Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!
Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!
I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!
The
majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every
year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to
me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for
Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and
friends...........
I do try to add a few new things and change up
things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my
Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....
I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....

Well, this is my last post here, on my Christmas Blog, for the 2025 Christmas Season...
I INTEND to come back a few times during the following year to post on Rudolph Day, which is the 25th of each month....
Yesterday, even though it is officially on January 6th, the Catholic Church celebrated Epiphany, the Feast of the 3 Kings, which is the official end of the Christmas Season...
I will now be starting switch over my Christmas decoration to Winter/Valentine's...
We are supposed to be in a warm up this week starting on Tuesday with high temp's in the 40's until next weekend...
That will allow me to change over the outside front of my house to Winter from Christmas....
Because right now, this is how it looks....
Then I will start to change the Den over to Winter.....
It usually takes me about 3 weeks to make the change over, as I do leave some things out after Christmas, and Winter will stay up into March and Valentine's til the end of February as February is Heart Month...
This season, I spent a lot of time watching YOU TUBE Christmas decorating videos and they really did brighten my spirits when they were a bit down....
I find that they offer more of the content that I am interested in when it comes to decorating than most of the Blogs , which are beginning to look, to me, like professional, cookie cutter blogs...
If you have visited me on my Blogs before, you know that I am a maximalist , who has many vintage and antique Collections made up of treasured inherited, gifted and thrifted items...
I also love the Victorian, Shabby Chic, Country Cottage look which I am so happy to say is back in style and now called Grandma Chic....
So if you are a minimalist, this post is NOT for you....
These Home Tours will most likely make your skin crawl!!
LOL!!
All of these people on YOU TUBE share my philosophy on decorating....
The Victorian Philosophy of More is More!!
So be forewarned...
They are not for a faint of heart minimalist....
We each have our own style and these YOU TUBE Channels definitely depict what style I love!
And I ask that you respect that as I also respect your style, though it may be different than mine...
I have been following Arlynn for a very long time and never did I think that her own grief Journey, after the passing of one of her daughters, in her late 30's, would be so much of a help to me....
After such a horrific loss, Arlynn has continued to decorate her beautiful home for every Holiday and Season because she says it makes her heart feel good...
And she has the wonderful talent of making the most inexpensive items like paper plates look rich and elegant....
Julie had fallen on some hard times, losing a husband, losing a sister, remarrying and then a contractor took off with her money that she paid him for renovations on her home but she has an upbeat attitude and makes the most out of what she has and decorates her home to the nine's....
She went with the trend this year of a Ralph Lauren Christmas in her small home but did it on a very low budget and it looks stunning!!
I first "met" Priscilla when she was still actively blogging....
She still has her blog and created a business from it....
I always loved her house tours especially at Christmas because she, like me, had multiple Trees and decorated every room...
Priscilla, sadly, is fighting cancer so I ask for your prayers for her but she still decked out her home beautifully and her village and the Tree on which it is displayed is something truly fantastic!!
I will admit that probably because I am a Northerner, I do have a hard time understanding the southern drawl in her video's BUT she shares AMAZING Home Tours of vintage inspired homes where she lives...
And I honestly do not mean any disrespect about their accents...
One of my favorites is always Aunt Penny's Home tour
If you enjoyed any of these video, please give them a "like" and subscribe to their Channels....
I hope I did not miss any other of my favorites but if I did, I will include them in a future Rudolph Day post....
I am a Seasonal Decorator and I love to decorate my townhouse for the different Holidays and Seasons but Christmas is my all time favorite to decorate for....
I always said that I would love to own a Christmas Shop....
I hope and pray that the Christmas Season of 2025 was kind to you and your families....
And I apologize that I was not around as often as I should have been to visit your blogs but it was a very busy Season for me...
And, being quite honest, it was a harder one that I expected as it was the second Christmas without my husband Joe and the first one without my dear best friend Anne Marie and my wonderful neighbor Ed...
But I made it through and watching these You Tube Videos helped me do that....
I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY over on my regular Blog, Debbie-Dabble Blog, when I INTEND to reveal what my One Little Word for 2026 is!!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
And try to find Joy in every single day!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE
give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to
reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check

I view the Holidays Season as starting back in October with Fall and Halloween events....
In October, I was Trunk and Treated out, having gone to 4 events, 3 with my family and granddaughters....
I loved every minute of it!!
Then it was also a busy and festive Christmas Season with a few parties and family visits!!
But I am Holidayed out right now!!
It was a cold and snowy December here in NEPA!!
The coldest and snowiest in quite a few years....
Thank God I am on PPL Electric Company's monthly Budget plan where I pay the same amount every month because I can only imagine what January's Bill will be as my house is all electric, including my heat....
I finally was able to cancel the 2 year contract that my late husband Joe entered right before he passed away with Constellation Energy, using that as our supplier...
Here in PA, we are able to search for lower rates among suppliers instead of automatically just using PPL...
Right after he entered that 2 year contract, PPL dropped their rates and now even with the projected increase in PPL's rates, it was less expensive per kWh to go back to PPL...
We have been below average, which is in the mid 30's for December, almost all month and have not gotten out of the 20's for a high in well over a week but a warm up is on the way this coming week!!
We have also been waking up to an inch or two of snow from snow squalls almost every morning!!
With all that being said, I will be waiting til that warm up into the 40's to change the front of my house over to Winter decorations.....
I will also wait to go up the attic and start to pack away Christmas in the Den and start decorating it for Winter until maybe Tuesday when it does get a bit warmer....
I am in no hurry to get rid of Christmas because I have really enjoyed how my house looked this Holiday Season.....
For today post, I want to showcase a few gifts I received and a Christmas Clearance Haul......
GIFTS
My son Jim's family gifted me this wonderful Butterfly.....
You Are
Beautiful Amazing
Eccl. 3.11 Ps. 139 ;14
Victorious Capable

Enough Chosen
2 Cor. 12:9 1 Thess.1;6

Phil. 4:13 Gen. 1:31
Never Alone Always Loved
Matt 28:20 Rom. 8:38
Sorry as I try to line up what is written on the butterfly but I see I did not do so well....
I LOVE it!!
They also gifted me this......
And it lights up, which I adore!!!
My son Joey gifted me a Boscov's Gift Card which I will definitely use!!
Thanks so much, Joey, Jim, Danielle, Lily, Gigi, Faye and Azumi.....
A CHRISTMAS CLEARANCE HAUL
I did do a bit of Christmas Clearance shopping BUT no where near what Joe and I used to do....
You may remember that my niece Renae and great nieces Carly and Caitlin gifted me this beautiful Red Cardinal Tea for One Teapot....
And you may also remember that my sister, Barb, gifted me this Hallmark Snowman with Red Cardinals on it....
So I added the tea pot to my current Dining Room tablescape!!
I do Red Cardinals in my Kitchen for the Winter so these will definitely be used in the Kitchen soon....
I love this!!
I also bought these pretty fish ornaments in Boscov's for my late Summer "Under the Sea" Tree in the Living Room.....
And I bought 4 sets of these lights that I will be using next year on all 3 of my Living Room Christmas Trees.....
Most of these were 75% off in Boscov's....
I had a $25 Crazy Deal Gift Card from Ocean State Job Lot
Christmas was 50% off.....
These ski's were bought to add to my outside Winter decor.....
I may do a bit of "dabbling" with these....
I also bought 2 more sets of these candle lights and I am thinking of using these on my Living Room Valentine's Tree....
These ornaments were only $1.00 each and will be used on my Den Americana Tree with other toile and blue transferware ornaments....
And after having enough Christmas Cards for MANY years because Joe would buy them on clearance or get them for free from all the organizations that he donated to, I have finally run out of Christmas cards...
So I bought some for nest year...
.
However, I am thinking that my Christmas Card next year might look something similar to this sweet picture!!
LOL!!
After using the Crazy Deal Gift Card, I payed 52 cents for all of this.along with a few non Christmas items that I bought....
When I went to J.C. Penney's for my monthly hair cut, I checked out their Holiday Merch....
I had had my eye on these lovely bells for quite some time as bells were the BIG thing this Christmas, especially on all the You Tube Decorating videos....
They were $36 originally.....
They were marked down to $8.99 so I grabbed 2 of them....
Only to be wonderfully surprised when both were further marked down to $8.99 for BOTH of them!!
I also plan on using them as part of my Living Room Patriotic decorations this Summer.....
I earned $20 in Rewards from Penney's so I ordered one of these....
The colors will be perfect in my Living Room and you can not beat FREE!!
I still had a gift card from Hobby Lobby from last year as I try to stay away from that store because I would bring the entire store home with me if I kept going there!!
LOL!!
I happened to stop in the day everything went to 90% off....
Thank God they were pretty picked out because heaven knows what I would have come home with!
I could not resist these pink felt reindeer.....
Original price.....
I bought these to use in my Den year round....
I loved these white nutcracker ornaments....
And I bought all of the musical ornaments they had left...
After using my gift card, all I paid was $1.32 for all of this!!
I really did not buy a lot of things this year and what I did buy are either useful, like the lights, or I can use for other Seasons, Holidays and throughout the year...
I am still on the look out for some greenery and garlands but they are probably already gone by now....
I may check out Michael's as it takes them awhile to drop prices on Christmas Merch.....
I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY for my last post on this, my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas, for this Holiday Season before I return back to my regular Blog, Debbie-Dabble Blog....
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
