Christmas in the Upstairs Bathroom, 2019

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
I am so happy that you decided to stop by my Christmas Blog....

Continuing my Christmas Home Tour, today we will be taking a look at the upstairs Bathroom....

As I mentioned before, I hang wreaths that I made on the doors to each room.....
The colors match that of the room........

This is the door to the bathroom......
Yes, it is purple!!
And gold.......

Hanging below the wreath is a pretty gold velvet stocking that I embellished.....
This is the upstairs bathroom......
I call it the smallest bathroom known to man......

There is a small vanity to the right, the toilet and the tub against the back wall.....

That is it!!!

I made the valance above the tub......
And I embellished the shower curtain to match the valance......
The vintage His and Her towels were my neighbor Elly's.....

Even though this bathroom is so small, I have managed to put a Tree in here for the past several years.......
On top of the storage unit above the toilet......

This bathroom has been pretty much decorated the same way for several years as I do not have much choice here so this post will be a refresher if you have visited here in past years...

This is what it looks like normally......
And now for Christmas.......
The color theme is purple, gold and sage green.....
On the side of the Tree.....
I have to put the ornaments in antique small dishes so they do not roll off and fall into the toilet!!
I also tucked gold poinsettias into the Tree......
After I took the first pictures, I found a purple and a green glass bird ornamments in my stash that I added to the Tree....
The other side of the Tree.....
The shelf unit above the toilet....

Many years ago, I covered it with paintable wall paper and stained it rather than painted it.....

I hung these cute ornaments from the door handles of the shelf unit above the toilet.......
And added 2 more purple ornaments.....
In the corner, by the sink......
More ornaments.....
Just a few things added to the sink area....
And I just want to show you the wall behind the door......
A few shimmery gold and purple picks tucked in among the greenery in this wall planter.....
With a little imagination, this shows that you can decorate even the smallest room......
It takes me one day to clean and decorate this room.....

The next stop along the my Christmas Home Tour with be my Craft Room where I did change some things up a little bit......
So I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!

Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  1. Hi Debbie,
You go to a lot work with your Christmas-ing. I used to do that but I have pared way back for health reasons. There is only so much I can do. I would love to put a little tree in the main bath but Hubby probably wouldn't like having to work around it. I have very little counter space in there. I suppose he could get used to it though. It's only for a short while after all. You made a lovely valance for above the tub. The room looks very Victorian! That little feather tree in your craft room is so cute. You are welcome to share this at No Place Like Home if you wish. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration. Hugs...Sandi

  2. Morning Debbie,
Your bathroom is so pretty! I just love the his and her towels, and the violet snack set. You did a really nice job with the valance. Is that a Little Women "Meg" ornament on the shelf? Is so, I have the same one! And am thinking about getting the other three.
Rain, rain, rain down here...tomorrow too, they say...yuk...
    Blessings, Linda

    1. Linda,
Thanks so much for stopping by again!! I am embarrassed to say that I am actually not sure if the ornament is Meg...I do have one in pink too.....I bought it for the color!! LOL!!The valance is actually made out of a tablecloth that I thought matched the border well.....I hope you have a great weekend!!
      Hugs,
      Deb

  3. Hi Debbie,
What a beautiful bathroom! I'm going to pin it. I love purple. I'm wearing purple today-- a purple sweater, a tie dyed purple and white skirt, and a purple headband! And your pink craft room looks so pretty, too.
Is there wallpaper on the ceiling? It doesn't come off from humidity?

  4. I love it all...especially that valance over the shower curtain. I have always wanted to do that. Maybe in the new year. Right now I think I've had enough curtain making for one season!! 😉 Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
