In my last post, I showed you our 7 foot Tree in the Dining Room
And this corner of the Dining Room....
We are starting over in this corner on the other side of the Dining Room today......

This year, I decided to decorate the Dining Room in a Pink, White and Gold color theme.

This is because of what I chose as my Theme for my tables at my church's Harvest Tea in October:
My Theme was a White and Gold Christmas......
I used Christmas items to decorate my tables with that I have been using to decorate the Dining Room with for several years...
So when it came time to decorate the Dining Room for Christmas, I decided to add a bit more pink to the White and Gold Theme!!
If you would like to see the post on the Harvest Tea, please click HERE

Now back to the Dining Room decorated for Christmas......

I have mentioned before that this room is the room in our townhouse that has the most Victorian feel to it!!
In the corner by the buffet.....
A Tussie Mussie that I made hangs in the corner of the ceiling.....
 And a Thomas Kinkade plate.....
I made this swag many years ago....
A Lenox Santa sits on this little shelf......
And an Angel and a Victorian Doll sit on the floor in the corner....
Pretty much what is on the Buffet is what I used on the table between both the tables for my guests at the Harvest Tea only I used one Tree and here I am using 2 Trees!!
I just added a bunch of pink ornaments to the Trees......

These are Trees # 6 and 7........
I bought all these ornaments on clearance last year after Christmas.....
The pink stars on each Tree also came from Target , bought on Clearance last year.....
I like the reflection in the mirror......
The white snow flakes were also bought on Clearance last year....
And the Gold LED lighted battery operated Trees were bought at J C Penney's last year.....
The White and Gold Snow Man set and the Santa and his Sleigh Set were bought at Sam's Club many years ago......
Gold Reindeers were bought at WalMart......
This Ice Church was gifted to me by my friend, Anne Marie.....
As was the Ice House.....
The other Tree.....
On the little shelf above the buffet.....
A Lenox Ginger Bread Man ornament and a Gold Church Ornament bought at Big Lots last year.....
I wanted to add a bit of Snow to the gold Churches so I painted them with Snow Tex......

You will see more of them on top of the Hutch in a minute.....
There are battery operated LED white mini lights under the snow blanket....
Next to the buffet is one of 2 curios that were my neighbor's that I received for taking care of her home while she is in a Nursing Home for Alzheimer's..........

On the wall above the curio......
One of 2 White and Gold Santas.....
 On top of the curio......
Sticking with the Pink.White and Gold Theme.....
I added a few beads to make the inside of the curio a bit more Christmasy!!
At the base of the curio....
Another Pink Angel....
And another Pink Santa.....
Next to the curio is the hutch....
On top of the hutch.....
Again, I added snow to the gold church ornaments.....
And to this Church bought at Target several years ago.....
The white angels were also a gift from my friend, Anne Marie....
Looking at the window divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room.....
A wreath that I made.....
I added a candle ornament to the middle of the wreath .....
A very Victorian looking stocking.....
More Victorian Dolls.....
The chandy....
I have left the shades of of it , hang some of the new pink ornaments I bought from it and.......
Some cute white Chandy ornaments that I bought in Big Lots this year.....

Update:
I found this gold/silver tinsel garland that I was not using and thought it would add a bit of Glitz to the chandy...
I think it added just the right amount of Glitz, don't you?

And that concludes my post on the Dining Room .......

In my next post ,Our Christmas Home Tour continues and I hope you will visit again when I share my Sweet Christmas Kitchen!!
This is Tree # 8......
Hope to see you soon!!

  1. Oh my GOODNESS Debbie. You're a dazzling decorator!

    That 7 foot tree?

Spectacular. Loved seeing all the decor but especially the pink Santas and the doll babies. You know how much I love dolls!

Check out my friend Violet's dollhouse if you have a chance----it's on my Wednesday and Friday posts. Susan

  2. Debbie, You always have the most beautiful holiday decorations. The spirit of Christmas is alive and well at your home. I am so crushing on the white and gold theme. Just beautiful! The pink is so radiant contrasting with the white. Beautiful!! Where on earth do you find all of the putz houses (do you make them?)? I have a few but I seldom see them in thrift stores. Anyway the little glitter houses are beautiful in your vignettes.

  5. Debbie, you do know how to decorate. Your home must look like a wonderland in person. I have my tree in pink, white, and gold this year but a wee bit of teal too. Love your ice church and ice house and well, it's hard to pick any favourites because there is so much to enjoy. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas, my friend!

    Hugs,
    Sandi
