Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!
Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!
I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!
The
majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every
year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to
me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for
Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and
friends...........
I do try to add a few new things and change up
things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my
Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....
I post 3 TIMES A WEEK on MONDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAYS.....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

In my last post over on my regular Blog,
A Debbie-Dabble Blog, I shared Some of the Winter yard work clean up that I have been doing....
And these 2 sweet Care Bears.....
Click
HERE if you missed that post!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
Welcome to the 2024 Christmas Season here on A Debbie- Dabble Christmas.....
From here on to the beginning of 2025, I will be posting here on my Christmas Blog.....
Truth be told, I am behind on my Christmas decorating for this year....
I usually have the entire upstairs and the Den and Powder Room done by Halloween....
I have the upstairs done because I never got the chance to take it down with Joe's illness and passing and I was not going to be going up in the attic to pack it away when it was in the 90's in the Summer...
So at least the upstairs is done and I have been tweaking it a bit....
But since Thanksgiving is late this year, on the 28th, compared to last year when it was very early on the 23rd, I thought I could cut myself a bit of slack....
What really screwed things up was a leaking pipe in my upstairs bathroom and this.....
A new piece of dry wall is being put up tomorrow, on Tuesday, so I had to pack up all of Halloween in the Dining Room and move things to allow the guy some room to work....
Plus, I decided to enjoy the last week before Halloween since I have a few extra days this year with Thanksgiving being late...
Yes, I slowed down a bit from my usual moving at lightning speed....
Plus, I did all the Winter clean up yard work all by myself, which I managed just fine, but Joe used to do some of it ....
I do already have all the outside Halloween decor and most of the outside Fall decor down and packed away and I hope to decorate the front of the house this week as we are supposed to have good weather with temps. in the 60's so I am going to take advantage of that....
I have been asked if I would continue to decorate my whole house for Christmas like I usually do.....
I am not the one who passed away and if this year has taught me anything, it is this.....
"If this was to be your last Christmas on Earth, would you have wanted
to spend it in a house where you didn't do the thing you loved?"
So there you have it.....
Joe would have never wanted me to stop enjoying the Christmas Holiday Season especially now since we finally have our twin granddaughters....
After all, Joe is the one who bought most of my Christmas decorations!!!
But for today, to start off the 2024 Christmas Season, I am going to share another Haul......
I love watching Haul's on You Tube, don't you?????
Click
HERE to see an absolutely amazing Christmas Haul that Becca at "Adventures in Decorating" posted on You Tube!!
I am also addicted to the "Shop with Me" video's with
The Queen being my favorite in those types of videos!!!
Because of those videos, I usually know what I am looking for when I go shopping....
We will start with Ollies
I had a 15% off coupon!!
A child's size Christmas apron for $3.99.....
And this lighted Gingerbread house was $9.99 but remember that 15 % off coupon took it down to $8.50!!
I do love my pine scented candles.....
$4.99 and 15 % off...
Dollar Tree
This BIG book box was in the Dollar Tree Plus section......
So I thought it would not be $1.25......
The day after Halloween, almost all the Halloween merch was packed away and they were stocking for Christmas.....
I picked up these for my Beverage Bar area.....
Dollar General
These gingerbread napkins and the red cardinal plates were $1.00 each....
The dish towel and the plaid napkins were $2.00 each
And this set of 3 ornaments was $3....
I bought a few other non Christmas items , using a coupon for $5 off $25.....
I also picked up some greenery....
I went back another time and bought these sets of lights for $12 each and used another $5 off $25 coupon....
The reason why I bought those 2 sets of lights is because I plan on using them on this Tree that I ordered online from Boscov's......
National Tree 6ft. Linden Spruce Slim Christmas Tree
Now you may be wondering where am I going to put this 6 ft. slim Tree.....
Last year, I was trying to decide if I wanted to keep the 7 1/2 ft. pencil Tree that I have set up in the Dining Room for several years....
It truly was too tall for the corner in the Dining Room where I used it....
And I did not want to be hauling it back and forth to my storage shed myself......
Like Joe used to do...
So because of the circumstances of this year, I decided that after I strip all the lights off of it, I will donate it to Salvation Army.....
Maybe.....
Or I may use the branches for greenery....
Stay tuned on that one...
This new Tree is actually about 5 1/2 ft. tall as a good 6 inches is the top branch of it......
And it is only 20 inches wide....
I think it will be a much better fit in the corner of the Dining Room and will be much easier for me to handle the storage of it...
The Tree was on sale in Boscov's for $38.99.......
But I had a 15% off coupon which took it down to only $33.....
Amazon's price for the same Tree is $42.99
Michael's price for the same Tree is $47.99
And Bed, Bath and Beyond's online price is $55.99
I prefer unlit Trees as I like to put my own warm white LED lights on my Trees.....
A few other things I ordered from Boscov's......
This sweet vintage styled Angel tree was marked down to $19.99
I love her sweet face....
I had a coupon for 25 % off total purchase...........
Plus a $10 gift card and a $5 reward that I used for this order from Boscov's!!!
This sweet towel was $4.99 before the coupon.....
I wanted these reindeer plates to go with the 2 reindeer mugs I bought last year in Big Lot's but our Big Lot's did not have them last year so when I saw them online , I ordered them from Boscov's this year....
They were $5.99 before the coupon.....
Big Lot's
Last Friday, Big Lot's had a "Black Friday" sale and all Christmas decor was 30% off and I had a $5 off $15 coupon.....
I could not resist these 2 Gingerbread figurines which came out to $5.13 for both........
And I bought these ornaments for something I have in mind for my bedroom.....
Gabes
I hit Gingerbread heaven in Gabes again......
The cupcakes were $4.99 each....
These gingerbread clips were $2.99
This lollipop ornament was $1.99...
This red cardinal figurine was $3.99
And I picked up this set of Halloween hot pads on clearance for $2....
I also had a $5 off $25 coupon....
Ocean State Job Lot
I bought these2 rolls of Christmas plaid ribbon using a Crazy Deal gift card so they were free.....
Walmart
In a previous post where I shared another Christmas haul, I had placed an order from Walmart....
This package of 25 branches finally was delivered....
They were $7.99 and there were actually 28 in the package!!
Well worth it to add to floral arrangements, wreaths or garlands....
They are of good quality too....
I also want to share that I have been picking up my Christmas Baking supplies.....
In unexpected places......
I found that the baking morsels were cheaper in Big Lot's than in Price Chopper where I normally shop for groceries......
$3.29 and $3.49 compared to $3.99 and up in Price Chopper for the same size bags!!!!
I bought them when Big Lot's was having 20% off total purchases and used a $5 off $15 coupon so they really came down in price!!
The roasting pans that I have them in are for my Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day Turkey breasts....
I bought them in Dollar Tree for only $1.25 each!!
The cashier there said that once they come in, they fly off the shelves and are usually gone in a day or so!!
The flour and baking soda was on sale in Price Chopper.....
Gifts
Last week, my friend Mary came over for lunch and I had to share what she gifted me!!!
She bought these lovely vintage like framed pictures at a Craft Fair....
I LOVE them!!!!
Aren't they sweet???
I hope you enjoyed seeing all my new treasures......
And I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY!!
I hope to be sharing the front of my house decorated for Christmas....
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

THURSDAY
Please take some time to visit these terrific hosts and all those joining in on the fun!
Debbie, you picked up so many really, really cute things. I think the smaller tree is a great idea. Our trees are huge and I'm trying to figure out a way to store them upright and wrap them so we can just pull them out and decorate them without having to lug them out of a tub, up the stairs and assemble them each year. You've got me thinking! Those girls are so cute and getting so big. Happy November!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your gingerbread kitchen with all the new additions! That leak really put a hole in your plans as well as the ceiling! I'm glad you are in the final stretch of fixing the damage.
ReplyDeleteYou have found some cute new things. You remind me, I need to get some lights soon. Don't you just hate kitchen repair? I need some painting done -- and help with it. (Ceiling.) Those framed vintage pictures are especially charming!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the haul, Debbie. Your new tree sounds perfect and decorating sure can be a lot of work
ReplyDeletesometimes! Your granddaughters are adorable and are getting so big.
You found some great items! You are going to be ready!!!
ReplyDeleteSusan,
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you are having a great week!!
Hugs,
Deb
