I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Year Round Tree in my Living Room, Happy Rudolph Day, July, 2020

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
I am so happy that you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog....

Happy July Rudolph Day!!!
Many consider Rudolph Day as the 25th of each month and on that day, you plan for the upcoming Christmas Season...

Here on my Christmas Blog, I had hoped to try to post something Christmas related on the 25th of each month, Rudolph Day!!

When this world wide Health Crisis came along, I failed miserably with this.....

But since it is July and in the spirit of Christmas in July, I decided to do a Rudolph Day post!

Even if it is a day late....

The idea for this post just came to me this morning!!!!

If you have visited here before, you know that I decorate Trees for every Holiday and Season of the year with a minimum of 2 Trees decorated in our house at all times.....

I  made the decision last Fall that this 7 foot slim Tree that I had previously decorated for Fall, Christmas and Valentine's Day, would be staying here in this corner of the Living Room permanently.....

As Joe and I get older, the truth of the matter is that this is all getting a bit harder for us to be hauling Trees around so I decided to keep this Tree here along with the platform that it stands on....

This is the Tree stripped down to the lights that stay on it all the time.....
Elegant Autumn Tree.....

With the addition of orange lights and decorated for Autumn!!!
With the Pumpkin Patch underneath the Tree......

Victorian Christmas Tree and Village......

With red and green light added to the Tree.......
With my Lemax Village that I collected since the early 80's when my sons were born.....

Red and Gold Valentine's Day Tree.....

With just the white lights......

I did not get a picture of the Tree with my faux window but this is the faux window decorated for Valentine's Day......
With Heartland underneath the Tree......

 Easter Tree......

With the addition of pink/purple lights....
And with the Bunny Patch underneath the Tree....

Patriotic Summer Tree......

I added only one set of blue lights to Tree since I did not have any red lights......
Patriotic decorations on the platform.....

Late Summer "Under the Sea" Tree......

No other lights added to the white lights of the Tree.....
The "Beach" underneath the Tree.....

I have had lots of fun decorating this Tree and the platform that it stands on for the different Holidays and Seasons of the year.....

Some have commented over the year about all the "WORK" that this is to continue to do this.....

I have NEVER EVER looked at it as "WORK"!!!!

And frankly, I feel a bit sad for those who view it as "WORK"

I look at it as "PLAY"!!!!!

A way to let my imagination run wild and create a bit of a fantasy world in my own home!!

I get bored very quickly with things and by changing how our home looks for the various Holidays and Seasons, creates a fresh new look without spending much money and without having to remodel!!!

I hope you enjoyed this look back on this Tree and Platform in our Living Room over the past year......

The other Tree that I keep up year round in our home is the Tree in my Craft Room......

This year, I decorated it in a Summer Tea party theme......
Click HERE to see that post!!!

I am already getting excited about the upcoming Fall Season which is my favorite Season and time of the year....

I can't promise that I will do a post for August's Rudolph Day but if I do I will post a link to it on my regular blog, Debbie-Dabble Blog, where I continue to post about 3 times a week.....

I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

  1. How beautiful Debbie! I love your creativity and imagination! You are amazing! I can see how much you love what you do. You have a passion for it and a vision of what you want to create. That's wonderful!

I like to keep up a few Christmas decorations all year round too! It's fun to have them about as I'm watching my favorite Hallmark Christmas movies!

Happy Rudolph Day & Happy Christmas in July!!!

  3. What fun to reflect on the past and see your amazing creations. I would find it difficult to choose a favourite as they all have something that I love.

  4. Debbie, all your trees are so beautiful! I could never chose a favorite but I love the patriotic tree and the Autumn tree as autumn is also my favorite season. I think decorating for each season and holiday is so more fun!
