Christmas in the Den, Part 1, Christmas Home Tour, 2016

Welcome to Part 1 of Christmas in the Den........

The color theme for my Christmas decorations in this room is burgundy, blue and ivory.....

We will start our tour directly to the left when you walk in from the Kitchen......
My sister bought me this the Christmas after My mom passed away.....
The "Believe" sign was bought this year at Dollar Tree.....
I made this wreath.....
Love the image on my calendar.....
In the corner......
I made the swag.......
The Carolers were bought at Country Folks a few years ago.....
In the corner where the power box is.......
This section of the Den was once a storage room and my Dad took out the wall to enlarge the room.....
On the end table......
Greenery and a set of lights in a tin pocket......
Santas and a few snowmen inside a glass dome......
Above the chair......
Victorian themed plates on the shelf.......
  Snowman pillows......
A rocking horse and 2 vintage looking children....
The back door......
My Thomas Kinkade clock.....
Santas on the shelf under the clock.....
Tree # 16
I have had this 4 1/2 foot Tree for quite a few years and this year, I decided to give it a trim so it would not hang over the table.....
I took wire cutters and cut about 2 inches off the first 2 rows of branches to make the Tree a bit slimmer.......
Now it is a perfect fir for this table......
A vintage topper and pheasant feathers........
The bow is made out of a burgundy velvet ribbon and a ribbon with music sheet print on it....
The ornaments on this Tree are mostly Victorian in style.....
There are also some Thomas Kinkade ornaments.....
Burgundy velvet roses are also tucked into the Tree.....
Underneath the Tree are some new and some vintage putz houses.......
Along with a vintage manger just like the one I had as a child.....
Next to the Tree on a burgundy velvet ottoman.....
A Thomas Kinkade Music box........
And another Santa......
Looking through the Kitchen window which is now a pass through into the Den.....
Bows and angels hanging on the curtains....
I framed a Thomas Kinkade Christmas card.....
On the shelves are figures from Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol......
My sons also each have a set as it was one of their favorite Christmas stories!!

Even though Christmas is almost here, I still have a few more posts sharing how I decorated our home for Christmas and I also want to show you how one of my favorite stores, Country Folks, looked all decked out for the Holiday so I will still be posting here  on my Christmas Blog until about the middle of January........

In my next post, I will be sharing how I decorated the rest of the Den.........
So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE THE TOUR.......

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie
