Winter Wonderland in the Powder Room, Christmas Home Tour, 2018

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
Today, I will be sharing what I call my indoor Winter Wonderland with a touch of Christmas!!

I have been decorating our Powder Room in a blue , silver and white color theme with Snow Buddies for over a decade now......

This room is the room that all our guests can't wait to see if they have been here before or are usually the most amazed at if it is their first time visiting!!

Let's start our tour at the door......
Like all the doors in our townhouse, I have hung a wreath that I made on it.....
This wreath is done in blue, silver and white and has a Santa ornament hanging in the center,,,,,
Hanging below the wreath is the stocking that I embellished.......
Above the doorway inside the Powder Room, it an evergreen swag......
I hung blue icicles from it.......

Directly to the left is the sink area.......
We remodeled this Powder Room a few years ago with new flooring, a new medicine cabinet , a new color of paint ( gray) and a new border.........
I turned off the lights in some of the photos to make it easier to see.......
On a shelf on the side of the sink area......
Vintage silver candlesticks with evergreen candle rings, Snow Buddies and a lighted silver mercury glass tree are displayed on the shelf.......
An Angel hangs above and Santa ornaments hang from the shelf......
Below the shelf hangs a slate with a Winter scene on it....
And below the slate hangs a Christmas plaque that I made.......
The new medicine cabinet allows me to decorate on top of it.....
Snow Buddies, greenery, silver trees and a silver putz house sit on top of the medicine cabinet.....
Glittered silver ornaments add a bit of sparkle......
With the lights on......
The corner above the sink......
The sink area with the lights on......
The 3 black wash room signs were bought on Amazon last year.....
To the side of the sink area, above the commode.......
To the left of the wall shelf...........
These silver frames normally are displayed on the estagere and have photos of Ladies in vintage hats inside them have been now hung on the wall and now have Christmas cards displayed inside of them!!
I chose cards with a Winter theme.......
The shelf unit above the commode......
A snowman candy cane hangs off the shelf....
On the top shelf is a mercury glass finial that Joe bought on Clearance last year in Bed, Bath and Beyond, another mercury glass lighted tree and more Snow Buddies.....
Skate ornaments also hang off the sides.....

This shelf is for Joe who is an avid Penguins Hockey fan, both Pittsburgh Pens and the Wilkes Barre Scranton Pens......
The Snow Buddy figurine says "Penguin Hockey"!
 Beneath the shelf.....
A Christmas plate hangs above the towel bar......
Snow Buddies, another lighted mercury glass tree and a lotion pump rest on top of the commode.....
In the corner......
The estagere........
A chandy hangs above the Tree for this room......
Yes, this Tree is wired to the estagere.......
Last year, I discovered that I could make Trees thinner by simply cutting a few inches off the trees and this is one tree that I did just that to!!!

A bow tops the Tree......
Which is decorated with Snow Buddy ornaments......
Snowflake and icicle ornaments.....
Silver ornaments and birds......
Blue and silver berry picks are tucked into the Tree along with silver glittered evergreen picks.....
A white and silver sweater like tree skirt, more Snow Buddies, a silver church and a bridge.....
Create a Winter scene beneath the Tree.....
You can also see that the Tree is lit by battery operated lights ( the battery packs) since there is no receptacle to plug lights into.....
1 set of lights are blue and white icicle lights......
On the shelf underneath the Tree is a little village scene......
A blue church with Santa Snow Buddy figures.....
A silver putz house ornament along with a blue church ornament and the last of the set of 4 mercury glass trees.......
A 3 tiered shelf sits next to the estagere.......
The top shelf....
Middle shelf......
Bottom shelf......
Another shelf unit......
2 small Home Interiors shelves hang on each side of the wicker shelf unit....
A blue and white Santa sits on each shelf that is decorated with a few ornaments
The sconces on each side of the shelf unit.....
A snowman picture hangs above the shelf......
Blue bottle brush trees, silver mercury glass owls and a blue and white angel...
The Snow Buddies on these shelves have special meaning to me......
"Tea Party" which is one of my passions, " Charge" and "Shop til You Drop" reminds me of shopping with my Mom every Saturday afternoon when I loved at home before I got married....
A Carpenter Snow Buddy for my Dad, "Remodeling" which I love to do, "Oops" because I tend to fall a lot and the Cleaning Lady Snow Buddy for my Mom who was always cleaning!!!

Underneath the shelf is another framed Winter scene card.........
I keep Q Tips and cotton balls in the silver creamer and sugar bowl.....
The washer and dryer are in a closet in the Powder Room.......

This swag hangs above the closet.....
I decorated it a bit with blue snowflakes and a snow man ornament.....
The Powder Room will stay decorated like this for the remainder of the Winter.....
After Christmas, I will remove any Christmas decorations and add a few Valentine's Decorations......
I hope you enjoyed seeing my indoor Winter Wonderland!!
In my next post, I will be sharing my Gingerbread and Candy Christmas Kitchen!

  3. Your powder room is so pretty, Debbie. I've probably told you this before, but I really like the wall color you chose in the room. I'm hoping to paint every room in my house a pretty grey-white color. It's such a relaxing and pleasant hue. Merry Christmas to you and yours. May you be blessed.
