Christmas Kitchen Hutch and Tree, Christmas Home Tour, 2022

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

I am now posting 3 times a week !!!

I will be posting on TUESDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Today, I will be sharing the Hutch and Tree in the Kitchen and a few more changes that I made this year....

In my last post, I shared both my new Beverage Bar and Gingerbread Village....

Click HERE if you missed that post....

Thanks Niky, over at The House on Silverado, for featuring my post, A New Tree in the Sitting Room, Christmas Home Tour, 2022, as one of her features from last week's Sundays on Silverado Link Party!!

 Thanks so much, Niky!!

Thanks to authors of Create with Joy for choosing my Blog post, Christmas in the Hallway, Christmas Home Tour, as one of their features from last week's Inspire Me Monday Link Party!!

Thanks so much!!

Please stop by and link up to these charming parties!!

I was going to finish up my Tour of the Kitchen in this post but realized that I actually made quite a few changes to the Kitchen this year so I will be sharing only the Tree and Hutch today....

For many years, I have been decorating my Kitchen for Christmas in a Candy, Gingerbread and Baking theme.....

I am thrilled that Gingerbread decorations have seemed to make a big comeback this Season!!!

I always call this my focal wall as it serves no purpose other than to decorate it....

This year, I added more Christmas items to the shelves on each side of this wall that my Dad built from scrap lumber that he had....

A vintage style Santa mug ....

A Lump of Coal bag of candy....

On the side of the Hutch....

I placed a cutting board bought at Gabes over the chalkboard....

Greenery and a bow on top....

I bought this sign at Dollar Tree this past Saturday....

The black and white checks are so not my thing so I decided to change it more to my liking....

I trimmed it out in gold tinsel trim after gluing the red and white striped foam that I had in my stash over the black and white checks......

And I attached to red bow stickers along with a bow on top.....

Fits my Kitchen so much better, don't you think???

And this is where I hung it....

A gingerbread trivet and a large cookie cutter hang above it and to the right of it on the Hutch........

My 4 1/2 foot Kitchen Tree....

I bought this ribbon in Dollar General a few weeks ago....

I used it for the ribbon streamers on the Tree....

I added a set of peppermint candy lights and also a peppermint candy garland to the Tree....

I have collected all the Gingerbread, candy, cooking and baking ornaments for this Tree over many years...

From the side...

I also changed up a few things on the Hutch,,,,,,

My "Cooking" Santa's on top....

This one is holding a Gingerbread man and a Gingerbread house....

And this one is holding a basket of Gingerbread cookies and also is decorated with Gingerbread men....

Both were bought in J.C. Penney's many years ago....

And a Mr. and Mrs. Ceramic Gingerbread couple....

A bow in the center with an ornament....

Top shelf....

I recently bought this runner in Dollar General.....

I cut it to fit my counter bar and then cut the piece that was left over into 2 pieces to use on the shelves of the Hutch....

The ceramic Chef Santa was bought in Burlington and the Ho Ho Ho candy jar was a gift...

I just bought the green and white bottle brush tree in Dollar Tree

A vintage glass cookie jar filled with cookie cutters.....

I just had to have this Santa with a green and white striped shirt on from Gabes.....

I added Gingerbread house ornaments to the shelves....

I bought the Santa Salt and Pepper Shakers also in Penney's many years ago....

 The bottom shelf....

This vintage green yellow ware bowl filled with a vintage loaf pan, vintage cookie cutters and cooking utensils graces this shelf for most of the year....

I made the tree in a thread spool last year.....

The Santa with his list of baking ingredients was bought at Cracker Barrel.....

A candy jar with a Gingerbread man on top was bought many years ago at The Christmas Tree Shop....

And the peppermint candy cookie jar was bought at a yard sale....

A vintage pair of salt and pepper shakers...

And I added another green and white bottle brush tree......

I added more green items to the Kitchen this year and I am enjoying them.....

The desk area of the Hutch is where I display my "Sweet Shop".....

 In the corner....

A red sifter that I bought a few years back in Big Lot's and filled with florals....

The cupcake dishes were all bought at an estate Sale of a Florist and his shop....

 Santa's Sweet Shop

A glass apothecary jar filled with Gum Drops

The red and white tiered tray was gifted to me by 2 dear friends....

It is filled with real candy and also faux pastries and candy....

The North Pole Bakery sign was bought at Hobby Lobby last year....

Another glass apothecary jar filled with Christmas candy...

I also like to decorate under the desk....

I changed this up this year....

I placed a plastic tray on top of my vintage metal picnic basket and covered it with a vintage Christmas napkin....

A "Milk for Santa Candle, one of the reindeer mugs I bought this year at Big Lot's and 2 reindeer candle holders along with a bottle of Reindeer Food that I made from an A1 Steak sauce bottle last year....

I just bought this at Dollar General last Saturday....

And a Chocolate Kitchen Nutcracker....

2 ornaments hung from the knobs of the drawers.....

Hanging on the side of the hutch is another large red cookie cutter and a vintage Christmas apron.....

On the shelf on the other side of the Hutch....

Another cooking Santa and a pretty lady head vase....

She was a gift from a friend!!!

A jar filled with all the ingredients to make cookies!!

And below the chair rail....

I bought the candy wreath from a vendor at a Craft Fair....

And that is my focal wall in the Kitchen all decked out for Christmas.....

I hope you enjoyed seeing it and the different things I added this year....

I sure had a lot of fun doing so!!

  1. Your kitchen is absolutely gorgeous , Deb and is filled with Christmas cheer. I just love all of your sweet vignettes. I had such a great time pouring over each of the fabulous detail in each one. And thank you so much for the craft ideas. You are so very clever. Love the use of the A-1 bottle. I always leave with ideas. I would love to place my metal grinder on a shelf as well. Blessings and hugs.

  2. Beautiful!! I love peeking at all your decor, there's so much to take in, I find myself scrolling back and forth many times. It's all so pretty, but that little star gingerbread ornament caught my attention and my heart. Oh my goodness, that face! So sweet...no pun intended!!

  5. I am loving all the gingerbread themed decorating things out this year and have had to hold myself back from buying them all. I did buy a few pieces though... I've been slowly stocking up on baking ornaments for my son's tree and love so many of the cute ones you have on your tree. It all looks so festive and fun.
