A Nelson Crest Christmas, Victorian Doll House, Christmas Home Tour, 2018

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!
Well, my Christmas Home Tour is nearing to an end....

After this post, sharing Nelson Crest, my Victorian Doll House, there is only one more room left to share and that is the Den.......

You may have noticed that I have not been counting the Trees that I have in our Townhouse that are decorated for Christmas....

I will be revealing how many for this year in a post after I show you our Den all decked out for Christmas......  But today, I want to share Nelson Crest in it's Christmas finery!!
I really enjoy decorating my Victorian Doll house for different Holidays and Seasons but Christmas is always my favorite Holiday to decorate for!!
Let's start with the outside of Nelson Crest......
This is the side yard on the left.....
I finally used some new "snow" this year.......
I am going to let the pictures do most of the talking.......
Wreaths are hung on all the windows......
The balcony off the Master Bedroom.....
A Santa Head hangs off the balcony railing.....
After I took the initial photos for this post, I decided to add garland around the door to the Master bedroom.....
I like the way it looks...
The front porch and yard.....
The left side of the front yard......
A large nutcracker and a sleigh full of presents.....
The front porch and steps....
The left side of the front yard.....
A bench with skates and a snow man.....
The left side yard....
So that is how Nelson Crest looks decorated for Christmas on the outside!!
Now let's take a look inside at how the Nelson family decorated for Christmas!!
We'll start downstairs......
In the Parlor........
You can see that Mr. Nelson is relaxing after a hard day of work and reading the newspaper.....
The Parlor has been decorated for Christmas by Mrs. Nelson and Victoria, the Nelson's daughter.....
The Tree in this room is a battery operated Tree bought in Target....
Toys and presents have been placed around the Tree....
The Dining Room is ready for guests........
There is another Christmas Tree in this room.......
A Toy Soldier stands guard by the fireplace.......
A cake has been put out on the table for guests to enjoy.....
A Nativity Set is displayed on top of the hutch....

Now we will go upstairs to see what Mr.s Nelson is doing......
After wrapping present, Mrs. Nelson is relaxing and taking a minute to do stop reading.....
You can see that she was also enjoying a cup of Tea....
There is another decorated Tree in the Master Bedroom.....
I made this Tree for Nelson Crest's first Christmas.....
Another Nativity Set and a small Tree are displaying on top of the Chest of Drawers......
The Nelson's daughter, Victoria, is playing with her toys in her room........
Since I am a Mother of 2 Sons, I decided to have a little girl's room in my doll house.....
Victoria's bedroom is done in lavender like mine was when I was a child........
Toys and a few Christmas decorations brighten Victoria's room....
This year, a small decorated Tree has been added to her room for Victoria to enjoy!!

Now we will go up to the 3rd floor........

Victoria takes music lessons so it is only fitting that there would be a Music Room for her to practice in........
There are various instruments like guitars, harps, french horn and a piano in this room......
And another Christmas Tree has been added to this room for the Holiday Season as well!!
Also on the 3rd floor is the Bathroom........

Victorian style bathroom fixtures depict the era .....
A small tree also graces this bathroom just like in our townhouse where there is a Christmas Tree in our 2 Bathrooms......
The Meson's are all ready to enjoy this Christmas Holiday Season with family and friends!!!
I hope you enjoyed seeing Nelson Crest all dressed in it's Christmas finery.....

And as always, if you would like to read the story of how this wonderful man, Roy Nelson, made my childhood dream of owning a Victorian Doll House come true....
Click HERE to read the original post .......

Roy was 88 years old and just diagnosed with cancer when he started to build my doll house......

He went on to not only finish mine but build another one for a friend of mine before he passed away!!

I had contacted a reporter I knew at the local newspaper about Roy who built over 30 doll houses and never charged a dime except for the cost of materials.....

This is Roy reading the story that was written about him......
I will forever be grateful to this dear man for making my childhood dream come true!

In my next post, I will be sharing the Den, the last room on my Christmas Home Tour.......
So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  3. Oooo! I love the doll house! We built a 2 story doll house(with garage) for our daughter about 4 years ago. My dad and mom made the shell and my husband and I added "wallpaper" fixtures etc. This post brought back great memories. :) And the doll house is amazing! All the details are wow! and the furnishings and decor are so neat. Thanks for sharing. Stopping by from Wonderful Wednesday blog hop.
