THANK YOU so much for your visits!!!
I have a small Powder Room downstairs but my washer and dryer is in there behind Bifold doors so it actually gets a lot of use...Normally, I have pink frilly Victorian style decor in the Powder Room but for Winter, I change it into a Winter Wonderland....
When you walk in the door and look to the left, this is what you see....
I pulled the blue color out of the border and have a Snow Buddy Theme in this room.....
Now many of you have seen this room decorated like this before but some have not.....
And angel hanging and a wreath that I many MANY years ago....
A Snow Man picture....
I love the blue slate that I have hung above the Medicine Cabinet...
This was actually a mistake... I zoomed in a bit much and the camera took the pic but I sort of like the close up....
On a little shelf above my sink....
Not much of a sink but I do have the smallest bathrooms known to man in this house!!
And we are turning....
The shelf above the toilet....
Penguins for Joe (we have season tickets to AHL WB- Scranton Penguin Hockey)....
The middle figurine says " Penguins Hockey"!!
Below the shelf....
One of my after Clearance Target buys for $3.50!
It has batteries and lights up blue!
Now you may think how in the world is she going to get a tree on that estagere , let alone a 3 foot one....
When there is a will , there is a way!!
The tree is wired to the toile tray hanging on the wall and to the stand itself so it will not fall over or be knocked down.....
Then I straighten out all the branches right through the shelf itself....
And there it is......
And now here it is!! Tree # 9!
I can not use lights on this tree since it is not near a receptacle but for next year, I am think battery operated LED warm white lights or I may actually go with the Cool white since they do look blue and that would work in this room...
I added beaded garland, Snow Buddy ornaments, sparkly evergreen picks and blue berries along with buffalo snow stuck into the tree to fill it out!
As you can see the tree is right through the shelf...
Underneath the tree is another Target find that was $6.00 on Clearance and also lights up via battery...
Another little stand next to the estagere....
And I have Buffalo Snow under the tree......
One more shelf unit....
I hang ornaments just about anywhere...
More snow Buddies....
Every Snow Buddy on this shelf has a special meaning to me....
The one of the left reminds me of my mother , who still had a wringer washer when I was a child, emptying the wringer washer with buckets.
And the one of the right is in honor of my Dad who was a carpenter by trade, see his little tool belt.
From the left, "Shop til you Drop", need I say more?
The along those same lines is "Charge!!"
And the next one is "Tea Party"
Again from the left,
"Oooops!!" , I am not the most agile person!
"Remodeling", my house is in a constant state of remodel....
And " Hill Thrill", I loved to sleigh ride as a kid since I lived on a big hill....
This is above the Bifold doors that house the washer and dryer....
And above the door way...
And here is what it looks like at night.....
Well, there is only one more Part in our HOME TOUR, the Upstairs!!
So far I have shared with you 9 trees....

Debbie as always your powder room did not disappoint me one bit. Just so beautiful. The tree is just awesome.I love the snowbuddy theme there and it sure does pull the blue out in the paper.
ReplyDeleteI had to go on a search trying to figure out the buffalo snow. Gosh I am going to have to check into that for our snowman tree. We went from a 6 foot snowman tree to an 8 foot one this year and I am not at all happy with it but just could not justify buying more ornaments at this time. I spent way too much decorating the tree at the Senior Center.
I finally have just about finished with my decorating. Dishes to drag up and wash, and all my cookie jars and teapots and I think it will be done so I can get pictures.I do have 3 rustic trees I have not put up as of yet but not sure where I want them. Thinking the laundry room.
Merry Christmas,
Karan
Debbie, here I sit with one 4' tall tree and not a thing on it because I'm not inspired this year. Now I see your entire home decorated to the gills with all things Christmas, and I'm just amazed!
ReplyDeleteI would never leave the powder room, you'd find me in there just gazing at all the beauty!
I have been lurking your blog forever...and only now did realize I didn't have myself in your followers!!! sorry!!! I have rectified this little oversight just now....
ReplyDeleteI am the host of the blog party that you were featured in this week...and hope to meet many more wonderful bloggers in weeks to come. The party is brand new and I hope you will join in one day!!!
Love the Winter Welcome board.... And the blue and white themed decor looks lovely !!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Itz' Festival time !!
Have a great week ahead ;-) ;-) ...
Beautiful, just beautiful.. It's hard to believe how much you've incorporated into the decor; you've created a warm and inviting holiday room!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I'm just amazed by all your wonderful trees! Didn't you say you had 15 in all? You are a Christmas decorating rockstar, lady! How in the world do you do it all?
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie~Just gorgeous!!! I love your collection of snow buddies, just beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that you got that pretty tree in that space and that you have the energy to do all this. Happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could see your lovely home in person. You just blow me away with so much beauty.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty. Lovely Christmas village. The snow buddies are adorable, and the sentiments so sweet. Thanks, sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday! I'm pinking by 4's today (#104 is my link). The blue village, print and snowman picture are my favorites. Even the oops of the close up on that print turned out just fine didn't it? The night photo turned out neat as well. Looks very different in subtle lighting - and whatever feature is on your camera. I think I read that last week about your camera feature and that type of shot. I guess you can sit back and enjoy for a while now huh? I leave my snowmen out after December too. We don't get snow typically and if we do it doesn't amount to much -- probably more ice than a flake of snow. Enjoy. Thanks, Jenn
ReplyDeleteWhat a feast for the eyes!! My goodness, I bet your guests go in and don't come out for hours -- I know I'd be lost in there just browsing all of the beautiful vignettes!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet that your guests stay in that room a looong time! There's so much to see.
ReplyDeleteI have love your blue goodies.
Happy Blue Monday, Debbie.
