Tea at Sugar's Tea Room!
A week ago, my Victorian Group had our Christmas get together at Sugar's Tea Room.
This is one of my favorite places.
Here is the gift shop which greets you when you first walk in.......
Delightful Treasures await you...
As we walked up stairs to where we would be seated, I took pics of the rooms that we passed by.....
Each decorated differently....
This is the Gold Room with it's iron gazebo in the center...
A beautiful vignette on the buffet...
A cozy little spot for Tea....
Beautiful Gold decorations....
An Alcove all decorated....
Santa....
The pink Room.....
There was a party going on in there so I did not want to intrude too much...
The Green Room...
Beautiful decorations.....
A painting on the stair case....
The room that we were in....
Our Tea sandwiches......
Freshly baked scones....
Notice the serving piece...
A Beautiful plate glued to a candle stick!!
Us Bloggers know all about that , right??????
John and Lisa....
Joe and I...
Finally a decent pic of me and he has his eyes closed....
Al and Carol......
Jolyn and Amy....
Ann Marie and Rose Marie and her hubby......
Rosalie and Joe. I think he was going to stick his tongue out at me......
Such a beautiful place....
Another room with a party in progress.....
And another room.....
Sugar's Tea Room is owned by 2 sisters and they do a wonderful job! Good food, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful friends made for a lovely day!

Good morning Debbie,

How wonderful to have a victorian group and get to wear those beautiful hats!! I would love a reason to wear a fancy hat! I often walk by them and dream about wearing them here and there. I think I would get too many looks though, lol. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHi Dear Debbie ~ What a lovely spot to enjoy a festive lunch with friends! All the rooms are each so unique unto themselves but equally lovely. C'mon Joe ... open your eyes (lol). Thank you for your friendship. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow-it looks like a wonderful tea party!

There is so much to see I can't imagine taking it all in on just one visit! It looks like you all had a good time, and you're right, it is a very good picture of you and fortunately your husband is handsome even with his eyes closed.( so use this picture of the two of you liberally )
ReplyDeleteIt would have been nice attending this event with you. However, I probably would have not eaten much for looking at all the lovely things there. That is a good picture of you two even if he dosed off.
ReplyDeleteOh Debbie, how fun! What a terrific time you must have had there!
ReplyDeleteHappy Rednesday,
Sally
