The Christmas Spider and Tea Cup Tree!

Welcome to my Christmas Blog to those of you who have not visited here before!

I know it has been some time since I posted on this Blog. Since the end of the last holiday season, I went back to posting on my regular blog, Debbie-Dabble.

I promised to return here , to a Debbie-Dabble Christmas , to show you all things Christmas.

For those that know me, I had 14 Christmas trees in my home last Holiday Season.

I had 5 Valentine's Day's trees and I currently have 2 Easter trees !!

I wanted to keep a tree up year round in my Craft/Sewing Room because I so love the look of the room with a glow of a lit tree!

Last week, I showed you my Summer Tea Cup and Rose Tree on Debbie-Dabble.

But since it is a Christmas tree but decorated for Summer, I thought I would share it with you here.

First I want to tell you the Story of the Christmas Spider.

I received this as a gift from my dear friend, Anne Marie.

Please click to enlarge to read it better.

It is a German and Ukraine custom to have a spider on your Christmas tree.

Here is my lovely spider on my Craft Room Tea Cup and Rose tree.....

It clips on......

Isn't she pretty??

For those of you that read my post about this tree on Debbie- Dabble, I have added some things....

I bought these butterflies and birdie at Micheal's for 60 % off.....

Here is my Tea Cup and Rose Summer Tree.....

At the top, I used white feathers, a sprig of Summer flowers, a bow made from ribbon bought on Clearance last season at Micheal's and a Victorian Doll Head.

There are white lights and silk rose lights on the tree....

I stuck some pink and white silk roses into the tree......

Here is the Birdie and some of the butterflies....

I also used tea cups without saucers as ornaments along with some regular tea pot and tea cup ornaments...

A mouse in a Tea Cup...

A Seed packet ornament.....

A Butterfly clip on ornament bought at Target for 75% off last years for $1.25!

A Tea Cup....

The church trimmed in pink reminds me of a Summer Wedding.....

I had also showed everyone this sweet little girl's dress I bought at Salvation Army for $3.00. I thought it would make a perfect tree skirt......

I did not want to cut and ruin the dress so I turned the bodice inward and wrapped it around the tree stand.....

When I strip this tree and redecorate it for Christmas, I will lift the tree out of the stand on put the dress over the tree stand rather than wrapped around it but since I already had the tree decorated, I couldn't do this now.

I think it made a good tree skirt!!

So that is my updated Summer Craft Room Tea Cup and Rose tree!!

Only goes to show you that you can have a Christmas tree for all seasons and holidays!!
