Christmas in the Stores: Big Lot's

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
I want to Thank Jody and Stan over at Rooted in Thyme for featuring my post,
It's Rudolph Day & Wanna See What I Bought from last week's Simple and Sweet Friday Party.
Thanks so much , Jody and Stan!!

Please take some time and stop over and visit and even link up to this great party!!

This is Part 3 in my Series, Christmas in the Stores and today I want to share all the Christmas Goodies that Big Lot's is offering this Holiday Season!

Years ago, the Stores were always packed to the brim with holiday decorations but when the economy tanked, all the stores cut their Holiday Merchandise way back.

I seem to be noticing a new trend this year.....The stores are loaded with Holiday merchandise.

More than I have seen in several years.  How about in your areas?

Okay, let's start our tour of Big Lot's Christmas section......

Check out those pink picks....... I must go back for them.....
All kinds of decorations.....
Love the vintage looking signs.....

Wreaths and Florals....
 Christmas Linens.....
 Tree Skirts and Stockings....
 Outdoor Decor.......
 More Outdoor Lighting......
 Check out the PIG!!!!!!

LOL!!
 Trees......

Loving these colors of Trees!!
See the 2 Trees in the black urns for $50??

I hope they go on sale soon because I would love to use one in my Kitchen for my Kitchen Tree this year.....

You know I am too cheap to pay full price......
 Lots of Lights.....
 And LOTS of ORNAMENTS!!!!!!
Check the gingerbread ornaments and the colored Trees on the bottom shelf......
Are you seeing the prices on these ornaments and they have yet to go on sale!!
 Look at these white owls!!!
Check the silver and aqua churches......

They also come in white and gold!
 Cupcake ornaments!!
 Check the candle ornaments....
LOVE these owl ornaments.... I am thinking of the gold ones for my Fall Tree next year.....
Big Lot's has a great selection of inexpensive ornaments.

I bought some on Clearance after Christmas here last year and used them on my other Seasonal Trees.

The Butterflies and Birds can be used on Summer Trees.

Red, White and Blue ornaments for Patriotic Trees.

Gold, Bronze and Silver ornaments for Fall and Halloween Trees.

This will be a great place to hit for the after Christmas sales and let your imagination soar!!

Again, I am receiving no type of Reimbursement from Big Lot's or any of the Stores that I am showcasing.

  2. Wow! Tinsel trees for $20...not bad. I too love the owl ornaments. For those prices, the glass ornaments would make fantastic gift toppers! Too bad I don't have a Big Lots around me. I think I'll have to go online to see where the closest one is.

  6. I was in one of our Big Lots...I love that store....yesterday and saw all the Christmas decorations. I wanted to buy a small tree for a kitchen tree this year but I hate to have to STORE ONE MORE THING. Where in the world do you store all your decorations....? and if you've not done a post on that subject, DO ONE..:))

  9. Our small town does have a Lowe's and a Big Lots. Your photos are awesome and I don't think our Big Lots has nearly the lovely things you shared. It is a smaller store. Lowe's is BIG and in fact we bought our 8 ft lighted Christmas tree from them 2 years ago. We love the tree so much.

I enjoyed the photos of all the wonderful things in the store. I too love the owls. They are coming back in popularity.

    Happy decorating.

  14. Another fun post! I have never been to a Big Lots before (I live in a small town and only get into town to shop every so often). I may have to add it to my places to shop list, some of those ornament deals look great! Loved the white owls. :) Thanks for the Christmassy fun!

  21. Thanks so much for sharing these photos! My husband and I just did the visit to Big Lots last week and saw all these same wonders...we came home with the turquoise, hot pink and purple glittered deers! We do a mod 1960's Christmas deco in the our living room, so the colors are just right. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  32. A person has to be really determined to leave a comment, you've got a few, can sure see why.
Can I have one of everything you showed us?
Hobby Lobby in Grand Junction, CO has had Christmas ornaments, etc. in their store since late June. Can you believe that?
Haven't been in Big Lots for long time. We don't go that part of town where they are since Hobby Lobby moved out of the shopping center it's in. I'll have to take that back, we were there couple weeks ago as that shopping center has my favorite $tree. We have two of them in G.J. but the one by Big lots has better and more great items than other one. I have bought a few things for Christmas decorating at that $tree. Just not up to getting all the old stuff we have out this year. Trying to keep it simpler but after seeing all that awesome merchandise at Big Lots I might have to reconsider. We have a single wide 16x80 mfg. home so not much room for any extras. Our living room is smaller than our bedroom. Still trying to figure out where I'll put a tree again this year, some creative furniture rearranging.
Love your blog, having a special blog for Christmas. Incredible. Wishing you and yours a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving.

  35. Last year was the first we did not decorate, the kids are older, we don't have company, so we opted out. Seeing these decorations made me rethink this choice for a second. I decided I'll just live this through you. Thanks again for sharing on Tuesdays With a Twist.

  36. this is kind of cool Debbie, since I live far from any of these stores - you've helped narrow down which to see first! I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
