Christmas Countdown Linky Party
I am linking up this post from last season about our visit to Country Folk Gifts. I am looking forward to seeing how it will be decorated for this Christmas Season!!
Thanks for the party, Sherry!!!
Original Post:
3 years ago, I posted a 3 Part Tour of a fantastic place all decked out for Christmas.......
Country Folk Store
Please click HERE to view......
Unfortunately, I have not been able to visit since that time BUT.........
Joe and I did take some much needed time to just relax and enjoy ourselves and made the 25 minute trip about 2 weeks ago and I was so glad that I did!!
As you can see Country Folk is a 3 story Barn.
It is located on the family farm.......
in Nescopeck, Pa.
You can see that it is a working farm down in a valley.......
In the Fall, This scene is spectacular with the Fall Foliage!
You would think it is in the middle of No Where.......
Well, actually, it is but it is a very popular place and has many loyal customers from all over the area!
When you step up on to the large Wrap Around Porch and open the door, you find all this!!
They shut down for the last 2 weeks of October and during that time, the entire place , including the Display House, is decorated for Christmas!!!
Yes, you read that right......The Display House!
Then they reopen on the first weekend of November for an Open House.
On Black Friday weekend, if you brought a canned good to be donated to the Needy, you received 25% off your purchase.
I was told that I should have visited before that event because many things were sold then.
However, it was still worth the trip to see all the Ideas and get some Inspiration!!
Will you look at this magnificent Tree????????
Love the colors......
A matching centerpiece...
I will let the pictures do most of the talking.....
Stunning.......
Totally LOVE this idea......
An old Cabinet.....
Made in to this!!
Byer's Choice Caroler section.......
Byer's Choice Carolers is big in this area since they are made here in Penna.
Now let's go into the Wine Room.....
Love the grape lights and wine bottles on the Tree!
Next, we will step down into the Fireplace Room.......
Sweet MAMA!!!
Have you been able to shut your dropped jaw yet???????
Spectacular!
Now I do want to say that a lot of this is not my own personal style but I can truly APPRECIATE how beautiful it looks and the thought and time and planning it took to create all these wonderful Masterpieces.....
Plus, I can envision my own things displayed in ways that have inspired me from my visit here.....
Let's go upstairs now.....
At the top of the stairs on the second floor.......
The Linen section.....
Under the Sea!!
A Victorian upside down Tree!!
Love this Room Setting......
Love these gold trees!
Another cute area .....
I can see these cupcake trees in my Kitchen.......
I would call this North Woods but I was told that the "Woodsy" look is now called the "New Country"
Another upside down Tree.......
Look at those dishes!!!!!!!!
Be still my heart!
See our car outside???
LOL!
LOVE,LOVE, LOVE these!!!
Liking those candles very much!!
And that concludes Part 1 of my Tour of Country Folk........
Amazing, wasn't it?
Please join me for Part 2 which will include the Display House!!!
Wait until you see the bathroom!!
3 years ago, I posted this picture from Country Folk Display House's bathroom and it has received over 60,000 hits!!!!!!
Wait until you see what they did with the bath tub this year!!!!
And the Bathroom is now GRAY!!!!
HINT: Who just painted their powder room Gray this year ???????? LOL!
I was in HEAVEN!!
Please click HERE for Part 2.....
HERE is a link to Country Folk Facebook site where there are pictures of the Store taken before a lot of things were bought and also some great Halloween decorations. And Please check out the Photo Albums for pictures of last year's Christmas displays!!
HERE is the link to the new web site for Country Folk......
I realize that I need to visit this fantastic place much more often!!

ReplyDeleteYou told me I would love the tour you had coming up....you were sooo right! Soft and romantic will always be my favorite way to decorate, but I am loving the woodsy stuff that is out this year. Can't wait to see the next part of the tour...hugs, Pennyo
ReplyDeleteGreat decorations!!!

Heavens, Debbie, what a wonderful place! I can imagine you spending an entire day in there having fun and getting ideas. I know my husband would have to get a crow bar to pry me away. There is definitely something for everyone's taste and style. I learned something new, because I did not know North Woods was now referred to as New Country. Still looks "woodsy" to me!
ReplyDeleteI hope to get up your way some day and will need to put this on my list of "must dos."
What a great post! I loved it!
That is so amazing store!!
ReplyDeleteWow !!!so beautiful !!!

Wow! I wish we had a store like that here is South Mississippi. Your pictures are fantastic and so many ideas. I could have spent and entire day in that store! I think my favorite picture is the one from the outside. I love wreaths on windows...nothing like a wreath on a window to say "Christmas"!
ReplyDeleteBlessings from Still Woods Farmhouse

Thanks for linking. It's hard to believe that is all one shop! I so have to do the snowman. I'll feature it next week as one of my favorites. I am going to do that for my Christmas parties!
ReplyDeleteI love the wreaths, Nativity scene and the cupcake trees.
ReplyDeleteI'm headed to part II
