The day before Thanksgiving, the East Coast was hit by a Nor'Easter and my area got about 7 inches of a very wet and heavy snow fall!!
If you missed Part 1 of Our Christmas Home Tour, The Front of Our Home, please click HERE!
This Snow Fall created quite a Winter Wonderland and really added a LOT of Christmas Spirit to my outside decorations!!
That being said, here is our Townhouse all decked out and lit up for the Christmas Season!!
I have a spotlight that shines on the front of the house....
As you walk up the steps to the front of our row of houses......
On the sidewalk, looking down toward our Front Porch......
You can see all our shovels, leaning up against the house.....
Looking out from the Front Porch.....
You can't even see what I have on my Park Bench!!
The lights you see in the back ground is from the Shopping Center that is next to us and the top of Lowe's roof!
I want to mention that all the lights both inside and outside our home are energy saving LED lights!! It took me 3 years to replace all the lights but buying them at after Christmas Sales helped save a lot of money!!
And this is what the snow fall looked like on Thanksgiving Day morning......
Looking out on to the Front Porch from the Front Door......
The trees along our road......
Joe took these from the Parking Lot while cleaning off our cars.....
And my back yard sure looks different than in the Summer......
These photos were taken as the snow was falling on Wednesday.....
You can see how heavy the snow is on the trees.....
The next morning, on Thanksgiving Day, I saw just how heavy that snow actually was.....
Yep, that's the tree on the side of the yard!!!
Now laying on the ground!
We feared that this one might also crack under the weight of the snow......
Joe went out and knocked some snow off of it before it suffered the same fate.....
The Trees sure do look pretty though!
I guess we will have to think about what we will be replacing that Tree with in the Spring!!

Debbie,
ReplyDeleteYour tree is beautiful! I love the traditional colors. The upright candles always look so magical on a tree and these are no exception. Your village looks wonderful under the Christmas tree.
I have not put up my village since we moved into this house. I will be setting up my little houses next week, but not the whole village just a handful of houses. I miss having the space to set it up and to have a really big tree.
Great tour of the house! My MIL had a village and since she has been in the resthome, it has not been put up. That makes me sad for so many reasons. My great nephew says he's going to put it in his room! That would be something to see!
ReplyDeleteSo Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazingly beautiful home. I don't even know where to start but I must say the angel with the snow wings is amazing! I was looking at all your lovely photos and thinking of all the hours that must go into your fabulous winter wonderland!!! The snow just makes it all perfect. Your home is so charming and lovely. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Hugs, Beverly
ReplyDeleteAll we need to do is read your post and definitely be filled with Christmas spirit. Truly breathtaking. I barely have two things up.
ReplyDeleteWow, Debbie! You always leave me speechless with your decor!! Beautifully done as always! Merry Christmas! Catherine
