The Spirit of Christmas Books 1-4, Christmas In July 2016

I have decided in celebration of Christmas in July, I will be sharing with you some of my Christmas Inspiration!

I have many Christmas books including the entire series called The Spirit of Christmas by Leisure Arts.
This series ran from 1987 to 2003 with a new book published every year.

 I bought mine on Ebay.

I did share these books on this blog back in 2012 but I have decided to share them again because I LOVE them and I think that even though they are older, you can find inspiration in them!!

I do apologize for the photos because they are from 2012 and were taken with a different camera than I have now but I did not feel like taking the photos over again!!

Each book is divided into 3 sections:

The Sights of Christmas- Decorations

The Sharing of Christmas- Gifts

The Tastes of Christmas- Recipes

These books feature everything you can make by yourself from Decorations to Gifts to Recipes for Cookies, Brunches, Parties and Dinners!!

I am going to be sharing the decorating ideas from these books starting with the first 4 books.......

  3. I have to admit to being a little bit ready for some Christmas inspiration. In Texas it's hovering around 100 right now. Doing Christmas crafts during the afternoons is a great way to spend the time. :)

  9. Lots of inspiration to be found in these books, Debbie; thank you so much for sharing. I've always loved the many different ways to decorate for Christmas, and I've hoarded many, many Christmas ornaments and decor. Alas, I do not have the room for all of them, and every year I swear that I am going to "give away" or sell some of my collections because I just can't use them all. . .but it's so difficult to decide what I can part with!

  10. This is the time of year that I start thinking about what theme's I will use for my Christmas trees and your books have given me a lot of wonderful ideas. I really liked the American Christmas tree and the Romantic one too, but they were all so pretty it would be hard to pick a favorite. Have a blessed week....hugs..
