I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

~ Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

Christmas is my favorite Holiday and my favorite time of year!

I go all out decorating our small townhouse for all Holidays but especially Christmas!

Every room in our home has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20 in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same spot every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but it is like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas.......

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas traditions and I will not change them until I can no longer decorate like I do......

This blog is dedicated to All Things Christmas!!

Christmas at Kohl's

I was in Kohl's the other day and I checked out their Christmas department.....
Take a look at these sweet ornaments....

Now don't they look like they were Blogger inspired?????

This cutie came home with me!!
Here are more pics of Kohl's Christmas department.....

I will start to decorate the upstairs in our home soon for Christmas.

I usually like to have the upstairs finished by October 31st and then I will just need to concentrate on taking Fall and Halloween decorations down and decorating for Christmas downstairs.....

I have a new white tree that I bought on Clearance last year and can not wait to put it up and decorate it. It will be going in the guest room.

Right now I have my Harvest Tree all decorated in my Living Room.....

And my Halloween Tree in my Dining Room....

Please visit my regular blog, Debbie-Dabble, to see more of my Autumn and Halloween decorations.

  1. I was at Kohl's yesterday! It's always exciting when the stores start to get ready for Christmas! I need to stop by Macy's and make sure I'm not missing anything. Happy Sunday:@)

  2. Can't wait to get to Kohl's to see it all in person. Great shots of such lovely decorations. Love your fall and Halloween tree, too.

  3. Quante belle decorazioni!Le comprerei tutte!Come sei brava a decorare e quanta pazienza!Un bacione dall'Italia,Rosetta

  4. Beautiful trees Debbie ... I used to put a tree in every room, but not any more. Just too much work. I do good to get one up in the living-room. You have to spend a lot of time decoration and everything looks so lovely. Love the little snowman you got at Kohl's. Yes, we bloggers can make those kind of decorations, as you say, most likely inspired them.

  5. I would have definitely brought home that snowman too. Thanks for the Kohl's sneak peek. I'm still loving the Halloween decor too!

  6. I love your Halloween tree! Those skeleton hands are my favorite.

  7. You have such a HAPPY home! Even your Fall/Halloween trees are beautiful! I wondered if you started to decorate for Christmas with all the rooms you do. I haven't decorated for Halloween yet. And we will be gone for 4 plus weeks in November into December this year at Walt Disney World so I'm not sure how much Christmas decorations I can get done.

  8. I love Kohls Christmas decorations and home items. Thanks for posting.

  9. Wow, Debbie. Your's is the first Christmas blog I've ever seen! I love Christmas as you do and it's such a joy to find your wonderful Christmas filled blog! I'd love you to stop by and enter my "Paris Mondays" monthly drawing or just to say hi! I look forward to seeing all of your Christmas goodies in the future. xo's Pam

  10. All the things I have seen you share,Kohls can never compare. Yours out shines anything I have ever seen.

  11. Hi Debbie, So long since I have been in here but have certainly thought about you. I have been filling in working at the different senior centers. What was to have been on call as needed with maybe just an occasional day here and there has been 5 days a week since April. Am only on the schedule now for the next two weeks and hoping it will be back to at least just a day here and there.

I love Kohl's Christmas department . It looks like yours is a lot larger than ours is though. Such a cute snowman you brought home with you. Of course I am partial to snowmen.

I still have to drag up Halloween today. Did get fall up but now to get the other up is a challenge . Seems like I am not getting much done as I want.

I love your fall and Halloween trees. Did not do a fall tree this year. Still have the 7 foot white tree up and done in red, white and blue in honor of my Grandson. He just got back to the states from Afghanistan and will be arriving in MIchigan for the first time in almost a year on the 22nd. Can hardly wait for a big hug from him. After he comes here I may still leave up the red, white and blue as in January he is being deployed to Jordan. Will just more it to the sewing/computer room window for the Christmas Holidays.

    Hope you are feeling better.

    HUgs, Karan

  12. You Kohls looks nicer than ours. I was just there looking at those little colorful trees, but they didnt have them on display, just in boxes! I cant wait for November, Christmas will be everywhere!

  13. I love your Fall trees. I am a floral designer and we used to do a fall tree where I worked. I can't believe how stocked Kohl's is for Christmas already! Have fun decorating!!! XO, Pinky

  14. Your Fall trees are fabulous! You do all holidays up right!

After seeing your Kohl's pictures, I think I need to get over there today!

  15. SO EXCITED!!! A Kohl's is being built just a couple miles from my house! No more 20 minute drive and Ohio taxes for me!!! I always enjoy their holiday displays!

  16. Hi Debbie,

Wow! I just love love love your blog! Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the weather and the decorations. And especially the reason for the season. :)

I will be your newest follower in a minute. :) If you'd like to stop by and visit me that would be great....

I love your Christmas countdown on your sidebar...I can't find the code on their site to copy. Could you let me know what I need to do? Thanks.

Have a great week. Take care, Janet W

  17. We got a Kohl's store near us about a year ago, and I will go to check their Christmas department, based on your photos. I love your fall tree.

  18. What is it with department stores preparing for Christmas earlier and earlier! I found baubles at the begining of September! now even for a Christmas lover, that's a little too early!
