If any of you are fans of Doctor Who ( one of Britain's most popular TV characters) on BBC America like I am, you will know what I am talking about.....
Every time River Song traveled back in time to assist the Doctor and she would always say"Spoilers!", when asked questions about what will happen in the future!
So that is why I named this post , Spoilers.
Edition:
Talk about a spoiler!!
This pic was taken this afternoon on 10/29 !!
More pics of our Halloween Snow Storm in upcoming posts!!!
I have the entire upstairs decorated for Christmas already.
So I thought that since it is a little early to start showing you everything, I would show you some Spoilers!
Just to tease you a bit.....
Did I spark your interest???
There is a total of 6 trees upstairs......
Last year , I had 14 trees , of various sizes, through out the house.
I am not sure if I may have that many this year as I am doing things a bit different here and there but it will be close.....
It will certainly feel more like Winter than Autumn around here this weekend as 3-10 inches of SNOW is predicted for the Pocono Mountains of Pa.!!!!! Yikes!!
I know there are other bloggers who decorate for Christmas with more than one tree also.
I am thinking of , MAYBE, and that is a big MAYBE, hosting a Christmas Blog Party called " Show Me Your Tree!"
What do you think about that type of party??????
I have never hosted a party and I do not know how to make a button for the party for Bloggers to display.
I also know nothing about Mr. Linky so these are things that if I host this party, I may need some help with so I would appreciate any advise.
Please let me know what you all think about a " Show Me Your Tree" Christmas Blog Party!
Next week, I will start showing you my Christmas decorations so stay tuned.......

ReplyDeleteHello Sweetie!
ReplyDeleteAnother Dr Who and River fan.
I think its a great idea but I'm also unsure of the technical side.
Oh, I'm really getting the itch to decorate now! I'm going to start next week...a little at a time...it will probably take almost two weeks to get it done. Your trees look sooo nice! A show me your tree party sounds great, but unfortunately I not in the know about how to host one either. Maybe it will show you how to at the Mr. Linky? I have made a button for my blog, but I can't seem to find the tutorial I used, but I found another link to a tutorial you might want to check out for getting the button made for your party:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mypregnancybaby.com/blog-buttons-tutorial-how-to-make-blog-button-code/
Hope this helps. It sounds confusing, and I uploaded my image to photobucket to get the html code for it. If I can do this I know you can! If I come across my original tutorial, I'll let you know.
Have a great weekend Debbie!
Hello Debbie,
ReplyDeleteIt's looking very festive at your house. Love it! I think a party is a great idea. Have a wonderful Pink weekend, dear friend.
Blessings and hugs,
Sandi
Love your blog!! Dr. Who..... that show is has been a favorite of ours since the 70's.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter had to go to London on business and she brought back Dr. Who goodies.
I love your spoilers and can't wait to see it all!
ReplyDeleteI usually do 7 major trees and several minor trees so I'd love to participate in a tree party!
Wow!! It is looking like Christmas at your house (upstairs anyway)! How could you not spark my interest! I am looking forward to seeing the rest, too.
ReplyDeleteBtw, this will be my first TSO concert. I can hardly wait! Thanks for your comment on my blog!
Take care.
Cheryl
Well, I posted and then had to sign in and lost all my comments.
ReplyDeleteI am British and love Dr. Who. Used to watch it when a kid - the original Dr.Who, he was old even then.
Can't wait for Christmas to display all the snowmen that I have collected since January, about 100, and all the shelves I bought and painted for displaying them. You were my inspiration. Thanks Debbie
Happy Pink Saturday Debbie Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful share. Everything looks so gorgeous over here. I love seeing your trees. How pretty they each are.The angels and the santas are so pretty. I see a little bit of Steelers hanging in there as well.
I would be so tickled to show my tree(s). I have several and a new one in mind this year. I have several smaller ones that I decorate in different rooms, and usually one or two larger ones. Let me know if you decide to host this party.
Have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
That's some wonderful PINK! It works so well with all of the seasons!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! As always, you are inspiring and just amazing with all your Christmas beauties! I would love to participate in your Christmas tree party...we'll have ours up about the first week of December! Speaking of parties, I've just begun hosting a homemaking weekend link-up at my blog. Anything related to homemaking is welcome and I regularly feature blogs that I find to be extra special! I have always enjoyed reading yours and I think you'd be a great addition to the party! If you're interested, there's a button at the top of my sidebar and the first link up is on today's post. Have a lovely weekend!

Oh, I also forgot to say that I love the Dr. Who reference! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie...
ReplyDeleteI thought I would visit with you at your Christmas blog this time, my friend! Ohhhh my goodness...your "sneak peeks" of Christmas 2011 are fabulous!!! I love all that pretty-n-pinkness! Love the Santa in white with the pretty pink! He's gorgeous! Well dear lady, I do say that you have "got it going on"! To have your upstairs decorated for Christmas already! I think that's a great idea! I always hate putting all the hours in...decorating for Christmas...and it's just not up for long!
Wow...I am doing good to get my one little tree decorated! I bet your home is FABULOUS at Christmas time, dear friend! I can't wait to see more! Ohhh..and I think you definitely should host a tree decorating party! Sounds like great fun!!! Do it..DO IT!!!
Well dear friend, I will be checking back with your Christmas blog often! Thanks for sharing your pretties with us! I also wanted to say thank you for coming by and taking a peek at my autumn table! I sooo enjoyed your visit and very sweet note, my friend!
Warmest wishes,
Chari
I love your blog - a Christmas tree party sounds great. I usually only have one of my own but help/supervise the youth group to decorate the church tree and the littlies to do the Sunday School one as well. Lots of fun is had by all and we end up with some magnificent trees, particularly the one the Sunday School little people decorate :D)
ReplyDeletecheers,
Diana
I am so excited to see that you have already started decorating! I can see that everything looks magical and so very beautiful already!
ReplyDeleteI would love to join in with a Christmas tree party. I can also try to help you with a few things like making a button. I can help you with the html code and all you need to do is follow some simple instructions.
If you go to the linking site that I use for my parties the site is very helpful in explaining what to do. It is free to use the site if you want simple linkies but you have to pay if you want pictures with your links (I do that). Anyway, let me know what I can do help and count me in for joining in!
Best wishes,
Natasha.

Oh Debbie you have just got me really itching to get started on my decorating for Christmas. Everything looks so beautiful and I am looking forward to seeing lots more.
ReplyDeleteA Show your tree party sounds like a lot of fun. I have run across a blog that shows how to make a button and do linky. I think I may have added her to my list. I will see what I can find for you.
Oh did I mention I am doing the large entrance tree this year at the senior center? We are having a tree decorating contest. I have everything bought other than the lights. Hope I can find enough in my stache to not have to spend any more money.
I hope you have a great week end. Am in cleaning mode here. My Grandson will be home from the Marines on leave next Sat. and Sunday we will be having an early Thanksgiving. Going to have a housefull.

Your Christmas decorations always bring joy to my heart. I really love all your teasers, right after Halloween I will start getting out some decorations. I've never seen Dr. Who but several of my friends keep talking about it. Have a super weekend.

A party is always a good thing and fun, too. I decorate very sparingly as there is just hubby and me and everyone is far, far away. But...I will share the little bit that I do and thoroughly everyone elses!
ReplyDeleteKeep me posted!
Your house always looks amazing!

I have to mention that my boys are bummed we didn't get any snow after hearing about it in your neck of the woods on the radio. It sure makes it more Christmas-y! They love sledding and then having some hot chocolate to warm them up. Did the snow stay?
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely decorations for Christmas! I love to collect unique and interesting Christmas tree ornaments - handmade or store bought and you have such delightful ones. And yes, that sounds like a delightful and happy holiday blog party idea. Have a blessed week! :)
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas ornaments are real pretty, Debbie. That photo with snow looks awesome, looks like a Christmas card,...Christine
ReplyDeleteI think a "show me your tree" party would be fun! It's not a competition, right? You have a gorgeous head start!

Love your Christmas Spoilers. Nothing like a little (or a lot) of snow to get you in the Christmas mood! Also watched Dr. Who way back when and still watch now!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, thank you for your teaser photos, they have really got me in the mood to decorate when I go home tomorrow. Like Sharon you have also inspired me to decorate more at Christmas time with the things I love. As a result of this I have been looking for more Nativity Scenes and have added a few to my collection. Tomorrow before I leave to fly home I am going back to a shop where I seen a super nice one and I am certain after thinking about it that I should buy it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to join in with your Christmas tree party, I really do think I will have more than my little tree up this year after following your blog.
I look forward to seeing more of your photos another time.
Debbie, I know that early snow is really making your juices flow, and you hare probably itching to start your Christmas decorating! It will be fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your lovely post at Potpourri Friday!
Wow, that snow is something. I just put my tree up this week, but right now it is bare. LOL It will be a work in progress. You have made great progress! Thank you for linking it up with Home Sweet Home!
