Christmas in the Dining Room, Christmas Home Tour 2015

Welcome to Christmas in the Dining Room!!
I always say that the Dining Room is the most Victorian looking room in our townhouse!!
For Christmas , I have decorated it in Gold, Pink and White.
This is Tree #12!!
Next to the Tree is a small table.......
The paper mache Santa was bought at Salvation Army for $5.00!!
I filled this crystal compote with ornaments......
This Vintage looking Angels were part of a Set of 12 ornaments that I bought on Ebay for a mere $9.99!!
Underneath the table is a 2 tired serving piece that fits there perfectly!!
Back to the Tree.......
At the base of the Tree.....
The Tree is topped with a Bow that I made out of 3 different types of ribbon......
I bought these pink branches at Big Lots on Clearance last year to tuck into the top of the Tree.....
You can see that they match the Berry Picks and Beaded Garland , also bought at Big Lots.
 And white fluffy garland!!

Also tucked into the Tree is Baby's Breath Picks!
And see the gold Rose ornaments???
They were new at Big Lots this year.....
There are still many Victorian style ornaments on this Tree.....
I have hung window inserts from old doors to divide the Dining Room from the Living Room
I hung a pretty stocking and a few ornaments on this one by the Tree.....
Looking toward the Kitchen........
Bows made out of pink glittered ribbon from Michaels were added to the sconces......
And a few ornaments were placed on this shelf.....
The top of the Curio.......
A white Feather Tree, 2 Santas and a Santa Head on top of a pink mercury glass Vase.
Angel Wings hang from the top.......
My "Sitting" Santa is on the right.....
On the shelf to the left of the Curio, sits a white and gold Santa.......
Ornaments and beads were used to make the inside of the Curio look "Christmasy"!
Next to the Curio , on a marble topped table is my Funeral Basket which I decorate for every Holiday.....
Some Snow Babies are the base......
I added a Wreath to the Garland that hangs over the "faux" window......
A Wreath that I made......
A white candle ornament is clipped to the center.....

Looking back at the Tree.....
I can't "set" the Dining Room table because we eat here every day.......
I have a pink table cloth on it with gold Poinsettia Place Mats, bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond.....
I made the Centerpiece by gluing a Dollar Tree Vase on to a charge plate .
And placing a flameless candle on a timer inside the vase and a wreath that I made over the vase!!
The Chandy hangs above the table.......
It is decorated with the same white fluffy garland used on the Tree and pink ornaments and white chandy ornaments!!
On the small cabinet that my Dad made to match Joe's Grandmother's Dining Room furniture......
The Hurricane lamps came from Salvation Army.......

The Santa, that sits on a Victorian melodion was bought at a Church Flea Market......

This house and church were bought at Dollar Tree .........
I painted them, added Snow Tex and glittered them!!
If you missed that post, please click HERE

Next we move over to the other corner by the Kitchen......
A Swag and a Tussie Mussie that I made.....
I added more clip Candle ornaments to the Swag too!!
A Lenox Santa that was gifted to me, sits on this shelf.....
The Buffet.......
Trees # 13 and 14!
These Trees were bought a few years ago in J.C.Penney's .

They had battery operated LED lights on them that did not work this year so I painstakingly took them off , saved the clips and re-wired the Trees with electric Warm White LED lights and I like them better because they are brighter!!
On the floor in the corner by the Buffet.......

This Angel was gifted to me a long time ago......
Another white and gold Santa sits on this shelf.....
Both gold Trees are decorated with pink ornaments and white snow flakes!

And a pink star on top!
These white and gold figures are part of 2 sets bought many years ago at Sam's Club!
The gold deer were bought at Walmart a few years ago.....
The snow houses were a gift.......

Battery operated lights are strung through out the Buffalo Snow.....

I will be doing an Evening Tour post of the whole house lit up at night sometime between Christmas and New Year's....
Between the Buffet and the Hutch.....
The shelf above the Curio....

The top of the Curio
On the floor......
Both bought at a Church Flea Market!
The corner by the Living Room...
 The top of the Hutch.....

More of those vintage style ornaments!!
Hanging on the other Window Divider is a Wreath that I made.......
And that completes my Tour of Christmas in the Dining Room!!
Next up on our Christmas Home Tour is the Living Room!!

 And Trees # 15
 And #16!

  7. Oh wow Debbie! How beautiful everything looks, especially all of those pink ornaments on your tree, and the white ones, and the gold ones! I think my favorite is that glass white church, wow! And your chandelier, you really dressed her right up! Your gold trees with the pink balls is great too! It must take you forever to decorate, it takes me forever and I don't have near as much as you do. You do a spectacular job!
Wishing you and yours a blessed and Happy Christmas!

  8. Such a pretty tree, Debbie. I love all the little houses and your bow on the tree is lovely. You must have a lot of energy to decorate the way you do plus work at such a demanding job, even if it is part time now. Merry Christmas!

    Blessings,
    Sandi
