Christmas at Country Folks, Part 1, 2016

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and got to spend it with those you love!!

We enjoyed having the kids over for Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Day Dinner and then I laid down for about 2 hours and went to work on Christmas Day night!!

Hospitals do not shut down for the Holidays and I have been on a 3 night stretch since Christmas Day night.

I am now off for 4 days and do not go back to work until New Year's Day night......

Hopefully, I only have to work 2 more holiday seasons and then I can retire and finally get to be off for both the eve and the day nights of each holiday!!! I just pray that I live that long!!

Before Christmas, Joe and I made a visit to my favorite place to see at Christmas time......

Country Folks!!

If you missed a post I did back in the Fall when we last visited, please click HERE and HERE

If you have never seen any of my posts on Country Folk, it is a 3 story barn turned into a decor shop!!
It is nestled in a valley on the family farm, surrounded by mountains in Nescopek, Pa., about a 20 minute drive from our house.
You can see that wreaths were hung on all the windows and it looks like icicle lights are hanging from the roof.......

The wrap around porch holds a few treasures of it's own.....
And this guy greets you as you enter......
I am going to take you around the 1st floor including 2 rooms that I thought were simply stunning!!

Pictures of the first floor.....
Country Folks carries a huge collection of Byer's Choice Carolers which are made in Pennsylvania......
Old World ornaments....
Now we walk through the doorway into one of 2 separate rooms on the first floor......
Giant silver bells hang above a table.....
Greenery and lighting on the rafters......
A gorgeous Nativity.....
An amazing Tree!!
At the end of this room before you take a left and walk into the other room.....
Above the doorway that leads to what I call the Fireplace Room.......
My mouth dropped to the floor when I saw this.......

I was speechless......

The 2nd Floor......

Walking up the steps.....
I am going to let the pictures do the talking.......

I especially love the vingette......

We will end here for today........

If you are interested, please click HERE for Country Folk's web site....

And click HERE for their Facebook page if you would like to see more photos.......

I will be sharing the 3rd floor..........

And the display House...Yes, they have an entire house that is for nothing but display!!!!!
Click HERE to read Part 2 of our visit to Country Folk.....

In my next post, I will be sharing how I decorated Nelson Crest for Christmas......

So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
