She changes the way it looks every year and this year she decided on a red and green theme.
We will start with the Christmas Tree in the Living Room........
In the several years that I have known Anne Marie, she always did her tree in pink. She did not have hardly anything red so she bought bunches of poinsettias from Michael's ,on sale of course, to stick into the tree.
She also used white beads and white beaded sprays.
She then made her own Christmas vintage card ornaments and addition to some store bought ones....
Looks lovely , doesnt it?
Stunning all lit up!!
This is a new acquistion that is on the left side of the Tree...
A phone table and chair and yes, she does have a phone inside the top part...
Next to the Tree on a table is this silver bridal basket...
The guys were watching the game......
I love these......
Look at the books with the jewels hanging off of them......
And this is the corner on the other side of the entertainment center.....
I love this chair and everything else in this vignette for that matter....
Tony wanted a cane this year......
I have to mention that on Sundays, Tony and Anne Marie can be found frequenting different kinds of shops and antique stores through out Pa. N.J. and into N.Y.
This cute child's desk is by the front door....
Isn't this sweet? I believe this is called "Dollie's Concert"
This is in the corner by the front door.....
And here is the front entrance.....
I do love antique sewing machines.....
Looking at the stairs and down the hallway.....
I must mention that Tony painted the walls to look like this........
Isn't he a gem?????
I do love what she did with the stair case this year....
This is another new piece found on their antique buying trips .......
At the end of the hall way.....
Her sofa table.....
Cute fairies.....
Here are the guys admiring the little phone desk and chair......
A carriage full of dolls.....
The coffee table......
Anne marie has many beautiful antique silver pieces.....
So pretty......
Another bridal basket by the entrance into the Dining Room.....
Looking from the Dining Room into the Living Room.....
The Dining Room Hutch....
Look at this......
More Bears.....
The buffet......
It actually is not a matching set ( but who cares!) and only cost $50!
This is the fireplace that if I had somewhere to put it in my house, I would want this one!!
They actually did not have room in the Living Room so that is why the fire place ended up in the Dining Room but I totally love it here!!
She did the windows on each side of the fire place , using gallery glass.......
Sorry , the mirror is reflecting the flash......
Look at the ceiling that Tony did......
When he plastered it, he added sparkles to the mixture so the ceiling sparkles in the light!!!!
And look at the rug!!!
Anne Marie always sets her table for every season and Holiday......
These dishes were bought at Kohl's several years ago......
And this is the corner over by the Living Room.....
They ordered pizza and subs......
You can see the Kitchen......
With their eyes closed, Joe and Tony look like they are enjoying the food!! Or at least dreaming about it!!
LOL!!
This is where the computer is in the Kitchen......
Love the clock.....
Again, Anne Marie did the window with Gallery Glass and I love the greenery and bells hanging....
We will go around her Kitchen counters.....
Beautiful antique silver.....
Over on the wall.....
And last year, Anne Marie inspired me to create a Manly looking dresser for Joe in our bedroom with these pieces in their downstairs bathroom......
I adore how she used the silver pieces to display everything......
Well, that concludes our tour of Tony and Anne Marie's stunning Home decorated for Christmas this year.
After losing her job last year, Anne Marie started a new job a few months ago that requires her to work longer hours so she did not have time to decorate some of the upstairs like she usually does.
Plus , she takes orders for cakes and cupcakes on the weekends, so she is really busy!
I guess you can see that we have similar tastes and why we are friends. I would be lost without her. Even though we do live about a half hour away from each other and don't get to see each other often because of our work schedules, we do email each other a lot.
Here are my Christmas gifts from Anne Marie....
A cute ice cream cone ornament that I will use on my Summer Tree in the Craft Room.....
A beautiful Christmas plate and tea towel.....
I love this sweet little Christmas pillow.....
In the bag is a bayberry candle with this saying....
And this is soap but we love the box!!
And this sweet snowman!!!!! Or I should say snow girl!!
And she also bought me some Valentine's Day things for my birthday in Jan. which I will share with you in a later post but I had to show you this!!
My One Little Word for 2013 is JOY!!!!
And I am over JOYed to have Anne Marie as my friend!!
Love ya, Anne Marie!!

wowzers!! That is one beautifully decorated home and it is very clear why you two are friends....how great for both of you!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Debbie, I came back to see how silly I was not to realize it was your friends home. I have to say she is a great inspiration for the maximum Christmas festivities, just like you. I'm thinking you inspire each other. Smile. It is a lesson in observation because you did mention Anne Marie's name several times. I can only add that both of your homes inspire me so very much. Thanks for your comment and letting me know my error. I visited so many Pinkies yesterday my mind was boggled I guess.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
Hugs, Jeanne
I love the red. The picture of Dollies concert is so unique, never seen a picture like that. I have a little play piano I bought for my daughter 38 years ago that looks sort of like it. I must show this to her.
ReplyDeleteI am going back to look again at all the pretties.
