And WELCOME to the start of my Annual Christmas Home Tour of our townhouse decorated for Christmas!!!
I decorate each room for Christmas in one way or another and have at least one Tree in each room......
Last year, I had a total of 21 Trees in all sizes.......if I decorated it with something than I counted it, no matter the size......
I was finished decorating the upstairs before October 31st, Halloween........
So let's start the Tour this year upstairs.......
As you walk up the steps, this is what you see......
Remember that I am a Victorian soul so I subscribe to the " More is More" philosophy of the Victorians and I decorate my home that way....
I used to hang garland on the railing but since I am in need of a knee replacement, I need to hang on to the railing!!!
I hung 2 stockings that I embellished.......
I bought them at Burlington many years ago on Clearance for $1.00 each!!
In the center of the railing, I hung a white and gold Santa head with a bow underneath it........
I primarily used gold and white decorations in the hall way......
In the corner at the top of the stairs........
Last year was the first year that I really decorated the upstairs hallway.......
I wanted to use up florals that I had in my stash while I was doing Craft Fairs as a vendor......
Christmas floral rings on the sconces with a gold glittered deer head ornament......
I added greenery that I bought a few years ago on Clearance in Michael's for 90% off to and existing floral swag above the mirror.......
And added a bow made from white and gold ribbon......
The angel always hangs here.......
I replaced the florals in the Home Interiors planters with an arrangement that I made......
Again, I used florals that I already had........
The corner shelves.......
I display my collection of Luster ware on shelves in the upstairs hall way......
This gold glitter Tree was one of 3 that I bought in Sears last year on Clearance after Christmas for 75 % off.........
I hung a gold glitter ornament on the small mirror......
I added gold ball ornaments and greenery to the shelves.......
And some battery operated candles that come on by timer......
I bought this nativity in Target many years ago for 90% off after Christmas........
I placed a gold tree inside this cup........
And some gold berries........
A Bearington Angel Bear and another angel on each side of the corner shelf........
A gold star bought at Dollar Tree hangs on the antique mirror.......
More greenery, gold ornaments and berries and a gold reindeer were added to this shelf.......
This picture frame holds my collection of vintage postcards from where we live.......
Over to the right........
A bow added to this sconce......
On a pedestal is a LED lighted branch Tree that comes on by timer.......
I decorated it with some gold ornaments so since I decorated it, this is Tree #1!!
Another gold glitter tree bought at Sears and a gold church.......
This is the door way to the Master Bedroom.......
I have wreaths that I made hanging on all the doors upstairs.......
Each wreath matches the color of the Christmas decorations in that room.......
Over on the wall by the Master Bedroom.......
A swag that I made........
Another gold glitter deer head ornaments and more greenery.......
Looking toward the other 2 rooms and bathroom.......
The wreath on the door to the Sitting Room......
It matches the decorations in my Sitting Room......
The marks on the door is from the stickers that my son had on the door!!!!
Across from the other 2 rooms........
More of my Luster ware collection.......
Greenery, a bow and a gold glitter ornament on this mirror.......
The 3rd gold glitter tree that I bought at Sears last year.......
Ornaments, greenery and a deer and sled were added to this shelf......
Again, I added greenery, berries, ornaments sleds and deer to this shelve also.......
Battery operated candles.......
The doors to my Craft Room and the Bathroom......
The wreath of the Craft Room door........
And on the Bathroom door......
I left the door shut so I could show you the wreaths......
I hope you enjoyed the tour of our hall way upstairs......
By just adding a few simple things, I made it look like Christmas upstairs in the hallway ........
Continuing along my Christmas Home Tour, I will be sharing the upstairs Bathroom decorated for Christmas.......
Click HERE to see Christmas in the Upstairs Bathroom.....
I hope you will come by and visit again!!
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

Your use of gold and white Christmas decor in the upstairs hallway is so pretty You have a gorgeous collection of Luster ware, I don't remember seeing it before. I have so many Christmas wreaths, I don't know why I haven't thought of hanging some of them on the bedroom doors, may have to borrow that idea! hugs....
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I loved all the angels. The gold things go well with your lusterware. So pretty. I do not know how you do it. :):) But it is so pretty . Blessings, xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteYour spaces look so fun, luxe and festive at the same time! I don't know how you do it. I like the idea of having a tree in each room, too. I'll have to explore that option in my own home. Thanks for the inspiration!
