Happy Rudolph Day!!
Yes, it is the 25th of the month meaning it's Rudolph Day!!!
I was trying to decide what type of Christmas post I would do for October's Rudolph Day.....
I decided to share a few ornaments that I have dabbled with......
Nothing fancy......
I decided to add a simple ornament to the center of these sparkly green snowflakes.......
First , I wanted to cut off the "stem" of the ornament......
I used my trusty snips to do so.......
These are Shatterproof ornaments and they held true to their name!!
Then I just used hot glue and attached them to the center of the snowflake.......
I also had a few smaller green ornaments......
They look a bit more "dressed up", don't you think?
Now........
Just what did I do with these ornaments in October?????????
Well, I will let you in on my Secret........
Which is now decorated for CHRISTMAS??????????
Have you guessed my Secret?????
All this past week, I have been decorating the upstairs for CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
So even though the Living Room is all decked out for Fall........
Yes, I have a Fall Tree in the Living Room.....
Please click HERE if you would like to see my Elegant Fall Living Room......
And the Dining Room is decorated for Halloween......
With a Halloween Tree and Village........
Please click HERE if you would like to see my Spooky Halloween Dining Room......
The Upstairs is decorated for Christmas!!!!!!!
Well, almost......
So I guess you can say that our home now has a Split Personality!!!
LOL!!
I have a few more things to do and I will be finished with my Christmas decorating upstairs!!!!!!
Here are a few Sneak Peaks.......
One more to go.......
Upstairs that is......
Why so early, you ask?
For the past 3 years, I did not get to decorate the house to the extent that I usually did but this year, I have relieved myself from all of the responsibilities that I took on over the past few years so now I am free to play!!
Right after Halloween, I will start to decorate the downstairs for Christmas.....
After all, there are only 60 days left to Christmas 2015!!!
In about 2 weeks, I will start posting here, on my Christmas Blog, as I start to show you how I decorated for Christmas this year....
I will be linking over here from my regular Blog, Debbie-Dabble also.......
So I hope you will come by and visit again!!
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie, That white Christmas tree is so pretty, I don't know if I would ever take it down. I just thought of something...I bet I could spot you in the stores...you would be the sparkly lady...those snowflakes have always left glitter on me. LOL. Bless you, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteGood for you, you're off to a good start, and everything looks lovely! I plan to start decorating my back rooms next weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy Rudolph day to you. Your trees and creativity are glorious.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie. You must be thrilled that you have the time to do everything like you like(love) to. Good idea to get the upstairs done ahead of time. Now all you have to do is close the doors, draw the drapes and then when you are ready turn on the lights! Everyone will get the happy feelings and know that it is Christmas. It always looks so pretty.. Happy Rudolph Day to you..Judy
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie : ) So glad to see You're still up to entertaining Us fans. I like the way You framed Your scones, great idea, and of course I love Your purple wreath.Hoping You're well and happy.Keep up Your strength and don't over work Yourself these next few months.Hugs Denise
ReplyDeleteWell, Debbie that is so very cool! Great idea on how to use the gold snowflakes and ornaments! You always do such a nice job on your decorating, love it! Thanks for the heads up to come over here. I do come over just may not comment sometimes. I appreciate you coming over to my blog. I look forward to seeing your added decorations over the next couple months. Take care.

I need to read better. I didn't realize it was Rudolph Day. I know you said that but it didn't 'click' when I came over here yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI'm not actually decorating 'yet' but I'm trying to figure out what I can use for more than one theme. I have added my red candles to the Fall mantle. And I really like it. I have such a small space it's really hard!
I do have a secret too I'm hopin' to reveal on next Sunday the 1st.
Lovin' your inspriration! Enjoy your decorating!
Happy Rudolph Day! Love your Dabbled up snowflakes. Good way to amp up the bling. I bet you are sparkly yourself these days - that glitter sticks! My husband told me people at work thought he was spending a lot of time at stripper bars because he often had a bit of glitter on his person.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you now have time to enjoying decorating to the extend you wish. Everything looks wonderful!
Beautiful, Debbie!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all your trees and can't wait to see your Christmas decorating!!!
Hugs
Julie
Love your Christmas décor! I can't wait to tell my husband that someone I "know" already has 5 trees up. He thinks I'm crazy because I want to get an early start, but I put up lots of decorations and I want to be able to enjoy them when I am done. I love to fancy up those snowflakes with vintage images and trim. Can't wait to see what else you do! Mary - masteinbrink@Msn.com
ReplyDeleteHappy Rudolf Day! Your white tree is my favorite.....for now....but I will need to see them all before I pick just one! hugs...
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love Rudolph?! :) LOVE him! How fun! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!

ReplyDeleteHugs
Alessandra
Hi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy! Love the pink of course. I haven't started to decorate but will soon.
I thought I would let you know that starting Monday, November 2, I am starting a new party. I am combining my two parties, Tea Time Tuesday and my previous HOME party into one party where you can share anything pertaining to your home, Tea Time, home decor, etc.... I am making an announcement tomorrow about it. Would love it if you linked up. Have a wonderful day.
Autumn blessings,
Sandi
Wow Debbie your upstairs is decorated so pretty already for Christmas. Less stress for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this at Cooking and Crafting with J & J.
Wow, your trees are gorgeous, and it is obvious you love decorating them.......have to say I am happy I only have one tree to decorate, because that is my hardest thing to decorate for some strange reason, as I absolutely love Christmas and love and get such enjoyment out of decorating the house.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to get an early start. I typically start the day after Thanksgiving rather than shopping, but in the last 4 yrs, we have added a
daughter in love to the family, so many times we are celebrating her birthday
that comes right after Thanksgiving, so don't want the house all torn up
until after that.....so I start a lil later than usual but leave it up
longer too..........lol
Merry Christmas to you...............and enjoy your Christmas decorating.
and thanks for sharing your upstairs secret.......
Blessings, Nellie
That is a lot of decorating! Six trees! Wow. Sounds like you are having fun this season getting back to the level of decorating you enjoy. Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteWow Debbie, you have really gotten a lot done. I love the white feather tree! Christmas will be here before we know it. I will wait a few more weeks to start. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
My goodness, your trees are all beautiful. I'm lucky to get one tree up. It's obvious you love decorating!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where you get the energy to put up all these decorations! I love the tree with the bow that looks like ribbon candy and a little envious because I am "bow challenged" and no matter how many people show me what to do for the perfect bow it just comes out wrong. Yours look perfect!
ReplyDeleteRobin
Beautiful decorations! Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday:-)
ReplyDeleteI love the Rudolph Ornaments. How creative! Thanks for sharing at Snickerdoodle Sunday. I'm looking forward to seeing all of your gorgeous Christmas decorations.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, your charming Christmas village is my favorite! Thanks so much for sharing @Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteI am starting collect for a Christmas village myself this year!! It will be my first and hopefully many more to come! Thanks for sharing on My 2 Favorite Things on Thursday!! Hope to see you again this week!! Pinned!
ReplyDeletepopping back to mention this post is my feature for SYC this week on the Christmas blog.Cheers
