Christmas in the Den, Part 1, Christmas Home Tour 2015

Welcome to Christmas in the Den, Part 1, Christmas Home Tour 2015!!

I have not been able to decorate the Den for Christmas for the past 2 years so when it came time to do so this year, I had a great time!!

Today, I am going to share mainly the vignettes on shelves and table tops in the Den.......
This area is to the left when you walk into the room from the Kitchen.....

I like to sit in this corner and watch TV when Joe is watching Hockey in the Living Room and I have Netflix hooked up to this TV.

The color theme for the Den is blue, tan and burgundy and I went with the same in my Christmas decorations.

My sister gifted this to me the Christmas after my Mom passed away, 11 years ago......
This is the door to a small storage room that we have........
I wreath that I made many years ago but added more florals to this year......
A Victorian Girl Head is attached to the Wreath. Michaels carried these doll heads for years but have not done so in some time......
A velvet burgundy bow with blue glittered hydrangeas and burgundy poinsettias........
On the door to the pantry closet is a Victorian style calendar and I love the picture on it for the month of December!!
To the right of the pantry closet........
Above the TV.......
On the shelves are Carolers that I bought many years ago......
I love their clothing!
There is a LED lighted Birch tree to the left.......
I made this swag a long time ago.......
On another shelf.......
The sign the mouse is holding says " Not a creature was stirring, not even a Mouse"!
More Carolers......
I have a lot of Thomas Kinkaid items in this room and on top of the cabinet where the TV is are 2 Thomas Kinkaid houses......
A Thomas Kinkaid sleigh ornament sits next to this house......
This box houses the electrical works......
The table in the corner.....
An Old World Santa in burgundy, bought at Sam's Club many years ago!!
Love this vintage looking book box.......
A tin pocket planter filled with greenery.....
This lights up and plays several songs!!
And on the floor next to the chair , I have all of my son's old Christmas books, including some vintage Golden books.
Above the chair.......
On the shelf.......
I love this Victorian style plate!
Another book box.......
More vintage style items.....
Snow Man pillows!!
The back door.......
And on a table sits a 4 foot Tree........
A Thomas Kinkaid Clock......
This Santa is actually a small Tree Topper.......
I will be sharing this Tree in my next post.......
Next to the Tree is an ottoman.....
You can see that I use it more as a table.....
Another Old Word Santa....
A Thiomas Kinkaid Music Box and a Santa Head......
I bought this Music Box at a Church Flea Market!
Looking out the pass through of the Kitchen, out into the Den......
Between the 2 windows.....
This is a card that I put in a frame.....
On these shelves are figures depicting Charles Dickens " A Christmas Carol"!
On top of the computer armoire....
A burgundy feather tree bought at Target several years ago.....
On the wall in the corner is another framed Christmas card......
 Santa on a bench......
A vintage looking Santa under the dome of an old Anniversary Clock!!!
Another Thomas Kinkaid House and Candle and a Santa ornament!
Another wreath that I made several years ago but dabbled with a bit this year.......
Next to the computer armoire is a small table with a mirror behind it.......
My Doll House, Nelson Crest, is on the other side as you can see!!
I will be featuring Nelson Crest decorated for Christmas, both inside and out, in another post!!
I always have lighted branches in this pitcher but I changed out the florals for Christmas ones..........
A Sweet little doll and another Thomas Kinkaid candle......
On the bottom shelf.......
 One more framed Christmas card.......
And that concludes Part 1 of Christmas in the Den!!

  In Part 2 , I showcase Tree #8!!
 Tree #9
 And the China Cupboard!!

  13. What a wonderful spot to sit and dream. I especially love the wreath with the musical note ribbon and burgundy and gold decorations. I am getting my burgundy and gold Christmas fix visiting you this year as I didn't use much myself this year. Sighing over all your Thomas Kincaid. I keep waiting to find a great Victorian Winter scene Kincaid print to use in the dining room during the winter at a sale or thrift - no luck with that!
