Christmas Kitchen Beverage Bar, Gingerbread Village and More, 2021

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

Just a reminder, I will be NOW posting 3 times a week as I realized that in some rooms, there is just too much to share in one post SO until the New Year, I will be posting on SUNDAYS, TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS so be sure to check back on those days to see a new post......

Today, I will be sharing the rest of my Kitchen all decorated for Christmas....

Thanks to Angie, over at God's Growing Garden and Marci, over at Stone Cottage Adventures, for choosing my post, Late Fall Foliage, Landscape and Garden Update, to be one of the Garden features from the month long You're the Star Blog Hop!!!!

Thanks so much, Angie and Marci!

Please Stop by and link up to this charming party!!!

Joe had strict orders not to buy anymore Christmas decorations so what does he buy???

Candles and Christmas towels!!

Only Joe can find Christmas towels with the letter B on them!!

And I will use the candles.....

He bought them in Big Lot's.....

I am skipping personal notes for today as I already did this entire post and it disappeared.....

I had to do it all over again!!

Ugh!!

In my previous post, I shared this area of the Kitchen....

And I also shared a few crafts that I did recently.....

Click HERE if you missed that post....

We will start where I left off in my last post....

At the stove....

A sign I bought in Gabes.....

On the counter next to the stove....

I bought the Gingerbread sign at Target and embellished it with red and white pipe cleaners...

I put my Kitchen utensils in a Christmas Cookie Jar, also bought at Target...

Where the window once was before we made the patio in to the Den.......

I still treat it as a window....

On a previous post, I shared that I decided to take apart this swag that I used for many years.......

I used some of the floral picks from the old swag to create a new swag.....

I can now leave my "Friends and Family Gather Here" sign up....

 On the side.....

 The chandy.....

 The other side.....

On the sill......

Joe, Jim and Danielle couldn't find the Gingerbread mugs I wanted in Target one day and here one of Jim's co workers bought them!!

Jim was able to find one more Mrs. Gingerbread mug for me which he gifted me and also ordered the Mr. Gingerbread mug for me (which I am still waiting for) and the matching Gingerbread House mug....

He could not get them through the Target site so they ordered them from Amazon....

I placed the red tinsel trees that I just bought in Ocean State Job Lot in the mugs.....

The other Tree in the Kitchen is a vintage tree I found in my neighbor Elly's attic when we cleaned out her house for her sons and I placed it in a vintage enamelware pot........

I decorated it with gingerbread and candy ornaments.....

This is what Mr. Gingerbread mug looks like.....

Christmas towels and rugs......

 In this corner....

You can see where I used one of the Christmas towels with the B on it ...

I added candy picks to the wire tea cup and the peppermint candy covers from an old light set to the light set already on the tea cup.....

Another sign I bought at Gabes....

I also added a few floral picks from the old swag to this wreath that I made last year....

My small Beverage Bar.....

I will keep this sign up all Winter.....

I decided to turn these canisters around....

And taped the covers from candy boxes to the back of them.....

My Christmas mugs....

Sugar is kept in the Snowman Tea Pot......

And my coffee creamers and artificial sweeteners packets in these 2 Lenox bowls that were gifted to me by a friend.....

I do not have much room like others do in their Kitchens to set up a large Coffee Bar or Hot Cocoa Bar because my Kitchen is very small with limited counter space so I used this small shelf which I rearranged for Christmas.....

My flavored Teas.....

I saved Heinz gravy jars to put flavored coffee in......

Swiss Miss, tea bags......

Chocolate and peppermint candy spoons.....

Different chocolate wafers for dipping in coffee.....

And marshmallows.....

On the top of the refrigerator.....

 Is a Gingerbread Village.....

Proof that I started crafting when I was a little kid, as I traced these from a coloring book that I had, on to felt to make refrigerator magnets....

55 years later, they still grace my refrigerator.....

In the door way to the Dining Room....

The counter bar.....

I decorated the garland above the counter bar with Gingerbread Men...

 And candy ornaments......

On this side of what was a pass through into the Dining Room.....

One of the candles that Joe bought at Big Lot's.....

The other side.....

I could not find a runner for the counter bar with the colors that I wanted in a plaid so I use a rag rug.....

I made the cafe curtain from vintage Christmas fabric.....

This side of the counter bar.....

The coffee and hot chocolate sign will stay here all Winter...

 A vintage Christmas apron.....

And that completes my tour of my Christmas Kitchen for this year.....

  1. I love your beverage bar. We aren't having a lot of folks over this year -- we are actually going out of town for the holiday -- but I will look at making on of my own next year! Very cool!

  2. Wow, Debbie. You have so many goodies in such a small space. Loving all the red, which I am using in most rooms this year! Fun and I bet your kitchen has to smell good, too. We are getting a new furnace/AC/air purifier tomorrow, so Christmas is disrupted a bit! Hugs, and Happy Holidays! Sandi

  3. For some reason, I have no memory of that adorable Gingerbread Village on top of your refrigerator! It is just wonderful! How could I forget something so cute. I am going to be studying every detail.

I want to do a beverage bar for the holidays, too. I thought I would start this year, but I guess I will work on it for next year. I have the same space issues. I have a few ideas and your suggestions are very helpful.

  4. LOVING all the pops of green and red in your kitchen, Deb! The gingerbread theme is amazing. I can't believe you have so many different pieces. I adore your teacup chandy too. As always everything is so cute and creative. I don't know how you do it but I'm thankful you share your ideas with us. They're totally fabulous! Big hugs, CoCo
