First, I want to Thank Laurie, over at My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies, and Megin, over at VMG206, for featuring my post, Christmas in the Den, Part 2, Christmas Home Tour 2015, from last week's Brag About It party!!
Thanks so much, Laurie and Megin!
Please take some time to stop by and link up to this great party!!
In my previous post, I shared how Nelson Crest is decorated for Christmas on the Outside.....
If you missed Christmas at Nelson Crest, The Outside, Please click HERE
Nelson Crest is named after the wonderful man who built her for me, Roy Nelson......
He made my childhood dream of owning a Victorian Doll House come true!!
Today, I am sharing the downstairs of Nelson Crest!!
It has been some time since I shared the inside of Nelson Crest.
We are going to start in the Parlor.....
You can see that Mr. Nelson, Roy, is relaxing in the Parlor reading the newspaper after a long day at work.....
Some close ups of the Parlor......
Tree # 18!!
I bought this battery operated Tree at Target 2 years ago!!
The Dining Room.......
Close ups......
The rugs were bought on Ebay...
The Last Supper....
This Tree was one that my parents had when I was a child.....
Maybe next year, I will decorate one to use here in the Dining Room of Nelson Crest......
And that is the Downstairs of Nelson Crest, decorated for Christmas!!
You may notice that this house in missing something......
A Kitchen!!
That is why I call it my Dream House, a perfect house in my eyes....
Because it has no kitchen and I HATE to cook!!!
I hope you will come back and visit again when I share Christmas at Nelson Crest, the Upstairs!!
Nelson Crest has a 2nd and 3rd floor....
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
On Debbie-Dabble, I posted a Mini Christmas Home Tour of the Downstairs and Upstairs.
Please Click HERE and HERE if you missed those posts!!
Also, all parts of my Christmas Home Tour 2015 , are posted on my Side Bar. Just click on the pic for each Part to see!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
Hugs,
Debbie

Oh Debbie. That was a marvelous tour. How I LOVED it, being a dollhouse and miniatures lover myself. Oh, just loved all the tiny details. Perfect! You really did an outstanding job.
ReplyDeleteYou could write and illustrate entire books on your "big" house as well as Nelson' Crest. Bet they'd sell like hotcakes!
Hope you have a splendid rest of the week and a good new year of life. Susan
Now that would be a fun activity at Christmas!!!Great detail.

Debbie, I would squint my eyes and pretend I lived there in those rooms. I love the wonderful things in each room. Have you ever visited Claudia at "mockingbird hill cottage"? She has a doll house, it's so sweet. it's not Victorian like yours , so it's not as big. Please look her up. I think she'd love seeing this. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI so want to visit your Nelson Crest, all the details, all the handsome furniture and the Victorian look.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet tiny details you have in here. The nativity set, the artwork, the lace...and Mr. Nelson looks so at home reading his paper. Adorable, Debbie, thanks for the tour!, I'm trying to catch up too, Sandi
ReplyDeleteDebbie, this must be a full time hobby. Thank you for sharing this charming home and the way you have decorated it for the holidays. Special!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Wow it just amazes me the wonderful attention to detail in these rooms and it looks so neat lit up too, so special!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, You know I am a big fan of your Nelson Crest! We have a lot of the same pieces too! You have some wonderful rugs and the tree looks so cute all lit up! I haven't been spending too much time on my dollhouse, I barely even got it decorated for Christmas! And now it's time to take it down again.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and yours a very Happy New Year!
Gina
Every single detail is amazing! The rooms are so romantic and rich of pretty things. My favourite is the cake...it looks so yummy! Happy new year !!!

If I am ever shrunk - I want to live at Nelson Crest.

Deb, what a great story. How nice that Mr. Nelson made the doll house for you. You certainly have some beautiful pieces. Wish I had some as pretty in my real house! You have so much fun with all your projects. You go girl, it will keep you young..Happy New Year..xo Judy
ReplyDeleteHello Debbie, I have been expecting to get here for your tour of Nelson Crest and I finally have my decorations down and the house back to normal. At this point it was easier to sit down and catch up reading blogs.
ReplyDeleteThe details of your dollhouse are just amazing. I love the lace curtains in the living room! Do you add something new every year? Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
Happy New Year to you & your family :)
A specially house, beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
Blessings,
Cindy
I love that the fun is outside too #MarvMondays
ReplyDeleteWow, Nelson Crest is wonderful! Truly enchanting, Debbie! I love that you named it after the talented artist who built it.
ReplyDeleteLoving the detail of Christmas at Nelson Crest! I am tuning out the world and just enjoying my Christmas decorations now that all the hustle and bustle is over. We finally have some cold weather so it is feeling more like Christmas to me in January than it did in December.
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome that as ladies we can appreciate doll houses at any age. I think playing may even be more fun! Every detail is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing with us at Merry Monday. Happy 2016!
ReplyDeleteDebbie you out did yourself this year. The house looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing on Simple Saturdays.
I'm always in awe of this project! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!
