I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Annual Christmas Home Tour with Updates & 2 Tablescapes , 2025

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

  A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS

I enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared  my Victorian Doll House, Nelson Crest, all decked out for Christmas....

And how I decorated the downstairs hallway for Christmas....

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Well,  I always say Make Plans and God Laughs...

My son Jim and his family have been sick since last week.

The twins are getting better but Jim and Danielle are not doing so well, coughing, sneezing, congestion, you name it..

So they let the girls open their presents on Christmas Eve day and stayed home...

My son Joey and I enjoyed a lovely Christmas Eve Holy Supper and I delivered the food to Jim and Danielle....

Even though this was not the Christmas tablescape that I planed. I set the table for Joey and I.....

Oplatki is a Polish tradition but my kids hated the taste of them and would not eat them so I just put a pack of them out as a symbol of the tradition that I grew up with....

I burn my late husband Joe's candle at every Holiday meal...

Until I put the food out, I put out some goodies in green depression glaasses dishes...

A simple white plate with gold trim, crystal glasses, my red handled flatware and paper napkins

I served our traditional Christmas Eve Holy Supper.....

Pierogies as we are of Polish esecent....

Fried Scallops....

Fried fantail shrimp and tartar and cocktail sauce....

Chicken fingers....

I bought these lobster cakes at a local grocery store and fried them up...

They were really pretty tasty.....

I also served mushrooms and whole potatoes in butter.....

They were still sick on Christmas Day and they did not want to get Joey and I sick so they stayed home again......

So I again set a very simple table for 2 for Christmas Day dinner.....

I changed the tablecloth to a green Christmas one....

 Used gold poinsettia place mats...

 Merry Christmas dinner plates.....

Napkins with wreaths on them

My red handled flatware, crystal glasses and Merry Desert plates.....

And again, I burned Joe's candle like I do for every Holiday dinner.....

Christmas Day dinner was the same as always.....

A turkey breast

 Polish keilbasi

A boneless ham....

Mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, corn and stuffing.....

And again, I delivered dinner to Jim and Danielle.....

Hopefully, everyone will feel better next week and we will celebrate Christmas, New Year's and Joey and the twin's birthdays all at once.....

Like I said...Make plans and God laughs.....

I am starting off my Annual Christmas Home Tour with links to 2 room posts that I did not share this year....

WHY?

First, I ran out of time to do Blog posts on them

Second, they are exactly the same as they were last year because of the simple fact that I did not take Christmas down in these 2 rooms...

By the time I got around to it, it was the beginning of May and too hot to go up the attic, so I left them as is....

Yes....

For the second year in a row as I did not get to them in 2024 after my husband Joe passed away...

So here is the upstairs Sitting Room decorated for Christmas exactly like it was last year!

My flocked Tree decorated with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments....

 My faux fireplace....

 Another Tree....

I have a lot of vintage Christmas items in this room so if you want to see last year's post, please click HERE....

Another room that I have not shared is my Craft Room...

For the simple fact that I can barely walk into it!!

Yes, things have sort of gotten away on me in there this past year and one of my projects for 2026 is to go through everything in that room and decide what I am keeping and passing on as far as my craft stash goes....

So here is what the Craft Room looked like last Christmas because I am too embarrassed to show you what it actually looks like this year!!

Click HERE if you would like to see how my Craft Room looked last year for Christmas.....

THE FRONT PORCH and YARD....

Here are some new pictures taken at dusk when it snowed......

I did buy this mat at Ocean State Job Lot and plan on leaving it out on the porch for the Winter....

Also instead of taking the top half of my old Dining Room Tree down to my storage shed, I decided to add it to the front porch decor as I will be using it to replace the Tree in the corner of the porch in the Spring....

In the evening, it also adds a bit more light to this side of the porch.....
