HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

I have a special treat for you today......

I am sharing my dear friend Anne Marie's home decorated for Christmas.....

Anne Marie went in a different direction with her decorations this year and created a truly Vintage Christmas in her home....

I will let the pictures do the talking except for Anne Marie's descriptions which I put in quotes.....

  6. Oh my, the expression on Autumn's face "Mom, I can't believe you're making me wear this Christmas sweater and a WREATH on my head." I love the candle lights on Anne Marie's tree by the entry to the dining room with the vintage ornaments - so beautiful. I remember as a kid bubble lights and loved them, I would sit and stare at them on the real tree (there weren't artificial trees as far as I remember in the 1950s) for hours, just watching the bubbles continually flow. I know they were a "thing" that came back a few years ago, but now you don't see them on trees any more, at least I haven't seen them on the trees on Youtube videos that I watched to try to pick up some techniques for putting French ribbon on a tree. I am going to hunt around to see if I can find some discounted bubble lights now that everything is on sale. And I did learn some things about how to do French ribbon on a tree, especially from Ramon at Home, he is over the top on his trees, which I love because to me when it comes to decorating my Christmas tree, which is only up for perhaps 6 weeks every every year more is better!
