19 Christmas Trees 2012!

I am linking this post from last Season up to Christmases Past Party over at The Tablescaper's......

I am linking this post from last season up to The Christmas in July Linky party!!
And to Motivational Monday who is celebrating Christmas in July this month...
ORIGINAL POST........

I had 19 Trees last year......

Here is the original post.....

This year I was able to display 19 Christmas Trees in our Home for the Christmas Season.

Even though I shared them with you in posts I did showing each room of our home decorated for Christmas, I would like to share all the Trees together with you here in one post.

If it has lights or ornaments on it , I count it!!

But first , I would love to tell you about something.....

The local NBC affiliate, WBRE, has a daily show called PA Live!. Every Tuesday, they feature The Blog of the Week, based on a site called  NEPA Blogs.
A Debbie-Dabble Christmas will be featured as The Blog of the Week on Tuesday, December 18!!!

Here is what appeared on the site NEPA Blogs about A Debbie-Dabble Christmas:

"The second blog is one that was mentioned a while ago, and is by crafter, decorator, and Christmas enthusiast Debbie Dabble! She has two blogs, but this one - A Debbie-Dabble Christmas - is dedicated entirely to Christmas! Debbie Dabble is into Christmas in a huge way. Visit her site to marvel at her amazing decorations, or to get decorating ideas for yourself - or if you don't feel like decorating for Christmas, just leave her site up on your computer and you'll be ahead of the game! Look for this blog to be featured on PA Live! on Tuesday, December 18!"

"A Debbie-Dabble Christmas

I am so excited and flattered about this honor!!

I will post the video after December 18!!

I also want to Thank Dixie and Dottie over at their Blog for featuring my post,
Christmas Home Tour, Front Porch , during their Count down to Christmas Party

Thanks so much, Dottie and Dixie!!

I also want to Thank Brenda over at A Cozy little House for featuring my post
Christmas Home Tour 2012, Part 6, the Den and Doll House  from last week's Tweak It Tuesday Party!

Thanks so much , Brenda!!!

Now back to my 19 trees.....

So we start in the Living Room with 3 trees....

Tree #1.....
This tree is  7 feet and is decorated in mostly red, gold and green ornaments with a nostalgic or Victorian style....
I have used mostly all warm white LED lights on my larger trees this year.....
I also have candle ornaments that clip to the branches on this tree , giving it a very Victorian feel.....
Love the glow of a tree at night....
 The village underneath the Tree....
Trees #2 , #3 and #4 are 3 small lighted trees that are part of a vignette on top of our TV stand....
Now we move in the Dining Room where there are 3 more trees....

My Dining Room is  decorated , normally, in Victorian style and this is my very pink Victorian looking tree.

 Tree # 5.....
It is a 7 ft. slim tree....
There is a set of white and a set of pink rose lights along with LED lights on this tree....
On my Buffet, I have 2 more trees....
These 2 Alpine trees are decorated with snowflakes from the Dollar store and plastic icicles that Joe bought at a flea market for 25 cents!

  Trees # 6 and # 7......
Next up is my Kitchen Tree.....

Tree # 8...

See it on the left side of my Kitchen Hutch....
This is a 3 ft. pathway tree with a spike that you would normally stick in the ground...

I stuck it into my milk can......
It is decorated with Candy and Gingerbread Man ornaments....
 And peppermint candy lights.....
From the Kitchen, we now go into my Powder Room.....

Tree # 9...
I have decorated my Powder Room for over 10 years in Snow Buddies....
This tree is actually wired into the shelf and the tray behind it so it does not fall over!!
Besides Snow Buddy ornaments, there are snowflakes, blue berries, silver balls and blue icicles on this tree...
This year is the first time that I was able to light up this tree....

I used Phillips LED Battery operated lights.....
One set of white and one set of blue....
 And lit at night......
Now we will go into the Den for the remaining 3 trees, making it 12 trees downstairs.....
This is a 4 ft. table top tree....

Tree # 10....
This room is decorated in Burgundy, Blue and  Ivory as is this tree......
I also have my Thomas Kinkade ornaments on this tree....
Also in this room on top of my computer armoire is a metal tree that I have decorated with ornaments that are children from the 50's and  carolers....

Tree # 11......
And I have some Thomas Kinkade houses displayed at the base of this tree.....
And now for the last tree downstairs....

This is my Victorian Doll House, Nelson Crest.....

See the tree through the Parlor window.....
I made this tree for the Parlor in my Doll House.....

Tree # 12......
Fits perfectly....
Now, let me take you upstairs......

There are 7 more trees upstairs.....

In the Master Bedroom are 2 trees....

Tree # 13....
This tree, I call the Tree of my Childhood because with the vintage ornaments and the tinsel, it reminds me of the tree in my parent's home when I was a child.
The vintage ornaments and toppers were bought at yard sales and flea markets.
Unfortunately , my Mother threw our ornaments out....

The red barn and blue house were actually mine as a child and were under my tree....

The other Plasticville pieces and Putz house are from flea markets and yard sales.....
 This is Joe's Pittsburgh corner...

We have season tickets for the Pittsburgh Penguins AHL team, the Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins.
I decorated a feather tree for him with sports ornaments and penguins!!

Tree # 14.....
If you are wondering about the Mail Man sign, Joe is a Mail Man....
Now we move into the Guest Room where there are also 2 trees....

This was my son Jim's room......
I finally got the white tree I always wanted this year....

Tree# 15.....

 Love it lit at night.....
And I also have a small tree on my Fake mantle in this room.....

Tree # 16......
This tree sits on a cake stand with a pink wreath around the bottom and is decorated with crocheted snow flakes that my MIL bought for my at a Flea Market.... $3.00 for the whole bag of them!!
And in my very small Bathroom, I have a small white feather tree....
It is on top of the shelf unit....

Tree # 17.....
 Decorated in purple ornaments.....
And the last room upstairs, is my Craft Room which used to be my son Joey's room.....

There are also 2 tree in this room....

Tree # 18......
I call this tree my Shabby Chic tree because of the white, pink and now I have added green....
This is a 6 ft. slim tree.......
And there are white and pink lights on it.....
Also in this room, on top of a shelf that houses a lot of my craft supplies, is my last tree,Tree # 19.....
It is a small white tree decorated with mini Victorian ornaments and angels.....
I hoped you enjoyed seeing my 19 Trees for 2012!!

I am often asked if I live in a large home because I have 19 trees for Christmas....

I actually live in a small townhouse!!   When there is a will, there is a way.....

And I decorate trees for all holidays and keep several trees up year round...

  3. Great summary post of your Christmas trees, Debbie. It would be hard for me to select a favorite, but amongst my favorites would be the white tree decorated in pinks, the gingerbread/candy tree, and the tree with the village underneath. Your home is so beautiful for Christmas, Debbie. You should do a home tour! We go to a friend's home every year where we begin with wine, then a nice meal, then a tour of the home. He has 20+ trees, 1000 Santas, 30+ nativities, and many angels. It's so much fun! And the trees/themes are different every year. He even has some upside down trees displayed, all of this in his 1895 home. You would love it! Congratulations on your blog being featured. That is a real honor, and well-deserved. Maybe the local tv station will come through your home and shoot some footage. I'm excited about your decor and see a lot of possibilities for publicity, even income (house tours). Merry Christmas!
