Christmas in the Craft Room Part 1, Christmas Home Tour 2015

Next up on our Christmas Home Tour is the Craft Room.......

I have not had the chance to decorate this room for Christmas for the past 2 years.

I was especially thrilled to be able to do so this year because I had bought some new things on Clearance after Christmas over the last few years and could not wait to see how it all came together in this room.......

I am going to share this room in 2 posts with this being the first one featuring my Craft Room Christmas Tree!

I keep a Tree up in this room year round.

You may remember my Craft Room Summer Tree that I decorate with Tea cups, Roses, Ice Cream cones and Butterflies...
Click HERE to see that post.

This is what my Craft room looks like normally.......

Here is the Tree all decked out for Christmas!!
 This is Tree # 4.........
I decided to decorate it in a Pink, Green and White color scheme to match the colors of the room.....
I bought this tree at a flea market and it is the perfect size for this room.....
I really like how it came out!!
Feathers and a bow made out of pink and white striped ribbon top this Tree......
And a pretty pink Santa Head......
I have tucked pink velvet poinsettias into the Tree to add a bit of fullness......
There is white beaded teardrop garland on this Tree....
And a LOT of ornaments that I have collected over 30 + years........
Many are in the Victorian style are hard to find nowadays!!
The green glitter ones like the snowflakes and birds were bought last year at Target and Big Lots.....
As were the pink and green ball ornaments.......
The pink fairy one on the left is a childhood ornament of mine and the one on the right , I made using those boxes that you get when you buy a piece of jewelry.
Notice that there is pink and gold glitter on some of the tops of the pink ball ornaments......
I just painted the top with some glue and sprinkled glitter on to add a bit of glam to them!!
You may remember when I also dabbled a bit with the snow flake ornaments......
If you missed that post, please click HERE
At the base of the Tree.......
Is a  Ice Skate Planter( that I bought at  The Christmas Tree Shop a few years ago), filled with pink and white poinsettias......
I added the pink glitter and white fur to the skates!!

And 2 friends, sitting on a bench!!
I took some photos of the tree lit in the day time with the sun streaming through the window.
I used the candlelight mode on my camera.......

I thought they came out looking rather interesting!

As I mentioned, this is Tree # 4, one of 7 Trees upstairs!

  6. Debbie, you have some of the cutest ornaments! It's a good thing you started collecting them years ago because I think there is less and less Victorian around the shops which is too bad. Love all your pink! Thanks for sharing at my No Place Like Home party and enjoy your week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  8. So love your tree. And such a wonderful collection of ornaments on it. Pink ornaments just remind me so of a tree of my childhood. Dad sprayed it silver for mom and she did it all in pink. Wish I had all her pink now.

Just got my 4th tree up so am slowly getting there.
