But first, I want to Thank Beverly, over at How Sweet The Sound, for featuring my post, The Spirit of Christmas Books 5-8, Christmas in July, from last week's Pink Saturday-Anything Goes Party!!
Thanks so much, Beverly!!
Please take some time to stop by and link up to this great party!
I have many Christmas books including the entire series called The Spirit of Christmas by Leisure Arts.
This series ran from 1987 to 2003 with a new book published every year.
I bought mine on Ebay.
I did share these books on this blog back in 2012 but I have decided to share them again because I LOVE them and I think that even though they are older, you can find inspiration in them!!
I do apologize for the photos because they are from 2012 and were taken with a different camera than I have now but I did not feel like taking the photos over again!!
Each book is divided into 3 sections:
The Sights of Christmas- Decorations
The Sharing of Christmas- Gifts
The Tastes of Christmas- Recipes
These books feature everything you can make by yourself from Decorations to Gifts to Recipes for Cookies, Brunches, Parties and Dinners!!
I am going to be sharing the decorating ideas from these books and in this post, you will be amazed at all the Christmas Eye Candy!!!!

Wow! So much inspiration in one post. Thank you for sharing so many ideas. I would just love to sit down with a big glass of iced tea and a bunch of stick it notes, marking the pages that inspire me. I'm deciding on a new Christmas tree. Ugh!! Have a wonderful week Debbie!

Hi Debbie, I have Spirit of Christmas Book 4Leasure Arts Inc. I cannot tell you how many times I refer to this book during the Christmas season and all year through. These books are amazing, my aunt gave it to me years ago as a gift. In the issue that you have I see such amazing inspiration, I just love that little kitchen tree with the wooden spoons and all. Merry Christmas in July to you! Lisa@ Sweet Tea N' Salty Air
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration, Debbie. I love Christmas and enjoy thinking about it while it's 100 degrees. :)

So much inspiration here and has me thinking . . . Christmas really is the best time of year for creating and crafting isn't it? Thank you for sharing!

Debbie, I have the entire set of books also! I have used them over the years and enjoy perusing them for ideas. Christmas is my favorite time of year but you have me beat with all of your trees and decorations. I am starting to gift some of my Christmas wreaths, it really has gotten to be too much - never thought I would say that. Enjoy!
