Anne Marie's Christmas Home Tour, 2021

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog!!

Every room in our townhouse has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20, in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same room every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but to me, it like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas as many of my decorations were gifts from family and friends...........

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas Traditions and bring back a lot of treasured memories.....

Just a reminder, I will be NOW posting 2 times a week !!

I am going back to posting on Wednesdays and Sundays!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope you get to spend the upcoming weekend celebrating with those you love!!!!

Today, I have a special treat for you!!!

I will be sharing my good friend Anne Marie's home decorated for Christmas!!!

Personal Notes will be back when I post on Sunday.....

Anne Marie and I met at the Wilkes Barre Scranton Pens Hockey games....

She and her husband had Season Tickets and sat in the row in front of Joe and I .....

At that time, both Tony and Joe smoked and always went out to smoke together....

Both have since quit...

Anne Marie and I started to talk and quickly found out we had a LOT in common....

Both nurses, both loved the Victorian style, both had sons name Joe, both lost our Mom's and were closer to our Dad's and the list went on....

We were destined to become friends even though we live about 25 minutes apart, with me living in Wilkes Barre Twp. and she up in Scranton....

I have been sharing Anne Marie's house decorated for the different Seasons and Holidays since it is no surprise that she also loves to decorate like I do!!!

Since the onset of the Pandemic, she has been kind enough to take the pictures and send them to me.....

Hopefully, things will get better and I will be able to visit her home and take the pictures myself!!!

So without further adieu, here is my dear friend's beautiful home all decked out for Christmas....

Both her and her husband Tony love to collect antique pieces and that includes some magnificent furniture pieces....

So grab a cup of something good to drink and sit back and ENJOY!!!!!

We will start at the front door.....

Isn't she a Sweetie?????

A perfect end to a great tour, don't you think?????

I hope you enjoyed seeing Anne Marie's home decorated for Christmas this year....

I may add that Anne Marie works for an Eye Clinic who has offices throughout NEPA....

In fact, one of their branches is where my son Jim had his recent surgery.....

She often works 10 hour days and sometimes assists with surgery , standing all day long...

But she still manages to make her home beautiful and festive for every Season and Holiday, often changing the way it looks from year to year!!!

These are posts I did featuring Christmas at Anne Marie's home:

We missed a few years due to weather and just not having enough time to get together.......

And then I started asking her to please send me pictures so I could continue to do posts on her home and decorations....

  10. Oh Debbie! Marie's home is just incredible!!! I love her sweet pup and added her to my Animal Friends board on Pinterest (in addition to a TON of other photos to various boards!!!). So fun to see your homes and how similar they are. I love the older Victorian furniture, too. Makes housing all one's china so much more authentic and prettier in a way...

So happy to have featured your post at this past Share Your Style #331 for you and Marie,
    Happy New Year,
    Barb :)
