our designer really outdid herself.

If anyone is looking for the issue, it should be available on newsstands, or they can find more info here: http://www.countrysampler.com/specialissues/christmas.

I hope you, and your readers, find lots of inspiration for their holiday decorating!

    Susan Wagner

    I just loved the magazine!!

  9. What a beautiful magazine. Lots of inspiration. I'm glad you are able to enjoy the craft fair without the stress of also being a vendor on top of all your amazing responsibilities. Best wishes this weekend!

  10. Beautiful magazine! I saw it at the store, but decided not to get it due to price. I remember when these magazines were $3.99! I know that with less people buying them, the price will go up. I can see it was well worth the price. Good stuff!

  11. Really great inspiration Debbie! I saw so many things that I loved. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  12. Lots of great eye candy here! Thanks for sharing and for linking up!

  13. No words needed for the pleasure and enjoyment of so much beauty.

  14. I loved the archway with the lit garland dripping with icicles. Gorgeous. All of the pictures are full of inspiration! Thank you for sharing Debbie!
