I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

~ Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

Christmas is my favorite Holiday and my favorite time of year!

I go all out decorating our small townhouse for all Holidays but especially Christmas!

Every room in our home has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20 in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same spot every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but it is like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas.......

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas traditions and I will not change them until I can no longer decorate like I do......

This blog is dedicated to All Things Christmas!!

  1. I love your photos, especially those Victorian style ornaments and box, and am inspired by you to post an August Rudy Day post on my shared Christmas blog, at http://scrapbookofchristmasfirsts.blogspot.com posting tomorrow August 25 of course.

  2. Wow, Debbie! You scored some great items. Can't wait to see how you incorporate them into your decor this year.

  3. I always look forward to Rudolph Day on your blog....gives me some Christmas spirit year round! You got some great items that will look so pretty in your Christmas vignettes! hugs...

  4. I love snowmen , all snowmen. I saw your ornaments last year at this little shop in Ashland here, they were not cheap. I love them but didn't want to pay the price they wanted. Church sales are the best.

  5. Awesome score! Love those Victorian ornaments in the box! I could do a lot of projects with those snowflakes, will be interested to see what you do with them.

  6. Love those Victorian ornaments and the snowmen too! Thank you for sharing @Vintage Charm!

  7. Great new treasures. Can't wait to see how they 'fit in'.

  8. I am not excited about decorating for Fall...and only do a couple of wreaths...but I can hardly wait to decorate for Christmas....

  9. Wonderful treasures! Can't wait to see how you use it all, Hugs

  10. The Victorian ornaments look a lot like mine, Debbie. Are they from Avon?? I am always won over by gingerbread men too. You found some wonderful little treasures for the upcoming holidays. Thanks for sharing.
