August Rudolph Day, A Wreath Re-Do!!

 Happy Rudolph Day!!!
Yes, it is the 25th of  the month so it is Rudolph Day!!

My Christmas post for this August Rudolph's Day is a Wreath Re- Do!!

This is the wreath that I made to hang on the upstairs Bathroom Door several years ago......
It matches nicely with the Tree that I have in the Bathroom for Christmas.......
Yes, I have a Tree in my Bathroom for Christmas!!

I also have one in the downstairs Powder Room that stays up for Christmas and for the rest of the Winter!!
Back to the wreath which I thought was a bit sparse and since I have a LOT of un-decorated wreaths that I bought while selling Crafts at Craft Fairs ( I am taking a break from that for about 2 years) , I thought that I would take another wreath of the same size and wire it to this existing wreath........
What a difference in just the fullness of the wreath it made!!

I had some left over ornaments that I did not have room for on the small Tree in the Bathroom so I added them too!
I mainly added them around the second wreath and then a few were added to the old wreath........
The Santa Head stayed where it was on the old wreath......
And I just added a bow made out of glitzy ribbon!!
I think it looks much better, don't you?
When the hallway is dark and there isn't much light, the wreath sort of sparkles......
It will match nicely with the Tree......
And the rest of the Bathroom......
  What a difference........

From this........
To this..........
So if you want to add a bit of fullness to a smaller wreath, just add a second wreath to it!!

Happy Rudolph's Day!!

I hope you will come back next month to see what I post for Rudolph's Day!!

Remember it will be September 25th!!

  1. OK, friend. After seeing how you gussied up the already very pretty wreath by adding another to make it all-out gorgeous, I am reminded that I need to start on Christmas! It really does look over-the-top purpully(not sure that's a word, but it is now) Victorian spectacular. How smart of you to add the wreath in the middle. Your Christmas decor makes me feel like I do when I visit the Inn at Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge and you know how I love that place!

  3. Very nice Debbie. The second wreath and a few more ornaments and the bow really added a richness to it.

Have not even had time to get my Christmas things moved from the old house. So glad our daughter is living there so I can take my time. Want to go through things and share a lot with the girls before I move it to the new house.

I brought a lot of my parents Christmas items home with me. So I will have lots of new to me decorating to do this year.

  7. Debbie, That is a fantastic idea to wire two wreaths together to get the fullness that you want! Love that idea! You have such a beautiful eye for making lovey things. The wreath is even more gorgeous and I love the trees in the bathroom and powder room! Thank you for sharing with us at Brag About It and for your visits. ~Laurie
