Upstairs Bathroom, Christmas Home Tour, 2017

Welcome to my 2nd post of my Annual Christmas Home Tour!!!!

I decorate each room for Christmas in one way or another and have at least one Tree in each room......

Last year, I had a total of 21 Trees in all sizes.......if I decorated it with something then I counted it, no matter the size......

I was finished decorating the upstairs before October 31st, Halloween........

That is why I started the My Christmas Home Tour by showing you how I decorated the Upstairs Hall way........
Click HERE if you missed that post.......

I want to Thank Kathy, over at Life on Lakeshore Drive, for featuring my post from over on my regular blog, Harvest Tea, Hostess Tables, from last week's Bouquet of Talent Link Party!!
Thanks so much, Kathy!!

Please stop by and link up to this lovely party!

Today, I will be sharing how I decorated the upstairs Bathroom for Christmas......

I always say that our upstairs Bathroom is the smallest bathroom known to man!!!

To the right when you walk in is a small cabinet that houses the sink and next to it is the toilet......
Next to the toilet is the tub and shower that runs the width of the room......
It can't get any smaller than that.....

Since I am a Victorian soul, I used 2 different wall paper borders on the top of the wall and ceiling when I re-decorated the bathroom several years ago.....
Victorians felt that the ceiling was the 5th wall.......

The color theme of this Bathroom is tan, purple and green........

So I have decorated it for Christmas with those same colors......

I have hung wreaths that I made on each door to every room in our townhouse.......
I made this wreath for the upstairs bathroom several years ago......
You can see that I used purple and gold as the main colors of this wreath......
I attached a Santa head in purple to it........

There is a set of purple battery operated LED lights on this wreath......

Hanging from the wreath is a gold velvet sticking that I embellished......
A purple ornament also hangs with the stocking.......

This is Tree #2..........
It was the perfect Tree to place on top of the shelf unit above the toilet.......
I bought it at a church flea market......

I decorated it with purple, gold and green ornaments.......
I tucked gold poinsettias bought at Dollar Tree into the Tree to add some fullness......
The bow at the top is made from a gold ribbon with purple roses on it......
And there are 2 sets of purple battery operated  LED lights on this Tree...
On the one side of the Tree is a purple vase with an arrangement of gold poinsettias and purple berries.......
I scattered  a few purple ornaments around on top of the shelf unit.......

I had o put some in antique butter pat dishes so they would not roll off into the toilet!!!!!
A purple putz house that I bought at Jo Ann's a few years ago and a purple package ornament.....
In the center, is an ornament with a Santa dress in purple!!!

On the opposite side of the Tree, is a brass candle holder with a purple votive cup that is surrounded by purple and gold berries.......
Over by the shower, I added 2 purple ornaments to a towel rack.....
Just to add that Christmas touch......
I also added a few Christmas touches to the sink area.......
On the wall soap dish, is a gold cone tree that I bought several years ago in Dollar Tree.....
I added a bow made from purple ribbon that I had in my stash.....
The bow made from purple ribbon hanging on the hydrangea plaque is there normally......
A gold poinsettia and purple berries were placed in a small purple vase on the sink..........
Just a few simple touches, added a bit of Christmas to the sink area.....
I hope you enjoyed seeing how you could decorate a Bathroom for Christmas!!!!
No matter how small it is.......

Continuing along my Christmas Home Tour, I will be showing you how I decorated my Craft Room for Christmas this year......
This is one of 3 decorated Trees in this room..........

I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  11. Purple is my favorite color so I especially enjoyed the tour of your bathroom. However, I really fell for the tree decorated in pink in your craft room. Looking at everyone's lovely decorations and beautiful homes makes me realize how much I need to do in MY house! Thank you for sharing your home with us. Merry Christmas.
