I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

One More Christmas Haul and an Amazing Sun Rise!!

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

In my last post, I shared how I decorated the Powder Room in a Christmas Woodland theme in blue, white and silver.....

I want to Thank to Sue, over at Women Living Well After 50, for choosing my post, Christmas Front Porch and Yard, as one of her features from last week's Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot Link Party!!

Thanks so much, Sue!!

Please stop by and link up to this charming party!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

Well, It has been a busy week and I have been going at lightning speed.....

And you know what happens when one does that.....

They crash.....

Needless to say, I will not be sharing the rest of my Dining Room decorated for Christmas because I have yet to crawl under the stairs through a trap door in my coat closet to get out the things I need to decorate the buffet.....

Hopefully, by Monday....

But let me digress....

Monday, I started to pack up Halloween, clean and decorate the Powder Room for Christmas....

Tuesday, I finished the Powder Room, went for a hair cut and then had a meeting at my Church in the evening....

Wednesday, I lost my mind because I realized that I misplaced my keys, somewhere in the house.....

No, I still have not found them but I am thankful that I have other sets of keys for all the keys on that key chain....

I also started to pack away Fall in the Living Room....

On Thursday, after taking my son Joey's advice because he informed me that I was "losing it", I took a day off.....

I needed to finish up a basket that I was making up for the basket raffle for our Craft Fair at the church on the 23rd and 24th.....

I made up a Summer Patio Party Basket....

2 sets of solar lights, one set of Edison lights, a set of melamine dinner plates, a tablecloth abd a ceramic birdhouse.....all placed inside of a wood basket made by the Amish Farmer....

I had to run down to Michael's to buy the clear jumbo bags to put this in and I nearly went crazy in there as my style of traditional Christmas decorating is now back in style and so is PINK for Christmas....

I held it together and only bought these pink berry picks for a buck a piece on sale at 50 % off.....

Here is what I did with them....

I used 3 of them to top off the Dining Room Tree

And 3 in this floral arrangement that I will be using in a pink vase from the Powder Room on the Dining Room table when I finally finish decorating as my Dining Room table is my staging area right now.........

After I placed the basket into the bag, I headed up to my credit union to get a $50 Visa gift card to add to the basket and drove up to my church's office to drop it off....

I visited there for a bit as a few of my friends were there and then , on the way home, I stopped in at a local Liquidation Store called Brand Name Liquidators....

All their merchandise are close outs and priced at 50% off the original price but on the 25th of each month, the price drops down another 10%.....

That is how they move the merch out....

Here is what I bought there.....

I could not resist this beautiful Lenox Santa for $25.....

I love it!!!

I also bought these....

These children's Baking sets were $1 each....

I figure I could use the rolling pins for a craft....

These were 50 cents each!

When I got home that day, I took care of some correspondence and packed away a few Fall things from the Living Room....

I deducted that the only other place that set of keys could possibly be is in the garbage so I was waiting for my car alarm to go off with our dumpsters were emptied into the garbage truck and compacted.....

It didn't so they still may turn up yet....

I put that behind me and on Friday, I packed away all the remaining Fall decor from the Living Room and hauled it up with attic....

I then drove over to my sister Barb's to pick her up as we went to another All Soul's Day Memorial Mass for those that passed away in our Church.....

My BIL John and my cousin Joey were remembered at that Mass....

They did it a bit differently than how my church did it....

When the names were read, the ones loved ones walked up to the altar and were given a white carnation by the priest.....

It was nice going there as the Bell from my childhood church is there ( 2 churches merged and my childhood church was torn down)........

My sister and I looked for and found the memorial paver, "The Frank Kolojejchick Family" that my sister and I purchased and had placed by the Bell....

Two more will be added soon......one for my BIL John and one for my Cousin Joey....

My Dad worked for our church as a janitor, maintenance man, etc for many years before he went into construction....

These were the days before automated bells ringing at churches so he had to go to ring the Bell before every Mass...

When my sister and I were children, we would hang on to to rope, our dad would pull on it to ring the bell and we would fly up in the air, hanging on to the bell rope!!!

Such fun!!

So you see, It has been a bit of a busy week......

I am happy to say that I have nothing going on next week until Saturday when I will be working as the cashier for the food stand at my church's Craft Fair on Saturday and on Sunday, my sister and I are going to see Trans Siberian Orchestra at our Arena!

On Saturdays, I have been going to Dollar General as I get a $5 off $25 coupon to use on Saturdays....

In addition to buying some household items, I bought these for Christmas.....

These were $1 each.....

I used the Bells out on the front porch on my childhood sled....

And the sign, I placed on the chair.....

These were $2 each.....

These are great for small trees.....

I bought one more set of these.....

This is a larger bell......

 I used it here.....

The bells were $5 and the Gingerbread Man head is a tree topper or can be used as an ornament.....

I already shared where I hung these......

I will also want to share a beautiful Sun Rise.......

I do not often get to see a Sun Rise because I don't like to go out on the front porch in my robe.....

But I made an exception for this one....

And with that, I will leave off for today......

I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY!!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  1. My goodness, you did have a busy week!!! I don't know how you fit it all in! I sure hope those keys magically appear before you have to go dumpster diving! I hate it when I lose things which I seem to do more and more often. You sure did find some great things on your shopping sprees.

  4. Busy lady, you always fnd the best deals. I’m starting the decorating today, so lovely to get things out of tubs and remember where or who they came from. The memories slow down the decorating. But that is all part of it.

  5. I hope your keys turn up! Those pink beaded sprays are the perfect finishing touches for your tree and arrangement.
